Beautiful juxtaposition of feminine (red booties and fuchsia purse) and edgy. The embellished military jacket shows a personal sense of "off beat" style that is always intriguing.
I like the clash of the shoes and her bag… quite unusual but it works. And, is that hello kitty I see on her lower back? This girl definitely defies usual trends and creates her own. I applaud her.
Every time I read this blog I am so inspired to be more creative with my wardrobe. I have always loved to create outfits but every now & then you get into your little style patterns (or ruts!) & this blog always helps me keep things fresh & interesting. It makes me feel like I can dress outside my comfort zone. I like that :-)
The pin montage on her pocket is cool. It's like the popular flower decals/necklaces/etc, but more tough. I think I need a military jacket and that purse.
I love this, but especially the photo. It might not work standing up, because all the bright popping things are in the lower half of the picture and that's really nice with only the bag-matching lips as a small thing standing out in the upper half. great presence too.
Love how she picks up the color in the shoes and bag again in her bracelets. Loving, loving, loving the cluster of pins on the pocket flap! Borrowing that.
Also, the mixture of a look that is sort of modern-era (there are elements from each of the last 3 or so decades in her style channeled through a specifically early nineties bent) and a very stylized architecture of a very specific past epoch is really lovely.
Cute and very feminine! Fuchsia and red in small doses and purple and red work together as a nice "surprise" element. I just bought a pair of Stuart Weitzman ballet flats (red with a dash of fuchsia).
The contrast of this modern girl against the traditional architecture makes this another intriguing shot.
this is a lady with a really beautiful face, she would look good in anything! for me the look is great because of her really strong brows, with lips as vibrant as her boots and bag. i love the cluster of badges too! nicola
Was this picture posed, or did you find her sitting there? It looks like where she would naturally be, with her Hello Kitty Patch and white camera. Beautiful as always.
The boots grab you, but the choice to pin her buttons in the not-so-obvious place of that front hip area pocket and the "almost forgotten" patch on the back show flair.
Are you really traveling back and forth between these cities so often as your posts, or are these photos archived and you're just releasing them when desired? Intriguing.
the way this image popped up on my browser I could only see the top half of it at first.. what a delicious surprise when I scrolled down to find that exhilarating pop of fuchsia and bright red! and I love how her lips match her bag.
If your in London you have got to go down to portobello on the friday morning market and take some shots. people may say its cliche and touristy but the friday market is a lot more local and the fashion there is unbelievable.
