What happened to those models. Every one of them looks exhausted and really could have used some body makeup to cover their bruised up legs. Kinda of shocking for Valentino. Maybe the lighting of the show just isn't working with the photography but wow. I think of Valentino as being so elegant and those girls just look rough. I'm having a hard time separating the clothes from the mannequin.
What a bore! God Bless Lagerfeld for just bringing it down to the level we can all live with. Even way up where it all happens. Why is Ms. Horyn so …grumpy? She was dead on today. love you always. Even now.
I just recently watched that documentary on the life of , Valentino: The Last Emperor. I have to say it gave a rare glimpse into the fashion world that regular folks rarely see. My view has sincerely changed and I appreciate as a fellow artist the time and commitment that goes along with making such beautiful garments.
Wow! I love all the pieces here! Deep burgundy; beautiful nudes, the zig zag paillettes, the textures, the jewel necks, the thin thin belts; the long sleeves…Everything! So classic and yet so refreshing! I love Valentino!
Love all these except the fur coat :( – just not sure about wearing farmed fur even if it is all over the place! For very, very old ladies yes but otherwise ……… not really. The other clothes are just stunning!
Clever series here, Scott. The first four are practically the exact same image – each of the ladies has the same profile and the exact same pose. And then there's the fifth… Same pose, but a slight difference.
I am absolutely gaga over the Valentino post show photos. Beginning with that beige trench coat; I am beside myself. There is a picture of an older gentlemen in a wonderful suit with grey hair that looks absolutely stunning.
Amazing as always. Valentino has always always been my favourite. Provides such inspiration for me. Its lovely to see his beautiful work be continued on
