wow. she is beautiful. I don't know if it's the strong dark eyebrows or details like her nose ring. But I really love this picture.

April 13, 2011 at 3:43 pm
I have to say her hair looks so elegant and natural. Being a hairdresser, I appreciate very well the way you see her look.

April 13, 2011 at 4:19 pm
she is rocking that nose ring like no other. awesome.
April 13, 2011 at 4:20 pm
This certainly does not surprise me but your pictures from Milan are among the most impressive: people seem to be most beautiful & most stylish.
April 13, 2011 at 4:22 pm
she is striking
this is proof that having well manicured brows frames the face!! The updo adds to this as well
This pic took my breath away at the first glance. She is unbelieveably beautiful.
April 13, 2011 at 4:23 pm
She's beautiful, but I don't understand the nose ring. Perhaps I'm too conventional or conservative. It is difficult for me to fathom what would possess this girl to look in the mirror and think that she'd look better with a nose ring.
It certainly makes her more interesting, but not in a good way.
April 13, 2011 at 4:26 pm
WOW! this lady is so beautiful. is that a little beauty mark I spy? It looks almost like it could have been drawn or tattooed on. what a cool tattoo that would be! and her eyebrows… so striking. overall, this is one of my favorite portraits that I've seen on the sartorialist in a while.
April 13, 2011 at 4:27 pm
love the nose ring <3
Aha!! I love her! The eyes are so big, it's almost like it’s not enough space on the face for them. Does it make sense? It does to me :) And I love faces where everything is big and proportional – eyebrows, lips, cheekbones. Good one! And no-makeup look works for her!
April 13, 2011 at 4:28 pm
What a gorgeous woman! Her eyebrows are perfect. Stunning photo.
April 13, 2011 at 4:30 pm
I gasped and, for a moment, could not get any air. She is stunning and the gentle softness of both the color and the texture of the sweater are like a visual hug. I am breathing again, thank you very much!

It doesnt look like she had to make a big effort to look like this.. very natural yet amazingly beautiful!!
April 13, 2011 at 5:24 pm
a lesson in "less is more." the stud earrings, full brows and a messy bun. wish I could see her nail color, would guess its a natural shade or maybe very dark.
April 13, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Wow… She is beautiful. Love her ears so much.

April 13, 2011 at 8:00 pm
Really perfect. You are genius!
April 13, 2011 at 9:11 pm
Little do you know, you may be starting an aesthetic revolution. We've been told for quite some time by Hollywood/Madison Avenue/current powers that be, what to call beautiful. You're causing us to take a look at what's beautiful around us rather than blindly accept others' ideas of it. Imagine.
April 13, 2011 at 9:26 pm
I think she is keeping a secret!Beautiful shot
April 13, 2011 at 9:52 pm
im guessing she is a no-nonsense girl! :D

I think it's rather hard to find a nose ring that actually looks good on someone, but this, this fits perfectly.Thanks.
April 13, 2011 at 11:40 pm
I generally dislike metal and piercings (exc. ears) intensely, but on her, the nosering looks great! It just fits where it is so well… Beautiful features!
April 14, 2011 at 12:00 am
she is beautiful, love the color on her lips
April 14, 2011 at 12:37 am

April 14, 2011 at 2:43 am
Looks like a modern version of a still from a '50s movie–there's glamour and drama for sure, and the pose suggests some vulnerability, but there's also strength, edginess, and lack of obvious artifice here. Love the nose ring!
April 14, 2011 at 5:37 am
her strong brows add depth to her beauty.
April 14, 2011 at 6:27 am
You can essentially see her feelings. Beautiful.

April 14, 2011 at 10:38 am
her nose ring is so perfect.
April 14, 2011 at 11:07 am
I love how this photo is so much more than fashion. It evokes a whole interior life of a person.
April 14, 2011 at 11:28 am
It all works together – the hair, makeup, ring, sweater…and I wish I knew her lipstick color. (as if that would magically transform me into her likeness!)
April 14, 2011 at 11:37 am
classic beautiful face.i don't understand the purpose of a nose ring…it can't be just ornamentation..the double pierced diamond studs in her ears fulfill that.
this photo kind of reminds me of a comment which i once read that jean shrimpton made about her beauty.she said that the only time she could look at her face in a mirror was when the mirror was cracked.
April 14, 2011 at 12:25 pm
Amazing. Classic beauty.
April 14, 2011 at 1:30 pm
I think she was blessed with enormous beauty. It happens.
April 14, 2011 at 2:14 pm
Elegant, intellectual, sweet and beautiful!! Notice how her dark eyebrows are carried through her nose ring and onto her finger ring elongating her face even more?
April 14, 2011 at 4:46 pm
She is a staggering beauty. And this photo is so evocative…. she seems like an actress, there is so much being conveyed in her face and pose.
I kind of hate the nose ring, though. It doesn't look ornamental or add anything to her face… looks like a surgical staple.
April 14, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Love this photo.

The hand around the throat is gorgeous. I love the narrative implied by that gesture.
April 21, 2011 at 12:19 pm
Deep-set eyes, red lipstick — or is that a natural? Pretty picture.
April 24, 2011 at 7:36 pm
