NICE COLUMBO COAT.
March 26, 2008 at 8:54 am
I just love a guyin a trench, so easy and stylish.
Could you please tell me, for a guy what is the perfect fit of a trench? should it always be bought in maybe one size bigger rather than smaller?

That’s a pout made for kissing! The clothes are almost as beautiful as his face (i.e. considerably!).

Can’t see much of his outfit. I guess it’s just a picture of his lips.

hair! eyes! trench! Can i just kiss him, please?-L.

His look takes me back to 1980 in a good way. Traditional businessman’s trench coat over casual wear. With those cheekbones, this guy is likely to look good no matter what he wears.

my, oh my…
March 26, 2008 at 9:56 am
I absolutely love the sequencing of button size. The whole look to me is interesting and different. It also helps that the guy is quite attractive.
March 26, 2008 at 10:20 am
He looks great…but he reminds me a little of Amanda Lepore…like her very handsome younger brother.
ps I love Amanda!
March 26, 2008 at 10:23 am
It’s not soo much the nice hair, decent trench, etc., because on their own they’re not that noteworthy- but the clever way he pulled this look together is quite nice. And it seems it all started with the hair.

Love the composition and lighting of this photograph… Sart, you are so talented…
But this kid looks like he knows he is pretty. Puts me off….

he seems to just radiate sex!!I love how his hair and upturned collar creates depth and shadows around his face and highlights his gorgeous cheekbones and lips :)

Very ‘Dead Poets’ Society.’ I love the attitude and the androgyny.
March 26, 2008 at 11:12 am
A modern saint with lots of presence. And homework, too…
March 26, 2008 at 11:49 am
I know this is a website about clothes–but is that upper lip natural, or drawn in with lip pencil? The triple neckline is interesting but his face is more so.
March 26, 2008 at 12:05 pm
it’s tough to find a double breasted trench that fits that slim! i had to settle for one that is single breasted
March 26, 2008 at 12:34 pm
Great coat – it looks like something he inherited from his father.
French boys look SO French! Unbelieveable.
March 26, 2008 at 12:39 pm
I knew boys like this at university. He´s about to seduce someone with his inept poetry. Luckily, his trench coat is just perfect.
March 26, 2008 at 12:54 pm
what a beautiful photo – what a beautiful boy. the framing, lighting, his innocent seductiveness & schoolboy-like crumpleness. Good Job

I’m quite impressed by both his outfit and his face. I don’t know if he would fit better in a nouvelle vague film or in an ancient Greek legend. Can’t decide really…
March 26, 2008 at 2:15 pm
my heart just skipped a beat.
March 26, 2008 at 2:23 pm
He looks straight out of Gossip Girl, but better–more real.
March 26, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Great shot! You captured the light in a way that for some reason reminds me of a Rembrandt picture… The subject is also quite eye catching, with his piercing gaze and natural sense of style…
March 26, 2008 at 2:41 pm
Somebody’s going to break in and tell us he’s a girl, right?

This guy is an English model and was featured in Arena magazine last month, he is wearing his clothes very well and I like the way he’s mixing patterns.
March 26, 2008 at 5:13 pm
both the outfit and the boy are absolutely beautiful!
March 26, 2008 at 5:45 pm
he´s got a great face …..and this cardigan ..very nice
March 26, 2008 at 5:47 pm
Scott, this picture is really good photography!
The trenchcoat is classic and worn very well.
The cardigan has a nice pattern, does anyone know if its a designer piece or from a department store?A fact that could not make it less interesting, btw ;)
March 26, 2008 at 6:07 pm
He has a halo, but he looks a little naughty!

March 26, 2008 at 7:46 pm
I love how he’s mixed that light, dotted-stripe shirt with the dark cardigan. (And I really need to expand my fashion vocab — that description was awful!) The trench I could do without, honestly. I would put him in a snug-fitting dark blazer instead. But his hair is perfect and he’s dreamy overall, as previous posters have noted.
March 26, 2008 at 7:57 pm
its nuttin but ‘da hair, peeps
March 26, 2008 at 8:21 pm
it’s interesting how his vest/cardigan is buttoned up so far. most guys don’t like to button up that many buttons.
March 26, 2008 at 8:46 pm
he is beautiful.
March 26, 2008 at 9:24 pm
french school boy! How sassy you are.
March 26, 2008 at 9:28 pm
Did we all notice the contrast b/t the perfectly highlighted hair and washed/distressed quality in his dressing? the shirt and cardigan have nicely distressed quality. then, here goes the modern silhouette of the trench: just look at that armhole – small, fitted and line up perfectly w/ the should ridge – yum……..
March 26, 2008 at 9:31 pm
from far away i like it. but i’m not into that REALLY tight herringbone against multicolored depressed dot stripes. it makes him look way too juvenile. which i suppose is a look.
March 26, 2008 at 9:43 pm
The cheekbones, the fringe, the lips: all lovely.
March 26, 2008 at 10:46 pm
those collars are being mistreated. very bad collar form on all fronts. come’n sart. collar stays!
March 26, 2008 at 10:58 pm
hey pretty boy!!i like his classic simple look but he has a gorgeous face!
March 26, 2008 at 11:04 pm
With a face like that, who cares what he wears!
March 27, 2008 at 12:27 am
oh baby baby i like yo lips
March 27, 2008 at 2:23 am
Looks like he jumped straight out of Burberry’s current ad campaign!
March 27, 2008 at 9:07 am
cheekbones like a snowplow, what
March 27, 2008 at 9:19 am
Ah, the young Dorian Gray. Whose attic picture already has a few marks of debauchery on it, I’d wager.

March 27, 2008 at 10:03 am
It’s the Yves Klein Blue folder that makes this image.
March 27, 2008 at 10:29 am
Hey, he just stole my trench. That’s fcuk.

March 27, 2008 at 12:51 pm
Just the ambivelance of knowing he is hot…would normally be a tunr off but somehow here, it works because he doesn’t give a dam what I think.
March 27, 2008 at 1:57 pm
This boy should have a pair of enormous wings sprouting from his back.
March 27, 2008 at 2:28 pm
such a beautiful photograph, so well done. those BONES! stunning.
it is my dream to meet you one day!:)
March 27, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Woah, I bet he could shave his own face on those cheekbones of his!
March 27, 2008 at 3:18 pm
I agree–sorta Burberry, sorta J. Crew… I tried to block out his face and focus on the outfit, which is cute, sort of a studied frumpiness that isn’t really frumpy. The lighting is also gorgeous, and the window position in the background is GREAT.. But of course, it goes without say, this guy’s face is absolutely gorgeous. He is beautiful. The hair, the puckered lips, the fabulous cheekbones. I dated a guy who looked like this once–and unfortunately, they usually know how good-looking they are… Sigh…
March 27, 2008 at 4:52 pm
I think it’s all about the contrast between his oversized coat collar and buttons and his young looking face and shirt. Not so sure about the cardigan/shirt combo, though.
March 27, 2008 at 5:18 pm
Actually where can I get a trench that doesn’t sag, all trench coats I see emphasize function, thus are heavy. There seem to be tons around for women that are light and thereby maintain their shape, quite like in this picture.
March 27, 2008 at 5:33 pm
his features are so beautifully exageratedhe definetly would stand out in a crowd!
March 27, 2008 at 5:42 pm
I can’t even focus on the outfit because of his gorgeous lips.
And that is not a bad thing.
March 27, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Is this the actor who was the star of that movie Les Choristes? If not, he looks just like a more grown up version of him.
March 27, 2008 at 8:20 pm
You really are a great photographer!
No wonder he is a model, he obviously knows how to angle his face to look as good as possible with his facial features.
Amazing, truly amazing. I hope that the blue folder he is carrying around isn’t his “book”, he shouldn’t have to cast (at least not for photo).
-h of candid cool

One could build quite the stunning ensemble just using his hair colour(s) as the inspiration piece.
March 29, 2008 at 9:34 am
Beautiful big lips! Very sensual.

March 31, 2008 at 2:21 pm
Lovely photo, the clothing (cardi, trench, shirt) is all spot-on. And framing his head in the arch wiindow, the consumate fotog you are, Sart!
My guess: Agyness Deyn on a bad hair day. That face does belong on a female model. So it’s not so much as it’s handsome (think G. Clooney, or S. Schuman), it isnt, but it *is* a pretty face, and *he* is a very pretty boy. So I’m not putting his beauty down, but it helps to give it its category. And yes, we women are jealous of what needs a nip and a tuck to equal, nowadays!

Is that the same background arched window as in the jan 11 Silver Fox Femme?.

Weird…the first person that popped in my head after looking at this man was WILLIAM HOLDEN! I don’t no why, perhaps it’s the raincoat with the popped collar. William Holden always wore a raincoat in rain or shine and always looked so marvelous in them. The guy in the picture executed the raincoat so stunningly! Touche.

The trench coat…Always in style, always in season
