It's interesting how she's head to toe black until you hit the soles of her shoes. Also cool that you have the sunlight hitting her but not washing her out. Good job.

Love her outfit, she looks so cool

She looks more East Village than West. She's taking acting classes at the nearby HB Studio? At a certain time in NewYork, her style would be described as "downtown". Not anymore.

I like how the lights and shadows all fall into place together.
April 20, 2011 at 11:01 am
Great lighting-the shadows, cobblestones and how her face color matches the soles of her stylish boots. The jacket zippers accessorize the look.
April 20, 2011 at 11:21 am
The whole outfit is divine! Love the plaid shirt peeking out from her cool jacket.

Didn't even know there was a Bank St. and I've lived here for 21 years!
April 20, 2011 at 6:49 pm
Love this – detail is exquisite. Straight off seems to be head to toe black but then the heel of the boot, the dark brown pashmina, the flash of check, the zip line, all make you look twice.

i keep on coming back here hoping to find a post about 'curvy' girls, more examples of people who reconfigure the skinny/fashionable mold to suit their own bodies..there are many of us out there who aren't born into a bird-like slender bodytype but who heart fashion nonetheless.
Looking forward to it, scott!
