wow. great and gorgeous!!

It feels like there is a story here, I am going to choose to believe that both mother and daughter are vintage buyers, and find precious garments that they keep forever. Great shot- love the mother’s lips!!! Jorge from W Palm Beach

They both look great and I’d guess the daughter had a say in dressing herself. You can see she “goes” with Mom, but with an appropriately younger style.
January 21, 2009 at 8:52 am
so different styles and yet both so good.
January 21, 2009 at 8:54 am
Both are great! And the daughter is gorgeous

January 21, 2009 at 9:43 am
love everything except the girl’s shoes. too bad. her jacket is amazing, anyone know where to get it?

hot! love the girls style…playful with the patterned sweater jacket, and I love her shoes. OK, now the the mother! She looks very put together! They both own it very nicely from what I can see in this wonderful shot!

January 21, 2009 at 9:57 am
not a new concept… “comptoir des cotonniers” do this in France for advertising, mother and daughter.
January 21, 2009 at 9:59 am
This photo makes me think of the Comptoir des Cotonniers’s advertisement. x)
They are so beautiful and “chic”!
January 21, 2009 at 10:00 am
Very nice, human and yet very chic. All these pics make me proud to be Italian. Also this could be part of the Comptoir De Cotonniers:-)

I wish I’d had style like that at that age, and I hope I look as good as the mom in the future! Brava!
January 21, 2009 at 11:15 am
where is the girls jacket from?
January 21, 2009 at 11:28 am
Great picture. The mother looks especially elegant– very minimalist chic.
January 21, 2009 at 11:30 am
I’d like to have both those jackets and the daughter’s bag. Lovely pair. Simple chic.
January 21, 2009 at 11:35 am
What a fabulous duo. Beautiful.
January 21, 2009 at 11:37 am
I wish I could be like this… stylish mother, with beautiful daughter/son! dreaming…
January 21, 2009 at 11:49 am
I love the daughter’s jacket. This is a great image – I love how it looks a little deeper into a person, as it shows that a person is made of more than just themselves.
-h of candid cool
January 21, 2009 at 11:51 am

January 21, 2009 at 12:43 pm
If I am not wrong, she’s a former model from 80′…Dragana something from ex Yugoslavia…I liked here sooo much!
January 21, 2009 at 12:57 pm
Such beautiful women! I love love love the fit of mom’s outfit–and the length of those pants! I would be sated if I could create a look this sophisticated just once.
January 21, 2009 at 1:18 pm
i want to see the father!
January 21, 2009 at 1:49 pm
milan is currently so cold that most people don´t even walk barefooted inside.
December 1, 2016 at 10:39 pm
Barefoot? Seriously, how is your eyesight?
January 21, 2009 at 1:50 pm
Wow! They are both stunning!
January 21, 2009 at 2:11 pm
cute! i love the daughter’s outfit!
January 21, 2009 at 2:55 pm
I love the contrast in the clothing and the mother daughter connection
January 21, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Love it when mum & daughter go out like that …are those hello kitty-shoes the girl is wearing ??My daughter would kill for a pair of those !!!
January 21, 2009 at 3:27 pm
I love the young girls style, I’m not sure about the shoes, but I guess it is appropriate for her age. Its been said abunch of times already but they’re both gorgeous!!
January 21, 2009 at 3:28 pm
January 21, 2009 at 3:44 pm
Very stylish mother and daughter. Great composition also: the direction of the pipe in the upper left is continued by the length of the two people! Nice!
January 21, 2009 at 3:52 pm
They are both wonderful in their own ways.As a mother, I appreciate that the daughter is wearing very cool clothes that manage to be age-appropriate, not trashy, and comfortable. This girl looks older because she has a certain sophistication, but I bet she’s around 12 or 13, because of her height vs. her mom (accounting for the heels). That age is still just a kid, and this one is dressed appropriately, with style. Bravo to both of them.
January 21, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Aw, how absolutely gorgeous!
January 21, 2009 at 4:28 pm
They are absolute beauties with great style sense. Simply stunning!
January 21, 2009 at 4:42 pm
one of my favorite shots of yours. by far. could you start shooting more kids?
January 21, 2009 at 4:52 pm
January 21, 2009 at 4:54 pm
Beautiful people with style produces beautiful offsprings with style. This picture is the proof.
January 21, 2009 at 5:01 pm
I love the retro 80s “printed knit” feel of the girl’s sweater.
a potential laps of reason
January 21, 2009 at 5:07 pm
they are dragana capasa and her and ennio’s daughter. the mother’s clothes tend to be costume national head to toe, though the daughter’s couldn’t be, no CoSTUME kiddie line..
January 21, 2009 at 5:11 pm
stunning, it is almost unfair how beautiful these two ladies are.
January 21, 2009 at 5:16 pm
Those cropped little trousers are on top of my must-have list for the coming winter in Sydney.
January 21, 2009 at 5:39 pm
jesus christ, they’re gorgeous!
January 21, 2009 at 5:45 pm
They are both so gorgeous, it should be illegal.
Their shoes (both) are fantastic.
January 21, 2009 at 6:21 pm
These two people are so beautiful. The daughter doesn’t outshine her mother, despite the fact she’s extremely beautiful. Her mother is the one that really interests me, because of her outfit.
But both look stunning. I wonder how the father looks like?
January 21, 2009 at 6:52 pm
Wow, i fall in love with the mother! What an attitude. With this layered black clothes she looks so elegant, cool, beautiful. And the open legs make her powerful too.
January 21, 2009 at 9:07 pm
To Dan in Richmond; It has been my experience that by the time your daughter can talk she most definitely has a say in dressing herself.
They are a beautiful family!
January 21, 2009 at 9:51 pm
this duo is unstoppable! so stylish, cool, and collected…
January 21, 2009 at 10:42 pm
WORK IT OUT MOM!
January 21, 2009 at 11:13 pm
Jeez, think these two are confident enough? Haha, loving it.

January 22, 2009 at 12:04 am
What a lovely pair! I love the proportions of the clothes. The most authentic thing is the daughter’s shoes… in typical teenage fashion, they’re the piece left “undone,” which gives the photo an arresting feeling – like she was caught playing dress-up. That said, I’d love to see this outfit with a pointy-toed flat…maybe dark burgundy, or even a dark peacock blue – but brighter than the bag she’s holding. Or maybe classic black Keds. Keds rock.
January 22, 2009 at 12:18 am
January 22, 2009 at 5:16 am
Why can’t all the girls her age dress like that?
January 22, 2009 at 5:28 am
It’s exactly like comptior des cotonnier ads concept.
January 22, 2009 at 5:31 am
Definitely superior gene pool here! Lovely pair, age appropriate and stylish. The daughter is wearing her mother’s jacket – it’s too big which gives her a grunge feel. I do feel that the shoes, while totally in keeping with the girl’s age, look slightly tacky….
January 22, 2009 at 9:45 am
People like these make me love Italy! So much style and class…
January 22, 2009 at 10:34 am
Keeping their own shoes, they could swap outfits and still be perfectly dressed. Not to mention true beauties.
January 22, 2009 at 11:22 am
they look like they’re out of a comptoir des cottoniers add.
January 22, 2009 at 3:17 pm
awww. power puff girl shoes? so cute. she is going to grow up to be a beautiful woman.
January 22, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Yes, please photograph more kids/teenagers! There have to be stylish ones out there!
January 22, 2009 at 5:41 pm
rare are the ones who could wear the daughter’s outfit and actually pull it off the way she does.
January 23, 2009 at 5:30 am
This makes me miss Italy…ah.
January 23, 2009 at 10:58 am
i noticed the mother first.. IMO she is the beauty in this picture.
January 23, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I really appriciate the daughter wearing flats without socks in the winter…I cannot stand wearing socks and the colour is so bright, how lovely!

Look Dark is beaultiful!
January 24, 2009 at 10:29 am
I love the daughter’s look. It’s as if the shoes are a little surprise. They seem to have Blossom from the Powerpuff girls on them which I find hilarious.
January 24, 2009 at 1:43 pm
i love the daughter’s coat
January 25, 2009 at 9:13 am

January 26, 2009 at 2:24 pm
I can’t believe that’s mother and daughter! Amazing!
January 27, 2009 at 8:03 am
Wow what a stylish pair! I love the daughters look more because her look seems more daring. I think anything that deals with combining color with patterns and textures is daring! Wow, I still can’t get over the pattern of the poncho sweater and the berry longsleeve I assume, and the blue bag she’s toting and those flats, what a HUGE statement like “Yea, it may be below negative but I’ll risk it”! lol! =)
January 27, 2009 at 10:01 am

VERY stylish mother and daughter duo. It’s fun to see what the daughter might look like when she grows up: sophisticated and put together.
January 29, 2009 at 1:52 pm
This is so stunning. There’s something very surreal and yet fitting about the two of them. Their expressions alone tell a story.
January 29, 2009 at 8:16 pm
now thats one classy mumma…i love how elegant and sophisticated she looks and how she doesnt compete with her daughter like so many mothers do…

Reminds me of Isabella Rosselli and Ingrid Bergman. Beautiful mother daughter, high class sculpted faces. Beautiful.
February 1, 2009 at 6:29 pm
Strikingly beautiful women, regardless of age or relationship – though the latter is evident in their features and stance.
