Great play on the checkered coat and the squares of the bus!! Particularly love the way she works with sleeves – the two longer ones showing out from beneath the shorter jacket.
March 25, 2011 at 8:06 am
Great masculine inspired look.
March 25, 2011 at 8:07 am

I am not a fan of plaids generally but she nails this look.
March 25, 2011 at 8:12 am
love the layering.
March 25, 2011 at 8:13 am
I like the red checkered coat, you don't see that particular color and pattern worn all that often, and it looks good on her, nice hat too

It's sort of a 1980s look, the hat with the red check print jacket. I like it.
March 25, 2011 at 8:53 am
the urban lumberjack meets annie hall. beautiful color contrast with the yellow cab.
Great shot in front of the bus. I like the plaid in front of the black and white check.

Stunning! She reminds me of St Vincent.
March 25, 2011 at 10:07 am
Love the look with the fedora and the plaid coat. It doesn't hurt that she just looks beautiful regardless- definitely wearing her clothes rather than letting them wear her, which is what makes it work I think.
March 25, 2011 at 10:08 am
Wow– that background is the perfect complement to the subject. Also, this woman is a complete enigma to me: the whole outfit is so masculine, and each piece (at least from this view) shows no respite from the masculinity. And yet, in total, she appears totally feminine. Is a face enough to change the tone of an outfit? A pose? A haircut?

She looks jaunty! Nice pose in front of the yellow and blk/wht checkerboard pattern. Still I would rather see red plaid in deep winter. Bugs me when people wear red in spring, lavender in autumn. I just want to say…..get out to the woods! Let the wildflowers be your inspiration.
March 26, 2011 at 3:08 am
This is awesome and so wearable! I hope those who commented earlier about having photo's of people wearing accessible clothing are checking this out! I love this coat!Great outfit!
March 26, 2011 at 4:39 am
wow…she reminds me of a very stylish Ellen Page…you know…from Juno, Smart People… love the plaid, love the layering, I even love the vividly purple dossier. is she walking by a bus? a train? what a great backdrop. soooo goooood.
