He’s always looking sharp but I’ll say what’s likely gonna be mentioned a lot after this but that DB jacket is as close to perfection as you can get in a jacket. Wow, I need one like that!!
the shoes with nice pants/nice jeans and a blazer/chic jacket are absolutely the way to play a nice outfit when out for a casual stroll. Boots always work wonders. The jacket might be a bit much (boots would go better with the jacket), but shoes go swell with a blazer and simple collared shirt. He’s onto the style. Oh yeahhhh
We’ve seen this fine looking gentleman before, looking much more ‘costumey’ and it really suits him. I love his jacket but the pants and sneakers don’t work for me, bring back the britches and knee boots!
He’s been here a few times. He always wears really cool and sartorial outfit. I’m not sure about the sneakers either. What’s his name? Is he Fabrizio Rollo?
His hair is perfectly groomed – his beard is trimmed, regal and neat – his coat is amazing – his pants are slouchy – and sneakers. He could have been cast as a captain in the navy in a 1890s-esque film from the waist up. He’s a dashing fellow, and this is an interesting look. I will not be following in his footsteps, but I will not shun his style. He looks good and he looks like he’s comfortable with his style. I tip my hat to you, sir.
As many times as you’ve shoot this guy, he always stays sharp! The DB is a perfect, and I’m not sure but I think those are motorcycle pants, notice the padding type thing around his inner knees!! Shoes are colorful touch, all in all done very well!!
I love how he looks like a Civil War general from head to ankle, and then those bright blue shoes really throw you into the current day. Good on him. He rocks it.
Fabrizio! He is always his own man when it comes to style. I love the jacket. The bands on the arm are a wonderful detail. 8 buttons! A bit Dr. Pepperish but in the best way.
I like the idea of trainers with this if only to put an exclamation point on casual!, but a different color would work better IMO.
I’m a big fan of his hair (on head and face). So handsome.
I agree that the shoes arent quite fitting but I love the DB coat it goes well with his facial features and hairstyle kind of a classic look to himself.
A handsome man. A captain of a ship in a story by Joseph Conrad. The sneakers give the outfit a witty touch although the full-on britches and boots would have been pretty good too.
Generally I love his style, and I’m all for mixing formal with casual, but there’s something about the severe contrast in structure between the coat and pants that makes this statement too jarring. He might as well be wearing pajama bottoms. I see the (pink?) shirt is more unstructured, if the cuffs are any indication, but shirtcuffs alone aren’t enough to balance it head-to-toe. Perhaps it is the severely tied dark scarf that upsets the balance. A lighter, casually draped one might restore harmony.
His facial countenance, beard and naval jacket with undone exposed french shirtcuffs exude an ethereal air of elegant distinction about this man. The casual look of his khaki workpants and vintage Nike runners tie this man to the grungy urban background of your masterful photo, Sart. Genius!
wow. breathtaking. unlike some previous comments, I actually really like the addition of the clearly modern footwear to contrast with the vintage inspired jacket.
I don’t want my comment to be construed as vitriolic, but those shoes seem entirely out of place. I’m fine with wearing sneakers with that jacket, but I think darker would be better. Still, that jacket is probably one of the nicest things I’ve seen.
this whole look does not look very good. It looks like a halfway realized costume from the 1800s. Just because he looks kooky and eccentric does not make it stylish. Stylized, yes.
haha, one more of the seriel “two styles in one look”. yes, to me it´s the sneakers, too. but in the end, why not? his trousers refere to jodhpur riding pants. they match with the uniform jacket in their style, but not so well in their cut. however…
I know it´s New York, but his face, jacket, hair… make me think of a french painting, the background gives him something historical, a battlefield under a blood red sky. and he is a proud warlord, his horse is awaiting him. I miss a saber or a bayonet ;)
He is Fabrizio Rollo, editor in Brazil. I saw him a couple of times next to my place and he was dressed quite ordinarily. He might dress up/put on costumes only when he’s traveling…
Fabrizio is the man!I think he has a great combination sense, and always looks interesting. My only doubt are the shoes. But if there is one person that can pull them off, that person is Fabrizio.
The combination of the jacket with those nike’s is perfect! Takes away the seriousness. Not too formal, but not too casual either. Maybe it is more of an European kind of style… Excellent!
His hair and beard are too perfectly groomed for walking around the city. They look almost sculpted. At odds with his wind-chapped cheeks (or is that make-up?)
The gold stripes on the sleeves of the jacket make it too costumey for my taste. But he has the presence to pull it off. And I like the pink cuffs.
The pants are too unstructured for the jacket. Even jeans would be better.
breathtaking image. Unlike some of the previous comments, I really like the addition of the aggressively modern footwear to balance out the vintage jacket.
Who is this fella?! I’ve seen his picture posted on this site numerous times, and he always looks the picture of perfection. When I grow up, I want to be just like this man.
Sart, what’s his personality like? Every time I look at his pictures I wonder; he LOOKS so serious always, but is he really like that if you talk to him? Or does the personality not fit the image in that sense?
He looks kinda scary AND totally intriguing and fascinating at the same time….Like I want to stay away from him and be close to him at the same time….

It’s all a little bit too …
His hair and beard are too perfectly groomed for walking around the city. They look almost sculpted. At odds with his wind-chapped cheeks (or is that make-up?)
The gold stripes on the sleeves of the jacket make it too costumey for my taste. But he has the presence to pull it off. And I like the pink cuffs.
