Don't you feel like: "Born to do this!"? You've such an amazing sense and taste for fashion and style. So womanly, delicate and harmonious look. Keep up! (",)
She has such a smart retro look, and yet it is very modern at the same time too! Love to visit your blog, check out mine when you have a moment. http://www.skylarkmanor.com
Everything about this is just right and it all flows – the red nails, line of the skirt, white pocket square – all of the details add up to a lovely lovely pic. thanks.
i love the shoes and the skirt:All that grey with red on her nails.I like that you don't show the face and that mix 50's with the phone on her hand of our days.
I love everything about this woman. She just screams elegance.I adore her outfit and how she seems so unaffected. She may just be one of my fav pictures you have posted
She is SO lovely! I love everything she wears, and she can carry anything, a classic ladylike outfit like this, a combat jacket, jeans, lots of colors mixed together, and different kinds of bracelets and she ALWAYS look amazing. She is just the most beautiful and elegant woman I've even seen I think!
I can't believe no one has mentioned the perfect touch of the pocket square.
I loved everything, the skirt, the shoes, the bag, the ring, etc. But what I noticed more than anything was her perfect ability to pair a very womanly skirt with something masculine (the tailored jacket) and even throw in the pocket square, that set it all off for me.
I agree with one of the comments above, about how pointed shoes aren't in fashion. Truth is, we're seeing so much of those chunky platforms (which are absolutely fab, don't get me wrong), but sometimes when you break out of the current "hot" trend and bring back old classic styles, it makes you a trend setter.
From head to to, she is in classic styles; long skirt, classic peacoat, and pointed slingbacks. I adore the simplicity of this photo, it makes it beautiful!
What a cool mix of current and retro. You don't see delicate, kitten heels like that much these days. That with the retro skirt (lovely!) and the "now" choice of navy blazer and scarf…nice! I'm going to emulate this.
The masculinity of the blazer compared to the feminine silhouetted skirt, beautiful.
The sling backs and the little details such as the vibrant red nail polish, pocket square and gold rings add depth to the look, and the messy un-'done' hair gives her anonymity and mystery.
I love the tone-in-tone scarf and blazer and I also love the grey skirt. However. If it's cold enough to wear a scarf… Doesn't it look sort of odd with the sling-backs? Or am I too picky? In total a chic look and an awsome blog, thanx!
I never gush in these comments except p'raps for Dries Van Noten clothes, but here I say – wow! The lines created are just beautiful and so easy for us to emulate. Thanks Scott!
THIS is how you do a full skirt! I love the stripes and the nipped in blazer with pocket square and scarf. The heels could not be more perfect and the hair and red nails keep this look youthful.
This is most definitely my dream look. I love the skirt, the shoes, the tanned legs, the jacket, the red nails. One of the best shots I have seen on this site. She is stunning.
These photos are amazing! the quality and magnitude of your shots is unbelievable. It's fun to come onto your blog and find photos that are inspiring without having to trudge through tons of photos of outfits that are too "high fashion" to wear sensibly on a typical Tuesday… thanks so much for sharing. I love this outfit.
The masculinity of the blazer compared to the feminine silhouetted skirt, beautiful.
The sling backs and the little details such as the vibrant red nail polish, pocket square and gold rings add depth to the look, and the messy un-'done' hair gives her anonymity and mystery.
Perfect, perfect, perfect.

I love how everything flows in her outfit: her hair to her jacket, and from the jacket to the dress. It's so simply elegant. Lovely shot.

I love that even with the full skirt and the slingbacks there is nothing even remotely "Mad Men" esque about this look. Modern and I love it!

This is underwhelming. Whatever happened to robust discourse and balance of views? I find it implausible that everyone would fawn on this.

THIS is how you do a full skirt! I love the stripes and the nipped in blazer with pocket square and scarf. The heels could not be more perfect and the hair and red nails keep this look youthful.

Feel free to link up with my blog as well for virtual wardrobe management and on-site closet assessment services :) http://chicwizard.blogspot.com
