With those shoes you can do no wrong! I love the crisp red white and navy patterns together. It seems like theres two major looks going; Monochromatic solids, where different shades of the same color are worn head to toe. And patterns in the same color family that clash, but very prettily. Like this.
I love this mix and match look. The pieces are different styles but together they go well. I like how the skirt is longer at the back, it makes it flirty :) Those shoes… OMG.
CRAZY wonderful mix. Rustic meets feminine meets Italiano high style. The shoes are off the charts! I just want to keep looking @ this inspired juxtaposition.
I love how she put the proportions together, the continued the look by mixing prints and patterns. It’s very interesting and fun. The shoes set it off. The jacket brings it down to a reality look without loosing the fashion part of the look.
Wow, it’s so unexpectedly cool. I think, if it weren’t for the shoes, this outfit wouldn’t work. So, can someone please identify those shoes….i want one! ;o)
The shoes transform this entire outfit into high style. Every color in the shoe is reflected in the colors of the outfit. It looks thrown together, but probably this person put a fair bit of thought into this combination.
Nice framing on the photo as well, Sart! Now someone has to come up with an answer of where these shoes are from. I’m going to guess they’re Balenciaga, but they could be from some other modernist/minimalist designer.
Very cute! Love the casually clashing prints and layers. But yes, I agree with everyone else here, it’s the shoes that are making it. Wow, those shoes!
LOVE the jacket-shirt-skirt combo; it’s fresh and charming without being precious or sweet. (Those layered, swooping hems make her legs look reeeeally long, too.) The jury’s still out on the shoes, but they’re definitely interesting, and I love that they’re not made of toothpicks and dental floss.
I love the desinvolture of the outfit. It has un je ne sais quoi: being so wrong…it is right!
check out my blog and comment!!! http://www.exquisissime.blogspot.com
I sure does look great, I love how the lower part has a very feminine (and somewhat 30′s) feel to it and the top is casual and masculine. And oh, those shoes!!!
Am I really the only one who can’t see past the awful, orange fake-tanned legs? I honestly thought she was wearing orange tights on first glance. It completely throws the whole look off for me…
Wow, exceptional style. Seeing alot of old denim jackets again, always nice. And I think your theme of incorporating summer’s dress into early fall is inspired, thanks.
Fantastic. This is real style. Over time she will wreck her feet wearing such heels (I see bare feet all the time in yoga asana) but she looks awesome!
Having lived in Seattle during the 90′s Grunge era, this reminds me of how the alot of the girls dressed, having bought it all at thrift stores. It’s funny how fashion repeats itself…
Sorry but I don’t like the check shirt! The combo doesn’t work for me. Too masculine for the gorgeous dress and shoes. Masculine/feminine can work – just look at Diane Keaton in Annie Hall for a true example. I think a gorgeous fringed scarf of shawl would have worked much better.
I will be rocking something like that quite soon! Those are rocking shoes, but what I am loving the most is the mix of patterns, very Seattle meets Milano!
Plaid, floral and denim… with THOSE shoes! Brilliant!
I must say, when the page loaded, I was confused as to why she chose these three combinations because I hadn’t seen the shoes yet. It interesting how, sometimes, just the right pair of shoes pulls the entire outfit together.
This look is unexpected, but absolutely amazing!
The thing I like most in your photos is that I just need to look at thems to know that they were taken by you!

Love this look! At first glance it seems really hard to pull off, but the hemline of the dress with the shirt tail hem just flow seamlessly. The shoes really pull it all together and give it a more high end feel. Bravo!
Like matching of different patterns like check with floral, really awesome and free style fashion. Last but not the least shoes style and color is eye catching.
