I don’t think you can ever have too many polka dots. By the way, does anyone know where the word comes from? Wouldn’t have anything to do with the Bohemian dance, would it?
September 26, 2011 at 9:56 pm
Both are clever looks. The black tunic is especially chic – something I’d definitely wear.
September 26, 2011 at 9:59 pm
I’m not usually a fan of polka dots, but that first image is very clever even though I wouldn’t wear it myself.

The first capture is utterly fascinating, and the blouse in the second capture with the different sizing in dots is super chic.

I think that this is just too much, in Italy we’re used to say: “A pattern should not be repeated, just one piece for every outfit”.

September 27, 2011 at 8:39 am
Great photos! love the top one!
i like this trend very much the Palka dots are great!
September 27, 2011 at 8:45 am
To Frances V.: wikipedia says: “The pattern is named for the dance of the same name, making one suspect there is a connection linking the pattern to the dance. Instead, the name was settled upon merely because of the dance’s popularity at the time the pattern became fashionable. Many other products and fashions of the era also adopted the polka name”
Love polka dots :)
