Adorable – a little flower among the sea of black.
September 25, 2011 at 10:22 am
Love the color of her dress.
September 25, 2011 at 10:24 am
nice dress:) but i think, she need a highheels, not chucks…
September 25, 2011 at 10:40 am
Great color combo. Love the sheen of her dress.
September 25, 2011 at 10:42 am
Is that David Byrne in the background?

So retro chic! The blue and pink make such a darling combination.
Very playful! Love the collar.
September 25, 2011 at 10:47 am
She looks lovely !
September 25, 2011 at 10:49 am
She seems an old woman….
I like the pink and blue color combination but I’m not so sure I like the high top Chucks
worn with that dress
September 25, 2011 at 10:55 am
those shoes killed an otherwise beautiful outfit. Love her smile.
September 25, 2011 at 10:56 am
Such a nice and pretty outfit!
The converse shoes with this girlish outfit, it’s sublime!

I agree – this outfit is MUCH better for the addition of the converse!
September 25, 2011 at 11:02 am
Love the look …everything else around looks bland..lol
September 25, 2011 at 11:25 am
She’s hiding her height (see women on the same plane) or giving her poor feet a holiday. Either way she can do no wrong, she a presence to be reckoned with.
September 25, 2011 at 11:31 am
i can not help but believe that inside her purse is a pair of shorts or jeans along with a blouse and back home in her closet is a pair of beige or brown shoes she forgot to place in said purse!
September 25, 2011 at 11:59 am
OOOOOOOOOOOH London! I love living in this city…everyone can wear whatever they want and look great! I agree with july about the shoes :-(
Elizabeth Taylor jewellery @ Christies on my blog!!!

She is very cute and natural like a fresh schoolgirl, i also like the man behind her, he has style ;)

September 25, 2011 at 12:19 pm
I don’t like it so much (i don’t like sweater) and she should wear shorter dress with chucks or that dress and lower chucks, ballerinas, sandals or heels.
September 25, 2011 at 12:20 pm
Normally I don’t like pink and blue as a color combination, but here it works. It’s not too sweet. The chucks make it look a little clunky but less sweet too.
September 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm
oh, i like that.
September 25, 2011 at 12:34 pm
I really would like some kind of sophistication added somewhere, somehow…polished hair, better fitting dress, “real” shoes?
September 25, 2011 at 12:37 pm
i really like how the shoes look.
September 25, 2011 at 12:45 pm
Love London Fashion, Swedish fashion is quite different from it, but has some of the same underlying themes, check out my blog for Stockholm Street Fashion:

Sasha again! you made a dazzling photo of her last year, it’s still my favourite street fashion portrait ever.

Really cute! I’m a big dan of librarian/bookstore girl chic.
September 25, 2011 at 1:10 pm
I love it when people are brave enough to wear color when everyone else is wearing black and gray.
September 25, 2011 at 1:59 pm
love that you captured David in the background
cute girl, cuter smile
September 25, 2011 at 2:12 pm
The shape of the dress is very matronly and not flattering on her body. However, the colors are stunning!
September 25, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Hi!Could i talk about the nearest’s shoes!
The life after
September 25, 2011 at 2:48 pm
I’m going to London next month and I’m so excited to see this city again. I love it!!
September 25, 2011 at 3:03 pm
beautiful blue dress)
September 25, 2011 at 3:17 pm
The dress could be a little tighter, but this outfit is so adorable!
September 25, 2011 at 3:56 pm
I love this! It makes me think of London in the 40′s, the country cousin that comes to visit the city relatives. Switch out the chucks for wedgies and it would be a perfect period piece.
September 25, 2011 at 4:29 pm
Love the Look! so cute! and that blue with that pink great combination!
so confortable look!
September 25, 2011 at 4:38 pm
Don’t like this look on her. It makes her legs look cut off, when she actually has nice legs.
September 25, 2011 at 5:04 pm
I love this–color, the look of comfort, originality! A++
September 25, 2011 at 5:08 pm
Lovely colour combination!
September 25, 2011 at 5:23 pm
Oooooh, I know where this one is from (I was there at the time – photos on my blog)! The Burberry Prorsum SS12 show from London Fashion Week in Kensington.
I love her outfit. The pink cardigan over the vintage style dress certainly stood out from the sea of suits and trench coats! :]
September 25, 2011 at 5:33 pm
She looks cute and simple!
September 25, 2011 at 5:37 pm
She’s cute as a button. While I’m not opposed to sneakers with dresses in general … I don’t think it’s the best fit here.
September 25, 2011 at 5:54 pm
What a terrific photo–she’s the color in a black and white world.
(Her champagne flute introduces a tantalizing hint of a story. What is she doing with it in the street??)
September 25, 2011 at 6:00 pm
that cornflower blue is gorgeous!
September 25, 2011 at 6:33 pm
September 25, 2011 at 7:49 pm
I feel that the background fellow’s name is Hamish.
September 25, 2011 at 7:51 pm
She is like a character in a story for kids…. lovely.
September 25, 2011 at 10:00 pm
how cute is she?!
loving ken downing in the background!
September 25, 2011 at 10:08 pm
great colours, but a bit grandma?? love the cons
September 25, 2011 at 11:53 pm
I think that is Ken Downing from Neiman Marcus behind her not David Byrne.
September 26, 2011 at 12:22 am
Sorry, but this look has gotten so trite. Wearing Chucks with a dress has been done to death as has women dressing in clothing more appropriate for girls. Plus she is obviously under-dressed for the party she is attending, which is also so tired not to mention just disrespectful.
September 26, 2011 at 1:20 am
The man in the background isn’t David Byrne: it’s Ken Downing of Neiman Marcus, senior VP and Fashion Director.
September 26, 2011 at 1:34 am
Ballerinas would have worked with the dress or maybe kitten heel slip ons..
September 26, 2011 at 3:09 am
she’s so whimsical — a stark contrast form the uppity prat behind her. seriously he seems pretty awful.
September 26, 2011 at 3:16 am
Very nice dress :)
September 26, 2011 at 3:36 am
Well, thank you Scott! And yes, all the above is right: heels would have probably worked better for The Sartorialist, BUT – I couldn’t wear anything but Converse (Scott, you know the reason, I told you)
I felt like a village nurse running away on her break to see that Burberry show!
September 26, 2011 at 6:00 am
Nothing works here – colour is wrong, shoes are wrong, very unflattering look on a pretty girl
September 26, 2011 at 8:24 am
Is it Chris Waitt wife?
September 26, 2011 at 9:02 am
There is something incredibly sexy about this woman. Not sure if it is the Chuck Taylors with the beautiful blue dress or her incredible legs. Whatever it is I love the look.
September 26, 2011 at 11:20 am
Maybe if she would swap the high top Converse for a slip-on (Vans or All-Stars) in a darker blue upper, I think it would work much better. Either that or go with a ballet flat and be done with it.

September 26, 2011 at 11:40 am
Love the chuck taylors….!
September 26, 2011 at 1:39 pm
this is her fourth(or third?) time to be on this website!
love her so much, a beautiful girl.
she is Alexandra Boyarskaya!!!
September 26, 2011 at 1:42 pm
to Jane Anderson,
yes, she’s Chris Waitt’s wife!
September 27, 2011 at 12:00 am
She looks adorable and refreshing. Its the simplest combinations that make the strongest impact, and this look proves it. If I was a guy she just looks like the coolest, most approachable person there. Somehow she has a damsel in distress kind of thing going. Like I can see most guys doing whatever she asked. Well done.
September 27, 2011 at 2:47 am
I think I also too her pic and she held a drink… It was early and she posed for my pic, very ladylike with coffee…
September 27, 2011 at 12:21 pm
Sasha Boyarskaya looks very fresh like always!
September 27, 2011 at 12:44 pm
While I’m not so crazy about this outfit on a grown woman in a professional setting, I am over-the-moon about this as a photograph. For me the success and delight of this shot comes with the contrast between the subject and her surroundings. She’s surrounded by super-serious power-dressers in fitted suits and uncomfortable shoes. And there she is, comfortable and joyful in the moment. She may as well be standing in a field of daisies.
September 28, 2011 at 12:10 pm
Can we say a baby Garance!!! She’s a cutey!

October 2, 2011 at 12:14 pm
Love the colour combination! :D
October 8, 2011 at 2:21 pm
I love how she just stands out with those colours among everyone in their neutral corporate colours!
