Amazinig! Especially, greencombined with enamel handbag

She looks like a human cross-word puzzle……or those new barcodes that smartphones can access. Pretty lady – weird pants.

Love her nails and her clutch!
September 8, 2011 at 3:48 pm
isn’t it still sweltering in NYC? judging by the lookers on it’s still short pants and short sleeves weather….that makes this outfit a bit crazy. and crazy trumps cute right now in an economy of necessities.
September 8, 2011 at 3:50 pm
Where are these pants from?? Fantastic fit, love the length! Goodbye skinny jeans, welcome back trousers!
September 8, 2011 at 3:51 pm
I really love this look!
Yeeah fashion weeks started!
DIARY OF A FASHION STYLIST…
I love the pattern mix, as well as this beautiful lady…
Again a brilliant shot!
September 8, 2011 at 3:57 pm
the blue nail polish and green clutch add just enough color to what she’s wearing
September 8, 2011 at 4:02 pm
So sad I’m not there for fashion week, it looks amazing!! Her outfit is quite unique, I appreciate the bold statement of mixing prints and her use of proportion. Very well assembled, although not entirely attractive.
September 8, 2011 at 4:04 pm
Love her!!!She’s so beautiful & stylish!!
September 8, 2011 at 4:10 pm
Sorry, but that’s down right seizure inducing.
September 8, 2011 at 4:11 pm
I absolutely love this one. It has something new and fresh. It could be way too much and probably cause seizures to some people and headache to others, but still it blows my mind.

September 8, 2011 at 4:23 pm
love mixed prints! looks fab
September 8, 2011 at 4:24 pm
I love the top. I love the pants. But not together. This fascinates me: fashion rules are definitely meant to be broken. These rules serve the beginners; true fashion virtuosi can do what they want. So I know she’s stylish and I appreciate this ensemble, without personally liking it. I remember when tights were combined with open peep-toe shoes; I was horrified. But I wound up liking the look.
So I love seeing patterns combined to great effect. Here the patterns are too similar and has an “I’m seeing spots” effect, leading to a migraine. But I love the bold red lip, the little clutch, and electric blue toenails peeking from underneath the pants!
September 8, 2011 at 4:26 pm
I love everything about this! Great patterns. So pretty!!
September 8, 2011 at 4:52 pm
what a mix! her nails are amazing!
September 8, 2011 at 4:55 pm
OP-art and Twiggy 2011.
And a WOW! For the greekblue finger and toe nails!
I dream about being a swede in NY. :)
Relaxed cool picture. Very likeable.
September 8, 2011 at 5:02 pm
What a way to start. She looks divine.
Love from Norway
September 8, 2011 at 5:04 pm
Love the clutch!
September 8, 2011 at 5:09 pm
This dazzled me, literally. I think there is a perfect balance here. The patterns on the top is ‘heavier’ than those of the pants, the monochrome effect with a touch of green. Noticed the nail polish. Nice!!
Its the ease of the fit, the matching (yet note) graphic pattern and then the pop of colour in the clutch, nails and lipstick against the undone easy hair – i just want to look at her – love it x
September 8, 2011 at 5:11 pm
Wow, I’m in love with this outfit!!
September 8, 2011 at 5:13 pm
I just love the mix of prints! Grey and white can be as fun to mix as any bold colors!
September 8, 2011 at 5:24 pm
woah! I really like the contrast betwen nails/bag/lips/outfit
September 8, 2011 at 5:29 pm
After so many seasons of the skinny pant it is nice to see a different proportion. I know that mixing patterns may not be for everyone but here I think it is divine!
September 8, 2011 at 5:31 pm
Excellent outfit!)love all in it!especially green clutch & pants!)

September 8, 2011 at 5:51 pm
Amazing! I love the clash of textures and soft geometric prints! So excited it’s this time of year again! Bring it on! xx
September 8, 2011 at 5:54 pm
I’ve been looking at this picture several times today. I love the top and the trousers but, indeed, not together. They distract the eyes from her beautiful face. Still it has something special.
Greetings from Amsterdam

September 8, 2011 at 6:02 pm

September 8, 2011 at 6:11 pm
love the look ….. but it’s still so HOT!!
September 8, 2011 at 6:14 pm
I love the 2 different black and white prints – they go so well together! and of course the essential piece: an emerald clutch – fantastic!
September 8, 2011 at 6:18 pm
I love that EDIE PARKER clutch that she is wearing! and I love fashion week! Who is that?
September 8, 2011 at 6:23 pm
Lovin’ it. Crazy busy in pattern but it all meshes together. I’ll be looking for similar prints to do something similar. The little bag is making it all work for me, nice touch.
September 8, 2011 at 6:32 pm
What a beautiful shot! I love her brilliant mixing of prints!

What an amazing outfit! The black and white patterns work so very well together!
September 8, 2011 at 8:01 pm
So much texture, definitely love how this is being pulled off. Great pieces!
September 8, 2011 at 8:02 pm
I love that this pattern really becomes a texture and play on scale when paired together.
September 8, 2011 at 8:21 pm
Chic!! I love it!
September 8, 2011 at 8:50 pm
i was there but did not get the pleasure of seeing you in action. the clutch is my favorite part and the red lips.
September 8, 2011 at 9:07 pm
different. love the cut of the pants. to me this works because she is so beautiful and classy.. the red lips and green purse apsloutley make it. overall nice.
September 8, 2011 at 9:14 pm
I love this look!!! Outfit inspiration! :D

It’s Preetma Singh :)
September 8, 2011 at 9:43 pm
I love the blue toenails. In general the colors are terrific, but both the top and the pants look a bit bulky. I would wear one or the other. I think one would need to be an Amazon to carry off that much fabric.
September 8, 2011 at 9:44 pm
Her style is great!
I invite you to know / read my blog: http://amalalocamente.blogspot.com/
September 8, 2011 at 9:59 pm
oh god–this is fantastic. The combination of a geometric graphic and an almost tweed graphic pattern in the trouser is genius! She has found the perfect connection there and the clutch and polish is the crowning glory. Love it!
September 8, 2011 at 10:12 pm
Those pants are killing it! I want to wear those everyday. They look so comfy!

September 8, 2011 at 10:46 pm
Her mixture of prints has me spellbound. Adore the splashes of blue her chic clutch and nail lacquer bring.
September 8, 2011 at 11:11 pm
I love the outfit. The clutch and sweater are especially good, and of course the mixing of pattern and texture. To the person complaining that you think this girl is wearing too warm clothing; What is it with the weather police on this blog? How do you know she doesn’t stay in a very cold air conditioned office? How can YOU be the judge of what makes another person comfortable?? Its far more crazy to assume you know how a person feels, and where she spends her time and what temperature that place is. As for economy, its going to get colder, so I doubt that she is wasting money by going with things meant for fall/winter.
I love wide legged pants like that, the only thing I always wonder; Is there any really good way to wear them besides with high heels?
September 8, 2011 at 11:35 pm
A very op-art kind of feel to this outfit. Interesting contrast between the top and the pants.
September 8, 2011 at 11:55 pm
I like this, the mix of patterns, and I agree that mixing patterns is an art form, not for the faint hearted. This has a lot of gusto to it, which I appreciate after the colors of summer. Somehow it seems right to have prints right now which are black and white.
September 9, 2011 at 12:04 am
Love the look! She is bound to turn heads wherever she goes.
September 9, 2011 at 12:26 am
The fact that her nail polish is the same on her hands and her feet seems significant- (for this outfit).
September 9, 2011 at 12:34 am
chic mix of prints!
September 9, 2011 at 12:47 am
I wouldn’t ever think this combination of prints and patterns would ever work, but it looks great on her~!
September 9, 2011 at 1:49 am
Oh my, if I’ll visit New York some day it should definetely be during fashion week. How great is she!?
September 9, 2011 at 2:01 am
i also love the fit of the pants
September 9, 2011 at 2:02 am
absolutely mrs k
September 9, 2011 at 2:18 am
and it could not be a better one! i am not easily in awe, or i am not easily going to say: this is perfect from head to toe! but this is! how perfect can a styling be! the clash is insane, but the shape of the pants emphasizes this gorgeous creation. the cut of the sweater is one of the most phenomenal i have ever seen, it is beyond perfect. and yes, the cherry, that little clutch! the strips, the shape, the color! oh oh oh, i cannot stop staring. i don’t take easily something as an inspiration! but this is a look i just have to copy!

September 9, 2011 at 2:38 am
So very much my style, from head to toes love it !
September 9, 2011 at 2:49 am
I LOVE the seemingly mismatched and crazy combination of all the patterns, textures, and colors! And that clutch? It’s such an unexpected pop of color but it works so well together with the prints! Upon first glance it seems a little intimidating almost, but when you look again it just works so well! So great!

WOWOWOW, she looks amazing!!

So whence this rage for hiding the fact that women have an actual anatomy? Are we going to go back to covering the curvy legs of our dinner tables? Or shall we all move to Iran.
Lovely girl. The photo is all about the color zing of her clutch.

This is definitely a bold look. Although her she mixes the prints rather well, those pants seem to over take the outfit – yet she pulls it off. I think it definitely has to do with her confidence and beautiful face.

Beautiful and very elegant.
September 10, 2011 at 3:24 am
Like the purse, lady is gorgeous, but hate the outfit.
It, like, melts into the picture, so the focal points of beauty are the purse and the face.
September 10, 2011 at 5:48 am
This is a great look, but I’ve always loved Preetma’s blog, so it’s not really a surprise, I guess.
September 10, 2011 at 8:04 am
Beautiful!!! the look is stunning.
September 10, 2011 at 10:17 am
Her outfit: Amazing! That clutch: I want it!
She wears these piece so well! Normally, I wouldn’t go for such an extreme pattern, but she’s convinced me that it can work. (now that I’ve seen what I like put together).
Her clutch and nails are are a great idea.

She is an attractive girl with an interesting style. However, I think this ensemble is too much. If she had paired the top with a pair or solid black pants w/ are more form fitting to her, I think she would have looked even better.

Love the different patterns and splash of colour!
September 11, 2011 at 10:36 am
Phenomenal. Bold, beautiful choices, but I’m a sucker for interesting print. And Thursday wasn’t that hot (I wore a jacket) so a light, breezy sweater seems fitting. @mikey t, pairing the top with black form-fitting pants would make this so boring. It’s perfect as is. Dries van Noten is one of my fav designers, and I’ve never seen it composed this amazingly.

I love the variety of looks you post! Not just the big name fashionistas like other blogs, but everyday chic women and men, who really know how to dress well.
This is a great every day look and I like the textures, in grey with the pop of color in the blue striped bag. Her look seems effortless, though takes a good eye to do so.
