An interesting mix of jackets, different textures but go very well together. Fashionable & fresh like a veritable italian(that’s includes the haircut too :) Very expressive capture!
Beautiful fashion made by Inuit designers. Check it out and spread the word. If you want to stay warm in Canada’s cold winters – look for Northern inspiration!
This look is brilliant. From both jackets to the white pants and helmet…everything is thought out. The puffer jacket is executed perfectly, which is, unfortunately, quite rare.
I like white jeans, they are so versatile. Here with a nice sports jacket, it looks better than with navy jeans. Interesting to have a puffy jacket on top.
Unfortunate silhouette, too narrow at the shoulders, too wide at the hips. Not flattering at all. He’ll look a lot better when he takes the down jacket off, which I assume will be shortly.
Not a huge fan of puffer jackets (although the colour combination here is cool), but I’m really impressed by this gentleman’s face… So expressive and mysterious. He looks like some character in a Stendhal book.
Not loving the puffer jacket here, but I do really like the plaid jacket, blue shirt, white jeans combo. All that aside, though, it’s the character in his face and eyes that makes this shot remarkable.
Interesting that some women have swooned over this man’s handsomeness, his face in particular. But, were it a woman with such heavy scarring on her face, would her image elicit the same responses? Do we have different standards of beauty for women than men in the 21st century?
You certainly can see a lot of maturity on his face. A lot of maturity. Like he likes to tan and not use sunscreen a lot. A LOT. But it is interesting how he manages to make himself obviously attractive to many of the people posting here. I prefer a little less maturity in a guys face. OK. A LOT less. But this shows that good style can definitely create something positive that would not have otherwise been there. Besides, he doesn’t seem like the type that cares if some people, like me, don’t find him all that hot. But for the rest of the guys out there; USE SUNSCREEN. Seriously. Its not only attractive, but healthy to protect the skin.
Huge fan of quilted jackets, perhaps I get it from the horse world. This look is modern before the quilted jacket so adding it on pushes it even further. love, Love, LOVE it!
Waiting for Milan to re claim Fashion Capital of the world from NY… Italianos are so effortlessly chic and way ahead in personal style. Fashion, style trends it’s a way of life for them!
We are compelled to look at his face because we think he has something to reveal. This is because his face is not so ordinary a visage. However, his face is a kind of truth and therefore, it is his truth to reveal – not ours.
I second the remarks of LA lady, and I would go further and point out that on the Sartorialist we see no photos of women with similarly lived-in faces. As I’ve asked before: Why the double standard?
Just terrible! They can’t be all winners. He stands out because he’s playing with textures but somehow the whole outfit makes me think he must live with his mom. The white pants say it’s still summer. The shirt and blazer say he puts some thought into creating a look. The jacket says, “be sure you bundle up, otherwise you’ll catch a cold.” This look is kind of like wearing a parka with flip flops or a scarf with a bathing suit.
I can’t believe people judging this man’s face as the result of being out in the sun too much! It is heavy scarring, probably from bad acne in early life. And of course there are double standards for men and women in terms of beauty in the 21st century: you rarely see grey-haired women anywhere unless they are over 60, but plenty of salt-and-pepper men at any age. Why is it so bad for women to look their age? Aren’t we lucky to get old, i.e. not die young??
I know this guy personally and I can tell you he doesn’t lives with his mother…he’s got 2 beautifull daughters and he’s elegant, kind and charming that’s why his clothes looks great on him. Grande Giampiero!!

He looks great, he’s also someone famous. But as for the comments on his face and scarring: yes he has some old acne scars, but some of those heavy lines are from wearing the motorbike helmet he’s holding and has just taken it off – that happens when you get older, same as wearing sunglasses – when you remove them, you get deep indents on your face!
