August 2, 2011 at 5:16 pm
I like this, it’s bold!
And that is all I am saying.
August 2, 2011 at 5:18 pm
Love it. His shoes are awesome too!
August 2, 2011 at 5:19 pm
AMAZING. i love it. Its bold and colourful.
August 2, 2011 at 5:42 pm
Like major wow factor… men’s wear is so fricken boring that this mobyesque modern day jester is a revelation. One could mainstream this style by wearing the jacket open with a baseball hat… i’d go for hip hop flair as opposed to star trek the next generation/sprockets..um… you go girl!
Love the shoes…

Lo que más me gusta de todo es la fotografía.
August 2, 2011 at 6:52 pm
hard to match anything with this suit or maybe just about everything matches with it.
August 2, 2011 at 7:10 pm
Not sure if I like this. The look may be better with different sneakers…
August 2, 2011 at 7:13 pm
With the buttons, narrow silhouette, bald head and hand gesture, he resembles a young Nosferatu about town:
August 2, 2011 at 7:49 pm
hmmmmm…. not sure about this one. but kudos to this guy for totally owning it!
August 2, 2011 at 8:01 pm
(i know, i know, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it,” but i thought it was important to present a dissenting opinion. this is a horrid outfit with no redeeming qualities. he is a complete fashion victim and i pity him. i agree with our spanish-speaking friend: if it weren’t for the beautiful photography, this image would be completely useless.)
August 2, 2011 at 8:13 pm
Uh, I am very fashion forward but if I saw this dude on the street I’d tell him to return it to the old man he stole it from. All I can give a thumbs up to are the shoes.
August 2, 2011 at 8:46 pm
It reminds me of me and my Dad in the 60′s when Mom bought us swimtrunks that always had a matching top. Ours were better looking and lined with terry cloth to boot!
August 2, 2011 at 10:18 pm
The contrasting colours are just amazing to the eyes. Dull-looking yet there’s this dark energy which is shining bright. I LOVE it!

a very brave look!! not one you’d see in Australia too often.
August 3, 2011 at 12:11 am
Kind of scary but I love the outfit
August 3, 2011 at 1:03 am
Wow, so unexpected! Brilliant!
August 3, 2011 at 1:07 am
I did not think somebody would ever put on something like this in public. that’s pretty brave of him! but all in a sum I kind like it, although I strongly think this suit wasn’t adapt for the place.
plus… what the hell has he got that clutch?? that’s black, and he’s wearing anything but black!
August 3, 2011 at 2:16 am
The look may be better with different sneakers…
August 3, 2011 at 2:29 am
Printed shortsuit on a man ??? I don’t think this is the more elegant way to dress, but the guy is very very brave!
August 3, 2011 at 2:30 am
This is so amazingly interesting. Love the shoes.

Un look non accessibile a tutti
August 3, 2011 at 3:09 am
I must say it looks interesting on him…
August 3, 2011 at 3:23 am
Not for anybody, but him!
Imho; he does not seem very confident within himself, to overdress his exterior to this extent…
August 3, 2011 at 3:40 am
I have been following thesartorialist.com almost since its very beginnings but I have never seen such an odious outfit ever posted!
August 3, 2011 at 4:08 am
How about the woman to the left? She looks interesting.
August 3, 2011 at 4:09 am
I mean to the right.

IS THIS IT? models review
August 3, 2011 at 7:35 am
Sorry, but not exactly my genre, not mad about this kind of style…
August 3, 2011 at 7:53 am
Wrong color for his complexion. A hat would help and the shoes are horrible. Same style suit in solid color with proper shoes to accent that….that folder…I agree he is a victim. OMG somebody call the fashion police.

I thougt this blog was about fashion and not about bravery. This guy looks so vulnerable, insecure and scared; why is he torturing himself by appearing in public with such a big risk of being ridiculised? Or is there something wrong with ME?
He has a beautiful face and figure and could look gorgeous but this is awful.
August 3, 2011 at 1:53 pm
hahaha, i almost didnt like it but the shoes he chose put everything together for me
August 3, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Striking. Almost arresting. I wonder who made these. Help anyone?
August 3, 2011 at 2:24 pm
Personally I would of preferred a solid jacket, but none the less this is fun!!
August 3, 2011 at 3:19 pm
Love short suits. That one reminds me of the Miami flea market in the early 90′s :). Ha!
August 3, 2011 at 3:25 pm
I think it is Emil fashion editor at S Magazine…
August 3, 2011 at 4:29 pm
I love that girl with cigarette, in the right – down corner :)
August 3, 2011 at 10:03 pm
I love the look.. fantastic!

Are you kidding?
August 4, 2011 at 2:04 am
I Loooveee those sneaks!!
August 4, 2011 at 3:25 am
This is Jean Paul Gaultier Jeans vintage!
I had almost the same (long legs, short sleeves) in the late 90′s….souvenirs, souvenirs!
August 4, 2011 at 3:36 am
What to say? Individually all of the components are rather good. Just a pity none seem to fit him all that well. For me the outfit would work better with neat loafers or espadrilles rather than the clunky white midheight sports shoes. The whole melange leaves him looking like an extra from Zoolander.
However, well done to the chap for trying something different. And his face is truly compelling, to shoot a portrait with him would be fascinating.
August 4, 2011 at 4:13 am
Is he one of the Von Trapp kids? Maria must have made this getup from the curtains?…
August 4, 2011 at 10:26 am
A bit feminine…..
August 4, 2011 at 10:31 am
It’s all about the shoes! Velcro straps…love it:)
August 4, 2011 at 3:48 pm
I absolutely love it. The shoes really ground the look. If he wore like black oxfords it would not work. But with his look, it goes. Very intriguing and even sexy. It took me a while to decide, but its just great. Now why can’t straight guys look like that!
August 4, 2011 at 4:51 pm
I like this look on him. It needs a thin build. On a fuller figure it might seem comical, but on this gentleman, I think it works.
August 4, 2011 at 11:47 pm
Fantastic. He looks a lot like the supremely talented Scottish dancer, Michael Clark. Interesting juxtaposition of loud punky clothing against his gamine, elegant stance. Refreshing, original and quietly subversive. What’s not to love?
August 5, 2011 at 3:16 am
In my opinion, not everyone can master the very outfit. Honestly, I
think the look suits him pretty well. He doesn’t let the clothes wear him. Inevitably, some people may consider him a fashion victim. However, it is undeniable that he has his own style. Furthermore, it is always hard to define a person because there are simply too many factors to put into consideration. Different factors breed different interpretations and definitions.
I love his bag.

Not everyone can master the outfit on him. Honestly, I think the look fits him quite well. More importantly, he owns it and doesn’t let the clothes wear him. Inevitably, some people might consider him a fashion victim. Yet, it is undeniable that he definitely has his own style. Besides, defining a person isn’t a simple process because there are too many factors to put into consideration. Different factors breed different interpretations and definitions.

This guy sure knows what he is doing. The trainers really set this outfit on fire!
August 7, 2011 at 2:36 pm
Michael Clark is always fascinating. A fabulous picture of him.
August 11, 2011 at 12:32 am
I desperately need to know where he got that jumpsuit!
anyone :) ?
