It’s got to be difficult to stand like that.. interesting..
September 21, 2011 at 3:12 pm
beautiful mustard, though the skirt looks like the accessory he should’ve removed before leaving the house a la Coco Chanel.
Wow! What a fusion of styles. The yellow looks amazing.

This is not my type of look, but it looks graceful on him. Love the mustard blazer and his mysterious look.

Interesting outfit, the skirt and 80′ yelow jacket it’s a fantastic combination. But the skirt it’s the burden of compozition. Bravo mr. Scott!

i love the color combo but wish it wasn’t so dragged down below his knee.
September 21, 2011 at 3:55 pm
i love the yellow mustrad blazer, but the denim pants “broke” the skirt.

What an interesting combination! Gotta love the mustard blazer!

One of the few shots on here that just doesn’t do anything for me.

Not a fan of the yellow but what a great look. So bohemian and yet so chic.

Skirt for Men is always a pleasure to see it even when we think about it out from the catwalk we believe that it will be so ugly to wear… NICE !!
September 21, 2011 at 5:29 pm
That blazer is such a fresh color and cut! Love how he wore it! I can’t wait for FW Paris!
September 21, 2011 at 5:48 pm
While I typically think it’s great to see men in skirts, I feel that this one detracts from his outfit. There’s a lot going on!

Love the bold jacket and am intrigued as to why he’s standing like that…a form of artwork in itself, what a pro!
September 21, 2011 at 6:03 pm
Very London. I’m loving it!
September 21, 2011 at 6:12 pm
Mustard gold caramel chocolate–nothing better in combination. Jeans white and Docs just add the staple. Looove him!
September 21, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Those are some brave bold layers!
September 21, 2011 at 6:37 pm
In love with the awkwardness!! ANd the mustard oversized blazer. Love it!
September 21, 2011 at 6:40 pm
Mustard / Toblerone / Saffron, the it color we will have to master for the winter.
Very interesting outfit, elegant with ethnic chic vibes. The proportions are a real statement!

This style is too much strange for me but the match of the colours is nice

Apparently, the only way a man can look good in an unbuttoned double breasted blazer is by wearing a skirt.

Oh I absolutely love the colors, the layering and the fabulous hair cut! I never thought anything longer than mid-thigh with jeans could work before I saw this. Now, in rare cases, I think it can be pulled off.
September 21, 2011 at 10:47 pm
I think he was inspired by the proportion of how men in Indonesia (also most of Southeast Asia) wear the sarung. Like in this photo http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/cd/Sarungan.jpg/225px-Sarungan.jpg Cultural reference aside, this is a unique and fantastic look for fall.

Im living for this look! unique, obscure, elegant!

That hair… *sigh*
@ M. da Chump–your comment made me laugh out loud (as in really laughing out loud and startling the cat, not “LOL”ing, which, it seems, has little to do with actually expressing amusement). Thanks for the chuckle.

Nice look but bad proportions!
September 22, 2011 at 5:53 am
Love the oversized yellow mustard jacket, right on trend!
September 22, 2011 at 6:04 am
Wow! I didn’t think the color mustard on blazers will be making a stylish comeback.

I love this color.. mustard .. its wonderful!

Impress with his brave on playing with layers. Love the mustard color. However, the whole look doesn’t enhance his beauty. It is more like clothes wears man instead of man wears clothes.
September 22, 2011 at 7:46 am
Love the style!
The skirt is beautiful and goes well with the rest of outfit.
September 22, 2011 at 8:22 am
I think the mix of pattern, texture, color and proportion here is just great – he’s nailed a look that could read kooky but instead reads artful and interesting.

Strong personality and cool way to wear.

Who’s he talking to? What’s he doing later? You think about all that when you see this pic. Lifestyle image!

you look fantastic and amazing. i love it…

I hope I’m remembering this correctly, but anyone over the age of 45 might remember David Bowie performing Boys Keep Swinging with Klaus Nomi on SNL in 1979. Bowie wore a big-shouldered tweedy suit with pencil skirt. Seeing it on him then, I was certain that within two years we’d see men going to meetings on Madison Avenue in pencil skirts. Not so. Still, it works on this guy.

Why are so many people ( especially ones who watch this site ), freaked out by a man wearing a skirt ? He looks great, what is the problem ?
Jealousy , maybe…..or insecurity ….?
September 24, 2011 at 7:11 am
I just love the color.. its wonderful!
September 24, 2011 at 12:13 pm
A bit too much.. .. no opposition to any one element but to all the elements together.
Too self-conscious.. it ruins it when you realize someone thought this much abt how to put himself together.
Interesting -yes, Good -no
September 24, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Tanuki: I doubt it jealousy or insecurity that people are freaked about a man wearing a skirt. But a skirt over jeans? Nooooo.
Love the outfit without the skirt. Or without the jeans. Something about it says “trying to hard”. But I love what he’s trying to do, here, and it’s very fashion-forward.
September 26, 2011 at 9:42 pm
Lizpr – nothing to add. Skirts for men YES but no jeans or jeans without skirts.
Interesting to see that in London. Love it.
October 3, 2011 at 2:29 am
it looks amazing!!! i love the color and the socks and the roll up. let alone the skirt
October 8, 2011 at 9:35 am
Albeit the outfit is exhibits a delightful colour spectrum I find the outfit too grandiose however I do give the gentleman kudos for dabbling or sampling in so many styles and ages and his confidence.

Why the redesign? I’m going to stop coming in here because it’s not fun to scroll past all the comments to click to load another page with every style image. Scrolling is the easiest, why mess with that?
