April 8, 2011 at 10:28 am
Wow! The silhouette is amazing.
April 8, 2011 at 10:39 am
Great shot! I especially love way the the BW film noir atomsphere contrasts with the modern (mundane?) cars stuck in traffic.
That said, I really don't understand the trend of wearing your coat over your shoulders. I find it off-putting: very prissy, plus, you have these ineffectual sleeves flapping around. Just put your arms in!!!
April 8, 2011 at 10:44 am
Beautiful photo. Cruel, if stylish, shoes.

what makes this photo interesting to me..is the very angle of her stride.that sharp point of the boot touching the sidewalk…in contrats with the rounded shoulder and head area.

beaufiful shot. frame worthy.
April 8, 2011 at 7:32 pm
Every few days you come out with a photo that makes me think…..there, THAT'S THE ONE that should be on the cover of your best-selling coffeetable book someday! But you keep coming up with so many incredible shots, it is going to have to be some crowded cover…….either that or a VERY big book.
It's the shadow of the shoes, and the white of the underside of the shoes that really make this shot amazing. Wow!

She reminds me of Cruella de Ville's nicer sister. The one not killing the Dalmatians.

As they say, a picture can tell us a thousand words and this photograph is proof of that. There's so much emotion in this photo alone that an explanation is not necessary. Just observe!

Love the proportions in this photo. The whole thing looks very enigmatic.
However, I think the proportions would look a bit off if she took off her coat, like as if the heel were showing TOO much/as if she were wearing pants that were hemmed to wear with flats rather than heels. Thoughts, anyone?

I love how this looks like something out of Phantom of the Opera…and the fact that it was taken in Milan (home of Opera).
April 9, 2011 at 11:58 pm
Is the texture on the jacket a skeleton? If so, it's cool level is significantly raised.

What a great shot! I love it! It creates an air of mystery and substance. If the cars were replaced with an alley, I would like it as a framed print. I aspire to look like that from behind…. And her foot – is that a tango toe tip??
