Scary yet gorgeously, wait.. is that patterns or stripes? I’m confused! Classy and very recommended to you and I, the whole entire human race. Thank You.
i could not help myself, but looking at the first picture, i saw the hairy no-face creature from Adams Family….i do not necessarily mean it as bad thing…it just came to my mind :)
The first photo is super pretty. the second is great for the bag. i know people are supposed tp like teeny ladylike bags now, but theres just no room in them.
Love the coat, the hair and the shoes in the first picture. The whole look is stunning, elegant, yet kind of edgy and unusual in the shape and proportions.
I love your blog very much because your pictures are like the mirror of my personal experience. This is funny! I’d like you to check my blog. Have a good day Frances http://www.theafternoontea.it
So nice to see a slick Hermes actually being used as a portable dumping ground for all the necessary excess print one collects from LFW. Ahem, rather than an oversized arm candy bracelet bag.
That cape is one of the most fabulous capes i have seen in a long time – and i love the styling – the flat brown brogues – her gorgeous undone hair – stunning x
love the first photo with the dark grey back drop … the b/w check cape is overwhelming though … great style in the second photo would love to see the whole look …
I like how in the second shot, it takes a second to tell which way the individual is actually facing…and then you take another look just to make sure, but you’re never really quite sure.
i love plaids..i have got myself a couple of plaids..and i am so happy with the trends emerging this season beacause some of them are my favourite styles.
I am constantly and consistently disappointed in the Sartorialist’s lack of time for London. Of course, I do understand that you are busy and are naturally going to spend more time shooting people in NY, however, considering that you were just as present at LFW as you were at NYFW, MFW and PFW, you have not done the great city of London justice in these few photos.
London has something very special when it comes to style. It is different to everybody else. East/North London girls somehow make scruffy look amazing, and the Western Londoners do polished chic just as convincingly as Paris or Milan. But of course, it is all about this completely English eccentricity that is just so enigmatic and different about the place. People aren’t scared to be weird, in fact, it is celebrated. People aren’t scared to mix a Balenciaga bag with a skirt that cost them £3 from Oxfam. And of course, and most importantly, London people are absolute aficionados and experts of the art of layering, where we have become such experts through our ever-changing and unpredicatable weather. God bless the unpredictable weather!
As i previously mentioned, I think it is an absolute travesty that London is ‘brushed over’ on this website. Can you truly tell me that in the entirety of LFW you only got 4 worthy shots? If anyone wants to see a great spectrum of London style from fashion week, please go to http://www.facehunter.blogspot.com, or Vogue.co.uk, where you will find London style done justice.
Not to sound like a complete Judas, I do adore this blog and it is one of the 5 or 6 that I check on a daily or near-daily basis. And as an avid supporter and follower, I would think it in my interests to bring this to your attention and to hope that London receives the recognition it deserves in the future.
Is it silly that the first picture immediately reminded me of Jenny Weasley from Harry Potter with her long red hair, gorgeous cloak, and classic Oxford prep shoes? Just lovely. I really enjoyed it.
