Is the first model Karolina Kurkova? She's so gorgeous! And I love the outfit in the 4th picture, I am going to dig through my wardrobe for an "inspired version."
And here I was thinking that one could really see the influence of a cold winter on most of the collections – the belted sweaters over ball gown skirts at Prabal. The cape coats at both Wang and Altazurra. The heavy wool at Steven Alan and Band of O, and the lace decorated wool at Wu.
I love the last coat, and dress. I feel like sometimes the East coast gets left out which is kind of funny because fashion week is in NYC. My Heart Blogged
I really like the mix of grunge and glam here (love the mis-buttoned argyle…), and you're right–there's something about these looks that reads as "wearable." I'm inspired!
it makes me so happy to see someone with purple legs!(the 7th image)… I've got those too haha it makes me look so sickly. but i hope it turns into a trend!
Well, maybe it's a small issue, but I love the new lipstick color! This really great red suits nearly every type of women. I think lipstick is a great accessiore for women. Makes me feel feme fatale!
I love the gray skirt and then the long coat both shown with argyle sweaters. I also love the white sweater. Great looks for a practical Fall/Winter – as you said.
Joseph Altuzarra now starts to play more with colors and materials & develops his own style. Liked most the metalic colored dresses and pants in combination with the transparent elements. great work! http://www.wearona.com/posts/us-youngstars-at-ny-fashionweek-11
As a Chicagoan, I likewise appreciate the cold-weather gear. I like that there's still a feeling of lightness and effortlessness, though. That nude dress is by far my favorite piece. So subtle and yet so rich.
The color story of this collection is really beautiful, there are a few things I am not crazy about but as an overall collection very wearable. The giant fur collar in the fur photo is incredible and i love the contour lines in the fitted gray skirt.

Yes, I agree. A Fall/Winter collection should have some of the models wearing coats/jackets, as it is something you'll need to have.

A persuasive and wearable looking collection based on the short, fur lined parka. Textures and shapes mixed with cool confidence.
More down to earth than the contrived aliens presented by Alexander Wang, if less avant-garde.

The makeup in Altuzarra is always impeccable! :)
And the way he does legs on a woman reminds me of michael kors but he does a new twist on the leg silhouette.
