love these looks, particularly the pocket square in the first photo…
June 28, 2011 at 4:49 pm
The last picture is the most put together and natural looking to me. It looks effortlessly cool and the sweater pocket really adds some detail to the outfit.

So glad to see a post on Henleys one of my favourite garments. Fantastic for warmth in winter layering colours and as your post amply demonstrates style.

Love your blog! Just wondering if you ever photograph people who are plus size. You are great at showing people of all ages; would love to see people of all sizes. Surely, thin people aren't the only stylish ones out there.
June 28, 2011 at 6:03 pm
Love all three photos… But the first one is my favourite!!!!
Xxx from Formentera, Spain!! :D

It must be very warm in Florence at this time of year so I have great respect for anyone braving the heat in layers and a suit!

Never been to Europe, but I'm guessing that it is summer over there, and I hear that air conditioning is not as prevalent there as it is here; so I don't understand how so many guys are layered up in jackets and sweaters? The first guy is dressed well, but all I see is his beautiful watch.
June 28, 2011 at 10:46 pm

V necks for men will never get old. There's so much sex appeal with them…and also an unexpected element of cuteness! I think a wide range of types of men can pull this off. And, they're a great item for girlfriends to borrow. Lovely photos.xxx
June 28, 2011 at 11:36 pm
i WANT the sweater on the third guy, so chic
June 28, 2011 at 11:51 pm
The third outfit and second gentleman are, as my German friends would say, very pleasant.
June 29, 2011 at 12:06 am
I like the Henley options. Dignified jackets and snuggle-up-to-me Henleys. That's a great mix.
June 29, 2011 at 12:39 am
The last guy is certainly the hottest, but somehow i doubt it has to do with his outfit. Although i very much like that everything he wears is fitted. No looseness.
June 29, 2011 at 12:40 am
that first guy is so stylish..layering at is very best..xx meenal
June 29, 2011 at 1:28 am
I love the style in the first shot! It's very masculine but a definite conscious choice that raises the look above something thrown together, or something cobbled to make a traditional business uniform.
June 29, 2011 at 2:01 am
Love all of these! The last photo might be the one that translates easiest, but they are all so hot!
mon sac by me
June 29, 2011 at 2:05 am

June 29, 2011 at 4:36 am
The third one is fantastic, simple chic, and so cute. Love.
IS THIS IT? models review
June 29, 2011 at 4:45 am
My fav is the third – even if wait, when I do this kind of combination the shirt below (if longer, the way it is here) has to be quite tight… :)
June 29, 2011 at 4:59 am
The first man owns a lot of style, so so fashion!!!
June 29, 2011 at 5:00 am
i love the first outfit!
June 29, 2011 at 5:13 am

June 29, 2011 at 5:19 am

June 29, 2011 at 5:23 am
Always very inspiring…. Congratulation Schott.
Keep up the good Job
June 29, 2011 at 5:58 am
grey button up is very chic, I like the double layered shirt of the second gentleman with a mod wayfarers glasses
June 29, 2011 at 6:28 am
These looks would be great for autumn orif you spend all day inside an air conditioned buildingbut,
I live in the summer humidity of New York, and I'm sweating just looking at the jackets and sweaters being worn outdoors.
June 29, 2011 at 6:52 am

June 29, 2011 at 10:14 am
The love the layered look in the first photo. The watch also makes a nice touch. Casual cool!!!!
June 29, 2011 at 10:25 am
I'm so tired of the scruffy-beard look. And, everyone holding a phone in their pictures.
June 29, 2011 at 11:20 am
nice outfits!! i love when men are so fashion!!!!
June 29, 2011 at 12:09 pm

June 29, 2011 at 12:58 pm
interesting combinations. i like it.
June 29, 2011 at 1:00 pm
The last gentleman is the only one who has it right – can't dress up the henley IMO
June 29, 2011 at 2:41 pm
I like in the third photo.
June 29, 2011 at 3:00 pm
The Henley is such an authentic piece. LOVE the looks.
A Vermont Girl in Brooklyn
June 29, 2011 at 3:59 pm
The men are surely handsome, but I really don't like the 1st look.
It's too stark a contrast with the light cotton henley and the formal jacket/hankerchief.
June 29, 2011 at 5:06 pm
I like him!
June 29, 2011 at 8:40 pm
iy yiy yiy ya – that neckline and waistline! sigh.
June 29, 2011 at 9:26 pm
I love the outfits
June 29, 2011 at 11:16 pm
Henley's are just sexy – on any age, at any time, in any place. Men, please wear more of them. And not just in Paris and Florence!
Thank you for these gorgeous photos. You are the best!
June 29, 2011 at 11:28 pm
Out of the three looks, I'd have to say the third is my favorite. The first outfit just looks thrown together; none of it looks cohesive. The gentleman in the second picture looks like kinda like he rolled out of bed, slicked his hair back and threw a sweater on. Finally the third look may be simple but that's what makes it work.
June 30, 2011 at 5:43 am
Different shades of Italian men!!! I truly admire the styling of the gentleman in the first photograph with the layering of a V-neck cardigan over a Henley neck tee and adorned by a casual jacket on top!!! Stylishly casual!!
June 30, 2011 at 4:03 pm
Does anyone know where you can get a good henley?
July 1, 2011 at 2:34 am
July 2, 2011 at 12:27 am
I like his hairstyle is very simple but cool
July 2, 2011 at 11:15 am
I love the belt in the last photo. These men all know how to pull their styles together. I tip my hat. God bless Europe.
July 2, 2011 at 6:28 pm
If I was a man, I'd definitely dress like this!
July 3, 2011 at 7:42 pm
I think the green accents in each photo are what make the suite really brilliant for me. From the line on the pocket square in the first photo, to the emerald colour of the gentleman's eyes in the second, and the glasses to the right of the third.
July 3, 2011 at 9:00 pm
I love that each of these gents has their own clear sense of style and individuality but it is still understated.
July 4, 2011 at 6:38 am
July 4, 2011 at 2:51 pm
Henleys are mint
July 5, 2011 at 7:17 pm
Damn layering is sexy! also like the superposition of different greys and whites.
July 7, 2011 at 4:58 am
#2 looks like Ringo, to me.
July 15, 2011 at 7:52 pm
Who is the man in suit and green glasses?Would love to see his outfit. He looks familiar, Fabrizio Rollo I suppose..
July 31, 2011 at 11:29 am
ah, these mens look so rugged and carefree with their whiskers taking care of themselves……
or so it seems. until you live with a husband spending hours and $$$ trying to capture the perfect "stubble nonchalant". it is a great look, making one think of the charms of beard-burn, and spot-on with those henleys.
but nowhere near low-maintenance. steph
October 3, 2011 at 11:08 am
Do you know who made the gray v neck the guy in the third pic is wearing?
