Even though hes not a knick we still enjoy Lebron.
Like all four of the looks but no.4 is probably better suited to a younger guy like him. For some reason those plastic beads remind of some kind of toy in my past; but I can’t remember what it would have been.
September 14, 2011 at 4:11 pm
Four very different, but equally striking and wonderful looks. You could probably use these images as thumbnails for a site on men’s fashion.
September 14, 2011 at 4:36 pm
What a group! They all look interesting. In a good way. In fact everyone of them looks great.
September 14, 2011 at 4:39 pm
I love love the first photo. Amazing style
September 14, 2011 at 4:49 pm

September 14, 2011 at 4:53 pm
I’m surprised LeBron isn’t wearing a choker.
September 14, 2011 at 4:59 pm
I love these looks!
September 14, 2011 at 5:04 pm
I love the burgundy hat and in the last pic you’ve got to love the man necklace and the crazy sunglasses!!! :-)
September 14, 2011 at 5:22 pm
Hah, it’s BryanBoy on a toned-down day…
a b/w check blazer is so cool with brown hat & bluejeans… wonder what shoes he is wearing… very adorable man…

September 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Looking good! Great photos!
September 14, 2011 at 6:54 pm
The last look is so chic, unique and elegantly bohemian. Love love his belt.
September 14, 2011 at 6:57 pm
Love Bryanboy’s tribal looking necklaces. Adds a great pop of color.

Nice jacket. Fall Season: Sportcoat time!
September 14, 2011 at 10:21 pm
There are not enough good things to be said about hound’s tooth.
I love the necklaces/beadwork in the bottom photo.
September 14, 2011 at 10:23 pm
Actually, I wonder what the necklaces mean? The pattern made and the color of the beads actually have some significance. It’s like a language.
September 14, 2011 at 11:10 pm
Mr. James is a physically beautiful man….
September 14, 2011 at 11:36 pm
Anyone know anything about Bryanboy’s pants? They’re lovely…

Brian Boy’s neck party rocks!
September 14, 2011 at 11:40 pm
What are the rounded seed bead necklaces worn in the last photo called?
September 15, 2011 at 12:33 am
Who makes the shirt Lebron’s wearing…anyone?
September 15, 2011 at 1:57 am
I’m assuming that Bryanboy got his beaded necklaces from South Africa (he was here about a week/2 ago). Its so interesting to juxtapose traditional ethnic items with a classic highly westernized look…

The grouping of these photos is terrific–it somehow brings out the best in each individual look. I also like the way that the same or similar elements (deep blue, white shirts) are used differently by each man. The montage is like a little lesson on individual style!
September 15, 2011 at 3:08 am
They guys (men) look great! Love the hat of number one!
September 15, 2011 at 4:21 am
What fun! ‘Reads’ like a dishy, fun fashion novel….with total surprise ending.

He never dissappoints.

This should not say .. but I just love!
Black man, very tall, very strong and very handsome, what have you seen?
I love the preppy style in a man is a total de-contextualization.
September 15, 2011 at 8:22 am
I am certain they are not but Mara Hoffman does necklaces much like these for Spring 2012. The fat version of the friendship necklace.
September 15, 2011 at 10:51 am
Original sunglasses and necklace !
September 15, 2011 at 11:06 am
Those necklaces are uber-hot.
September 15, 2011 at 11:43 am
Lebron is wearing pleated khakis with a ‘jr high’ henley type of sweater over a white button up…gross.
September 15, 2011 at 11:52 am
For those asking, Lebron James is wearing a Michael Bastian henley – that’s his logo on the chest.
September 15, 2011 at 12:36 pm
The first one inspires me, specially the hat!

I love the first jacket. That black & white reminds me my childhood and one of my favorite chocolate (Frigor)
September 15, 2011 at 1:35 pm
Christine, I think the necklaces are made by the Ndebele people in the southern part of Africa (maybe even South Africa?).
September 15, 2011 at 1:42 pm
Love them all but the 1st look is really fantastic…perfect balance of casual but dressy.
September 15, 2011 at 2:32 pm
Absolutely debonair – all of them!
cheap engagement rings
September 15, 2011 at 3:46 pm
Love the hat…. very cool.
September 15, 2011 at 3:57 pm
@pammie Taj yes the necklaces are South African and Ndebele – good spotting :) I love it when traditions collide!
September 15, 2011 at 7:46 pm
Lebron James looks very good
September 15, 2011 at 10:22 pm
I love the Ndebele necklaces in the last shot. I have a similar bracelet and despite all of the colors it looks good with everything! :)

this is the fisrt time i visit sartorialist. I found it very impressive, not only because of the styles you capture, but also because of the picture quality. you have a gift!
The only thing that makes me sad is seeing that most part of your pictures I see people smoking.. I respect the decision of each one. But unconsciously these pictures make a conection between cigarrette and being fashion..
I was just wondering about it and decided to share with you.
Luv and respect
September 16, 2011 at 3:12 pm
Mr Schaefer looking as sharp as ever in photo #2. I have always found that while maintaining his clean style, he often changes his look with his hair and beard. I’m liking it here.
September 16, 2011 at 4:45 pm
All of these guys look fresh, love these pictures, inspirational!
September 18, 2011 at 10:55 am
I have a Jacket, lookin exactly like the one on the first guy! It suits him perfectly. Love it!
September 19, 2011 at 9:58 am
Lebron is making me reconsider my stance on pleated pants…
September 22, 2011 at 5:24 am
The first B&W check jacket.. I have that but truth be told I never thought of wearing it that way… I should try it. thank you..
September 23, 2011 at 12:42 pm
The necklaces are either Ndebele (South Africa) or Massai (Kenya). I have one in blue with a matching cuff I wear all the time. I got it years ago in Green Market Square, Capetown .
September 23, 2011 at 3:06 pm
Love the montage of different types of men. All of them are fly in their own way. Lovely shots

This first gentleman with the hat… I like this look very much, but can’t totally wrap my head around without seeing it full length. I assume brown shoes?
