Love the expression and the boldness. The geometrical forms go very well…!!

I love this red dress!
September 17, 2011 at 3:28 pm
wow such a bold, colourful jumper! so amazing!
September 17, 2011 at 3:36 pm
Amazing colors! I love her sunglasses :)
September 17, 2011 at 3:40 pm
I love it how everything in this look looks so wrong that it makes it totally right! Love the bright colors and the sunglasses and there is something really playful about her smile :)
September 17, 2011 at 3:50 pm
Love the color and color blocking, the belt, the bag…the shoes–not so much. Maybe I was expecting a more glamorous shoe. Overall though, quite good.
September 17, 2011 at 3:54 pm
Gorge-aaaaasss! Love that clutch she’s carrying.
September 17, 2011 at 3:55 pm
Love the contrast!
September 17, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Her jumper would have looked smart and sophisticated with hills.I love it though
September 17, 2011 at 4:05 pm
…lovely contrast of colors. I like the way the blue cuffs fall perfectly above her elbows. Also worth noticing is her (makeshift?) belt. The way the knot looks careless (asymmetric, imperfect) brings a certain laid back feel to her look as if she just picked it up and put it on ( she might have actually).

Wow, beautiful lady in red!

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
September 17, 2011 at 4:22 pm
I love everything about it!
September 17, 2011 at 4:24 pm
The contrasting turquoise and red are a nice surprise for fall fashion – definitely brightens up the street.
September 17, 2011 at 4:26 pm
She seems to me a strong, no-nonsense kind of woman and she expresses that by her rather severe dress and shoes but the bold colours make her eyecatching and almost glamourous, also by the sunglasses. The shoes and the belt match perfectly. Yes I like it very much.
Greetings from Amsterdam.
September 17, 2011 at 4:29 pm
The colors are greeeaaat !
September 17, 2011 at 4:30 pm
SHe is beautiful but… the Shoes are dreadful! They ruin an otherwise interesting dress and beautiful woman.

September 17, 2011 at 9:35 pm
Wow! This dress is lovely…great color blocking!
September 17, 2011 at 9:46 pm
This outfit strikes me as photogenic …. ie, I’d see it, imagine it photographs well, and, as a photographer, I’d shoot it …. but in person, I’d kinda wonder about the mechanic/Formula One wheel-changer thing going on with this dress.
But I like the fashion risk associated with this outfit.

I like the color blocking in this woman’s dress, too. It has a kind of Mondrian vibe to it.
September 17, 2011 at 10:05 pm
Great colors. Love the color blocking this season. So cheery for Fall.
September 17, 2011 at 10:27 pm
Terrific! And the way her accessories – belt, bag, shoes – don’t 100% work with the dress make it brilliant!
September 17, 2011 at 10:31 pm
Love the color blocking on the dress of course, but it is the strong stride and the confident lip color which make this look a true winner.
September 17, 2011 at 10:46 pm
At first I though it was a straight-leg romper and didn’t like it. But as a dress it’s quite cute.
And I love that she has big dark eyebrows and they show above her glasses. I’m self-conscious of my eyebrows, but she makes me want to be proud.

This is what my generation called a ‘shirtwaist.’ It’s a timeless classic, with varying collar, sleeve length, skirt length & fullness. One thing I like about this is that any age woman can wear it & make it her own. I would have tried navy sandals with this, but I love the ones she’s wearing.
Thanks for sharing another great photo.

Wow – what an amazing color combo. I love the brights! I just moved from SF to Paris, and less people wear bright colors here. I thought it would be the opposite.

A dress with simple cuts and color forming asymmetries game is perfect!
Reminds me of a Spanish designer called David Delfin, his Cibeles fashion show in color was playing a game with the sobriety of its style so famous

BEAUTIFUL! I ADORE!
September 19, 2011 at 1:11 pm
I think everyone has those dresses in their closet where you may not have the exact accessories to work perfectly with it– so tying it together with the belt, shoes and bag makes it work pretty well.
September 20, 2011 at 10:37 am
To me this is summer city girl perfection. Very stylish, ladylike enough to attend any meeting and wedge heels to get a girl through the most grueling of days and still have a smile for drinks after work. Bella!

Bogart & Moore Vintage
September 23, 2011 at 4:22 pm
This dress IS VINTAGE indeed!! It is a stunning piece that came from Bogart & Moore Vintage, my shop in Bushwick. The silk on this dress is divine and the colors as vibrant as they appear in the photos. I developed an obsession for silk this summer and this dress is one of my all time favorites. I love the way she styles it here and so proud to see it rocked on the streets with such ease and glamour! STUNNING!
September 25, 2011 at 4:05 am
Love it! Very stylish.
