I absolutely love that her skirt is just a hint shorter than her coat, makes the whole look so much more attractive.

The colors work really well together!

This is what feminine is all about. The skirt length is so flattering, shoes are as delicate as her legs, and over all silhoutte is delightful. A feast on the eye.
March 2, 2009 at 9:53 am
how beautiful, especially the shoes!
Love the colours combination and the laid-back look.
March 2, 2009 at 10:04 am
Again I love the colors and the mix of materials. Also the beauty of this gorgeous woman. The hair, the coat, the top, the skirt, the tights and shoes. WONDERFUL!

That coat makes my heart skip a beat. This ensemble looks so comfortable yet so pulled together.

Very elegant. I am not a fan of brown colors in general but she perfectly mixes brown and black! She really looks great.

I love her coat. just beautiful.
March 2, 2009 at 11:20 am
Nice look overall. A little dull for my tastes. I think this could be quite exceptional with some standout accessory or pop of unexpected color. Perhaps a refined belt would have done the trick.
I love the color and the skirt. She looks so put together!!
March 2, 2009 at 11:29 am
i love her mysterious smile and how lovely her shoes!!
March 2, 2009 at 11:43 am
The colors seem perfect for a rainy, dreary day.
March 2, 2009 at 12:02 pm
Oh those colors…and with her skin tone and dark hair, it’s all so very pretty.
March 2, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Very beautiful! I wonder what height she is? She seems to be petite, right or wrong, Sart?
March 2, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Incredibly beautiful, from head to toe.

Loving the colors and materials. And the shoes of course!
March 2, 2009 at 2:11 pm
I love tweed!
March 2, 2009 at 2:15 pm
This is a remarkable look. Pace Anonymous 11:20, I think the shoes, the detail at the neckline, and the shine of the skirt picking up the lighter tones of the tweed are enough to make the look transcendent.
Dear Sartorialist, Since your site no longer allows for enlargements, it seems, would it be possible for you to supplement the full-look images with one or two detail shots (e.g. of the neckline here). If I recall, you used to do this more often. Thanks!

The shoes are divine! I love the black and brown color-pairing, and the cozy, casual chic of the coat. Gorgeous!
March 2, 2009 at 3:05 pm
this is my idea of perfect…sexy without showing one inch of skin, soft without pastels, classy but not too clean, expensive without being obvious. adore.

March 2, 2009 at 6:06 pm
where do I get this coat?!?!?!??!?!
March 2, 2009 at 6:28 pm
I love how the colour of her lips compliments the rest of her outfit. This woman’s face is captivating. She manages to wear her clothes and not the other way around.
March 2, 2009 at 6:35 pm
The tone of deep colors fits her maturity, yet the tight fitting of the cloths gave her a youthful look. Great combination or colors and the fitting!
March 2, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Nice classic tweed coat with skirt of colour like coat!!
March 2, 2009 at 7:11 pm

her whole outfit is amazing..and she is gorgeous….lovely colors
March 3, 2009 at 2:28 am
Stunning outfit and she is just gorgeous. I love the brown tights, or are they grey?
March 3, 2009 at 3:31 am
Looking so easy and divine in all brown is not everybody´s privileg.
I also love these brownie shades. When I was blond, i could wear them without problem. A couple of month ago I shaded my hair brown, and i was shocked, how colorless mouse I became. :-(((Today i have an appointment with the hairdresser…I get my blond back….but my brown cloths stay.
March 3, 2009 at 5:48 am

The different tones of brown suit her perfectly, maybe it’s the light of rainy day that pulls it together?
March 4, 2009 at 5:54 pm
one word: gorgeous.
March 4, 2009 at 11:43 pm
Brown? Wine? The photo makes the color fall in between and into something very rich and indescribable.
Browns and navies are on this blog a lot this season. Kudos!
March 5, 2009 at 5:50 am
Everything is just so about this woman, the muted yet jewel colours, the softness of the coat, the elegance of the shoes, the casual beauty of her hair. Perfect.
