p.s.: I regularly look through your blog. Love your work much! I hope you come in Moscow soon. There are many beautiful people, streets, avenues, buildings, cute café and many other great things! I think you and your camera fill in love this place. I hope so ) xo-xo
A gorgeous shot Scott. The morning light is so lovely in Florence and I love the street traffic, bicycle wise, thrown in with the man in the forefront wearing his very stylish ensemble. He looks familiar, one of your regulars?
What a great shot! I love the details of this man's outfit– the scarf protruding from the bottom of his jacket, the pocket square, and the cuffed trousers.. effortless and so perfect!
that is stylish, even if a little bulky. i have only seen scarves worn with such length previously by women so it is nice that he feels comfortable enough to grace this look.
Love this picture! Has a great light and atmosphere. Very interesting way of wearing a scarf, by the way. Relaxed yet classy. Great picture, in a nutshell.
Wow! The shadows moving forward, the muted, mauve lighting and that great scarf. I love the surprise element in the outfits of the people you select. A man who looks professorial, like this gentleman, would never be expected to be wearing such an outrageous scarf and yet he is.
Love the plaid man from Milan and the colorful girl from Seoul, but please give us some more New York! I want to see examples of New Yorkers successfully dressing themselves for winter–attempting to maintain visual interest while still dressing practically for these frigid temperatures. Plus, I find it's harder to be visually interesting in February than in December when winter has just begun and you haven't exhausted all wardrobe possibilities. So let's see some of those people that are still doing it well.
I love the composition of the picture, the lights and the shadows are great. I also love the way the man on the left is wearing. His attitude is casual but very elegant.
This is a gorgeous shot, Sartorialist! I love the lighting in it, and the slight lense flare. Gorgeous. With bicycles. Love it.
I love how he's tucked in his scarf. I've seen women belt long scarves before, which is also awesome; this seems a little like a masculine counterpart to that idea.
I always love men in scarves. More men need to realize their necks are cold. It looks great, and it's so simple.
Love the blog,Ive been reading for about 6 months now, I'm hooked. I particularly love this kind of shot. Your work makes me think of Henry Cartier-Bresson's photography, the same feeling of capturing a beautiful, perhaps un-noticed moment.
