Geez Scott, your eyes can cut glass, they’re so sharp. The ladies should have fun with that.
That coat is hugging you very well btw…..
February 6, 2009 at 10:24 am
So great to see the man behind THE SARTORIALIST.You look great and as always impeccable. I love how the shades of blue make your eyes pop.

Love your Coat Scott. Nice Fit!
February 6, 2009 at 10:50 am
the second guy looks pretty sleek. any clues on who that is? :)
I like the tiny touches of blue in the picture (the cuffs, the eyes, the pillar), they add a nice balance to it.
When r u coming to Mexico City Mr. Sart?
February 6, 2009 at 10:53 am
Oh Scott! We love you and your blog so!!!!!
February 6, 2009 at 11:14 am

The hunter has become the hunted.
February 6, 2009 at 11:25 am
Show-stoppingly sexy. Whew.
February 6, 2009 at 11:31 am
all I can say is the guy in the second photo is smokin’ hot ;)
seriously now, I am a big fan of the combination of brown and grey. for me, it blurs the lines of brown vs. black and further proves that a mix of neutrals always works.

February 6, 2009 at 12:30 pm
I like the hair of the dude in the bottom picture. Is he famous or cool or something?
February 6, 2009 at 12:31 pm
An elegant colour combination. you are wearing a lovely coat Sart and i love the touches of yellow ochre and blue. Those details really make it. [Incidently i have almost the same intense shade of blue-gray eyes that provoke a lot of comments, it can be a bit disconcerting!]
February 6, 2009 at 12:33 pm
Sart, you should appear more often.Come on, don’t be shy… =)Cristina
February 6, 2009 at 12:49 pm

February 6, 2009 at 1:40 pm
I’ve said this before but it bears repeating twice: To be the subject of his intense gaze…
February 6, 2009 at 1:55 pm
Wow, Scott…just had a ‘Gatsby’ moment. Great pic! You’re looking like the archetypical American of the mythic past.
Tres bien fait!
February 6, 2009 at 1:56 pm
Ol' Blue Eyes.
Lovely coat, Sart. Smashing color & cut.
February 6, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Brown, gray and blue.
Here we have two very handsome dudes rocking a great color combo that can work for anyone depending on which piece is brown, which is blue and which is gray… Brown coats don’t work for me ’cause I’m a brown girl and it’s just too much but as pants brown is fine with blue or gray on top.
Top guy really works that beenie (is that what it is?) and I’m a fan of that length and style of beard. Isn’t that Maria Cristina behind him?
Bottom shot, whoever that guy is, knows how to “give great eye”. And whoa, that jacket is sharp as a shard of glass and hugs him perfectly. But you gotta have a body for that… and boy does this mystery man have the body. What shoulders…. What eyes! Yummy!
February 6, 2009 at 2:02 pm
Sart, you look amazing…you should put more photos of you here…see, everyone is happy to see your style which is btw fantastic and we did’t expect any different.Tnx, you are constant inspiration to me:)
February 6, 2009 at 2:07 pm

February 6, 2009 at 2:24 pm
Such a great colour combination – one I have long been a fan of, and one two really great looking guys
February 6, 2009 at 2:46 pm
I can’t get over The Sart’s very long, refined fingers.
February 6, 2009 at 3:16 pm

February 6, 2009 at 4:13 pm

February 6, 2009 at 4:16 pm
I love the blue sweater sleeves peeking underneath that dark chocolate color coat. Perfect, perfect!
February 6, 2009 at 4:20 pm
A great smile….the perfect accessory.
February 6, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Both photos – gorgeous style, gorgeous men. I am loving these winter photos with the great scarves and coats. Makes me almost wish spring wouldn’t come (but just almost).
February 6, 2009 at 4:43 pm
One of my favorite color combos. Just perfect!
February 6, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Re: the top picture – by some bizarre co-incidence i watched Grey Gardens on dvd last night..anyone who is familiar with Little Edie’s headwear will know what i mean. Sart, it’s great to see you! who made your coat? You have exemplary color sense.
February 6, 2009 at 5:03 pm
here’s looking at you!
February 6, 2009 at 5:13 pm
love the color combanation and the gloves in the pocket
February 6, 2009 at 6:00 pm
For your consideration:
1 – A flower on your lapel would add a sartorial dimension of color
2 – Might your coat sleeves be too long, or your shirt sleeves too short?
February 6, 2009 at 7:08 pm
that second dude looks kinda familar..
February 6, 2009 at 7:09 pm
Dear sart, you should post your outfit more often,Love, nasne.
February 6, 2009 at 7:29 pm
the hat at the top? love. and yes. your eyes do look nice.
February 6, 2009 at 8:12 pm

February 6, 2009 at 9:12 pm
Sart, you even have beautiful hands…
February 6, 2009 at 9:41 pm

February 6, 2009 at 9:49 pm
Hey that looks like YOU. You just had to try the grey/brown trend, eth? And it looks mighty fine on you too!
February 6, 2009 at 9:57 pm
damn you’re fine
February 6, 2009 at 10:07 pm
I have i critique if you don’t mind; on all of your pictures, your clothes are wonderful, you nail everything – everything but the most important thing.. its something you dont put on, but put out. Its that little thing that makes clothes you wear look like they’ve been on you since the day you were born. It’s not just your pics, there are quite a few people you’ve shot that look just like those clothes dont belong to them.
Thank you for this awesome site, keep up the good work!
February 6, 2009 at 10:33 pm
well then who’s behind the camera?
great shots btw
Dan in Richmond
I love both looks, and nice to see you!

People with such blue eyes look so good wearing pieces that match their colour that I don’t understand why they don’t do that all the time.
February 7, 2009 at 9:54 am
Whew, great pics and love the grey-brown-with-touches-of-blue-combo. So that’s Sart? Very Sartorialist! And have I got a scarf for you : )

I like how you did the glove thing in your pocket like the pic you posted a few weeks ago. Like the blue shirt sticking out but its cool that the grey scarf makes your eyes look bluer when i wear grey it totally washes my blue eyes out
February 9, 2009 at 9:33 pm

May 30, 2012 at 12:22 pm
Very chic for everyday life.
Remember I said I would try to capture my partner the family album? Well somehow he got away and now it’s raining cats and dogs.
I will try this weekend again. Garance does an excellent job of capturing you. It can so hard to photograph family.

When I was a kid I remember asking my mum about grey and brown together. She frowned and said they don’t ‘go.’ Ha! I differ, Mum.
