What a lovely skirt, or was it a dress? whm… lovely either way…
Love neutrals with a pop of color, this time on the nails, same with Thursday's pics. I think it's my favorite style.
She is SO lovely! I love everything she wears, and she can carry anything, a classic ladylike outfit like this, a combat jacket, jeans, lots of colors mixed together, and different kinds of bracelets and she ALWAYS look amazing. She is just the most beautiful and elegant woman I've even seen I think!

the accessories and shoes make this look. Very simplistic and elegant.
April 1, 2011 at 12:27 pm
I can't believe no one has mentioned the perfect touch of the pocket square.
I loved everything, the skirt, the shoes, the bag, the ring, etc. But what I noticed more than anything was her perfect ability to pair a very womanly skirt with something masculine (the tailored jacket) and even throw in the pocket square, that set it all off for me.

April 1, 2011 at 1:03 pm
This skirt is to wide and it looks like from last century, but together it makes very good effect and it is very imressive.
April 1, 2011 at 1:08 pm
I agree with one of the comments above, about how pointed shoes aren't in fashion. Truth is, we're seeing so much of those chunky platforms (which are absolutely fab, don't get me wrong), but sometimes when you break out of the current "hot" trend and bring back old classic styles, it makes you a trend setter.
From head to to, she is in classic styles; long skirt, classic peacoat, and pointed slingbacks. I adore the simplicity of this photo, it makes it beautiful!
April 1, 2011 at 1:13 pm
This whole outfit works so well. I want those shoes.
April 1, 2011 at 1:18 pm
I'm starting to hate the platform shoes. This women looks beautiful in her pretty shoes!

I love the pattern on the skirt. The thin stripes remind me of the naval trend, but they're a little more restrained.

April 2, 2011 at 8:03 am
I love this outfit.
The masculinity of the blazer compared to the feminine silhouetted skirt, beautiful.
The sling backs and the little details such as the vibrant red nail polish, pocket square and gold rings add depth to the look, and the messy un-'done' hair gives her anonymity and mystery.
Perfect, perfect, perfect.

I love the tone-in-tone scarf and blazer and I also love the grey skirt. However. If it's cold enough to wear a scarf… Doesn't it look sort of odd with the sling-backs? Or am I too picky? In total a chic look and an awsome blog, thanx!
April 2, 2011 at 7:01 pm
