January 17, 2011 at 8:12 am
I want her hair!!!!
January 17, 2011 at 8:15 am
Like her Dries van Noten style with her black baggy pants and her navy longsleeve. it looks so damn cool on her, but the shoes are a little bit odd in that combination! by the way..I like the man in the backround on the right side so much in his grey style and his brown leather boots, which fit extraordinary well. Like everytime a nice shot!
January 17, 2011 at 8:16 am
Really nice, is a rare combination but nice :)http://justamemoryblog.blogspot.com/
January 17, 2011 at 8:17 am
ahh.. she looks so relaxed and comfy.. wish i could be in her shoes right now. In the office, pulling my hair out!
January 17, 2011 at 8:19 am
yes, those boots do stand out with what she's wearing but that's ok,a little color adds to her look.
January 17, 2011 at 8:23 am
I want her shoes.. Love this look..Lee x
Love the hair and Dries van Noten-look, not sure about the shoes though…
January 17, 2011 at 8:24 am
Calm and comfort in the midst of chaos. Love it! Great shot.
January 17, 2011 at 8:26 am
I'm amazed by these comments. Dusty I'll-fitting pants? Check. Baggy sweatshirt? Check. Ugly slipper boots? Check. Overlong, uncombed hair? Check! if this is fashion then please be sure to drop by and see what I wear when I walk the dog first thing in the morning, especially when I'm home sick with the flu!
The fellow behind her (was she caught in her boyfriend's clothes on a walk of shame?) looks very interesting. Especially his cross buttoned sweater!
January 17, 2011 at 8:27 am
I have a strange craving for her shoes, they seem very southern americano descent, which is the weird euoproia i've been portraying for the last couple of days or so…Hmmm. Anyway, i adore the lighting on her face-as i've already said so in a previous snapshot, i think you are a genious at that, you never seem to capture a negative flaw. The baggy, boyish, drag-down look im discovering to be quite appealing. X Neda Xhttp://stylemontage-neda.blogspot.com/

the visual life documentary was so inspiring, it was the thing I was waiting for.
You've got me obsessed with inky blue/black. It's all I think about when I look in my closet, and when I'm walking through crowds it's the thing that draws my attention. I also love the boots on the chap to her left. I believe they are Red Wings and J.Crew had a partnership them for a while, perhaps they still do.
January 17, 2011 at 9:30 am
i like the relaxed feel to this look!
Love the laid-back vibe, and her jumper is perfect x
January 17, 2011 at 9:33 am
Extremely comfy looking, she makes me want to change immediately. I am jealous of her long locks.
cashmere pearls 'n' boots
i need those boots. j'adore
January 17, 2011 at 9:37 am
She's not trying too hard. I think with her figure, complexion, and hair, she can get away with wearing just about anything. I think that what really makes this picture beautiful is the expression on her face–she looks so serene and centered and warm.

Gorgeous hair! Blondes always look chic in navy.
This shows that you don't need to wear short and tight close to be sexy.. do you hear me young ladies??? lol

I think this is an excellent photo that tells us that it not what you wear but how you wear it that makes it. She looks comfortable and confident so this suits very well on her. I am also liking the man behind her even though he seems a bit stressed and desoriented.
January 17, 2011 at 10:33 am
I like the unexpectedness of this photo.
January 17, 2011 at 10:34 am
I am not sure how I feel about the outfit. At first response I didn't like it, but after reading everyones comments I decided that I could potentially wear this when running errands. However, I was drawn to the photograph. It is absolutely phenomenal. She is captured in such a simple moment, but I am genuinely interested in meeting her calm and soft exterior. This outfit is…approachable.

When I first looked at the picture I thought, what is so special about it? The woman is wearing rather ordinary black clothes and messy hair. But when I looked down, I saw that the long hair pointed to those amazing boots. They give her an air of intrigue.
January 17, 2011 at 11:03 am
Love the picture!…the outfit is perfect
love the shoes!

gorgeous hair, but i'm not sure if i like this outfit)guess it more all about the moment, that's captured, not her look..)
January 17, 2011 at 11:34 am
I love the boots (very shabby-chic style) of the girl!!
January 17, 2011 at 11:36 am
She looks comfortable & studly. Nice glasses on the guy in the back.

Me encanta este estilo!! Se ve muy comodo!!
January 17, 2011 at 11:45 am
A great picture!! Love the stillness in it, simultaneously as there's lots of motions in it. And her style is amazing! What fascinates me most, though, is her facial expression. I think that's how Mona Lisa would look like today..
January 17, 2011 at 11:49 am
Great picture! I love the stillness in it, simultaneously as there's lots of motions. I adore her style! What fascinates me most, though, is her facial expression. If Da Vinci would have painted Mona Lisa today, that's how she would look like.

Love the composition of the photo and her shoes are awesome…
January 17, 2011 at 12:57 pm
I find this outfit a bit too casual and shapeless. Anyway, her, standing firmly while everybody seems active around her, is interesting ; and the sun lightning is so pretty! You didn't say where you get this picture : still in Italy ?

The almost ombre style of her hair is so flattering, it's mermaid like! The shoes look so comfortable, I'd ditch my Uggs for a pair of those!
love the outfit but still can't get over the man's gray sweater in the back. it's fabulous and convenient.
January 17, 2011 at 2:09 pm
WOW I have boots of the same caliber, lucky me! I thought I am the only one who favours them, but now I see they are almost the trend! Beauty, handicraft and comfyness rule!
January 17, 2011 at 2:30 pm
Ha! The surrounding action, the flowing locks & her posture all bring to mind Botticelli's Venus.
And in a weird way, the "just got out of bed" look seems more intimate than nudity. Love it.

Very smart woman.
She didn't overdo it with unnecessary accessories and let the boots be the focus.
January 17, 2011 at 3:10 pm

Looks androgyn to me – or am I so much used to longhaired gay androgyn looking people here in Cologne?
January 17, 2011 at 3:41 pm
I like the pants, nothing fancy here, just plain clothes on a beautiful woman, but I like the casual look.
January 17, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Very nice shot ! She seems completely out of the scene, completely with the person on phone (sure, her boyfriend !)Kind regardsJean
January 17, 2011 at 4:01 pm
The gold shoes details do really great job!
January 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Her hair provides such an accent!
January 17, 2011 at 4:23 pm
She looks comfy I really want to be her right now.
January 17, 2011 at 4:35 pm
Looks like she just rolled out of bed, I'm the first to be lazy and dress comfy. Minus her hair, I don't find anything special here. You can find girls dressed like this on any college campus during the morning class commute.

January 17, 2011 at 6:51 pm
Commenters on here so suffer from the 'Emperor's New Clothes by Proxy Syndrome' it's ridiculous. She's basically wearing a circus costume and people here are on the ground worshipping her.
January 17, 2011 at 6:56 pm
January 17, 2011 at 7:09 pm
I don't think this is anything spectacular…and yes, I do know how to appreciate style so please no outraged comments for something that is my opinion.

Ha Nice one xx

Lovely lady. But please take off those shoes.
January 18, 2011 at 4:05 am
It looks funny, but it's her style.
January 18, 2011 at 4:33 am
Nice shot. And I like this slouchy baggy look a lot, especially the pants and how she dressed it all down with the boots. This is what I (would) wear.
January 18, 2011 at 6:17 am
It seems very easy to wear these kinds of clothes, but very difficult.Well balanced, high sensed.

Yes, this woman is beautiful. OK. But she is wearing an outfit I've seen on toddlers dropped off at daycare.

January 18, 2011 at 12:11 pm
Love this outfitRelaxed and comfyLove her surfer girl hair
January 18, 2011 at 12:22 pm
casual and comfy outfit is cool; shoes are a meh. personally, only a north american indigenous person can pull off their traditional footwear; on anyone else it doesn't have the same beauty and strength. her hair is beautiful against the black of her outfit. but, the combo with the boots and the look on the face gives off a "i'm trying too hard look". love the man in the background though!
January 18, 2011 at 12:36 pm
If you hair looks good you can pull anything off!!!
January 18, 2011 at 1:53 pm
Am I the only person who thinks this might be a dude? Totally handsome!
January 18, 2011 at 2:09 pm
nice girl … but what is so stylish about that sloppy outfit ???
loved and found
January 18, 2011 at 3:20 pm
this look really does it for me- especially since I just had a baby and only have oversized stuff left in my closet. I think its the boots that nail it…the hair helps too

January 18, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Ouch! Is everyone looking at the same pitcure? Can't say I'm a big fan of "dump in the daiper" sweats.Honestly, they look like they're for a person three times her size! Now, the guy standing behind her, love the sweater, scarf, and sunglasses. The whole look is appealing!
January 18, 2011 at 9:05 pm
Overall very schlumpy and those boots are truly awful. Weird to see on your site.
January 19, 2011 at 12:43 am
i like the guys outfit in the background.
January 19, 2011 at 4:08 am
I cant imagine those shoes are comfortable… nice hair, great sweater.
January 19, 2011 at 6:03 am
What about the shoes the guy is wearing. Does anybody know where I can find these? Timberland?
January 19, 2011 at 6:55 am
I do not like his outfit, but he does have beautiful hair
January 19, 2011 at 8:44 am
Shoe ID request. The dude to the right of the woman appears to be wearing Red Wing boots/chukkas (another poster seems to think so too). Can anyone with shoe-fu confirm that they are? IF so, model?

love the boots/shoes, amazing!!!!
January 19, 2011 at 11:56 pm
The one look that creeps me out is the upside down sweatshirt worn as pants and cinched at the waist. The saggy crotch reminds me of my mother in law's incontinent days. At least this is monochromatic, hiding the line somewhat. Otherwise, okay.
January 20, 2011 at 5:56 am
Its a dude, the big cloths are ment to keep the poor guy warm.
January 20, 2011 at 12:41 pm
The boots are excellent and outfit is not going with other things so if you are in funky look then it must be maintained.
January 20, 2011 at 3:38 pm
I'm with Petey (8:26 a.m.). I'm astounded by all the love for this look. Baggy, dumpy sweats and frumpy boots, messy hair? Looks half this careless get scolded here regularly; what redeems this one? I don't see it. And I am a big fan of comfort. I just don't see how the look in this photo merits *this* much admiration, even given the (perfectly appropriate) open-minded acceptance of all kinds of individual style expressed on this blog.

January 21, 2011 at 2:59 pm
Liking the contrast of the hustle and bustle around the subject while she's just standing there in a stationary moment. The fashion (even lack thereof) and the composition tells the story well.
January 22, 2011 at 9:12 am
That guy back there makes me laugh a little.
January 22, 2011 at 3:23 pm
i adore people who wear no colour at all and still make a statement-THOSE BOOTS! oh, those boots.
January 22, 2011 at 9:40 pm
OMG! she looks so down-to-earth, skateboarder/snowboarder, laid-back type. She is so fierce! Love the pants tucked into the high moccasins and the way she wrapped the laces. I also love her expression, as if she's saying "yeah, I see him" to her boyfriend on the phone. Wonder who she's looking at..
January 25, 2011 at 5:39 pm

She is stunningly beautiful with a bit of style. One has to have one or the other in quality.
