June 17, 2010 at 8:05 am
What I love the most about this (apart from her flats) is her confidence. Gorgeous girl and gorgeous photo.
it might be a great sequined top but the sandals are the stars
June 17, 2010 at 8:11 am
I especially love the cut of the armhole on her top. She is oozing style. Exquisite!
Love the PANTS! The 4/5 length is SO under-utilised. Power!
Love it :)
June 17, 2010 at 8:15 am
LOVE HER SANDALS <3 AND THE COLOR OF HER PANTALONShttp://ljubljanafashionavenue.blogspot.com/

The Year in Pictures
What a great picture! I love the scale play between the subject and the background figures as well as this woman's cool!
June 17, 2010 at 8:24 am
The background really makes a difference!
June 17, 2010 at 8:26 am
Amazing picture, the top is adorable!
June 17, 2010 at 8:27 am
Wow, that pic is amazing. The background !And the woman is… "la classe italienne". Nice trousers, hair cut, necklace, shoes. Every thing. The wall you found is perfect for this photo. I wonder what is this bottle she holds.
Thanks again for your blog.
June 17, 2010 at 8:33 am
I love it!!! What a great idea. Sequins in the day with flats and rolled up pants. Great look. Wonderful photo, by the way.

June 17, 2010 at 8:40 am
I'm a huge fan of sequined for day and this top is beautiful and has a great cut.
June 17, 2010 at 8:42 am
Cool ' simple chic'. Style not fashion . Fabulous.
June 17, 2010 at 8:44 am
cute, but not so sure about the pants…not flattering at all. they kind of remind me of a garbage bag :S but its all good, we all have those risqué days…
this girl is stunning. i am in love with her pants.
June 17, 2010 at 8:47 am
Wow, great look! I love the balance between the delicate sandals and the no-fuss trousers.
Love her pants.

June 17, 2010 at 8:50 am
How funny, this is so similar to what I am wearung today. Not sequins but (kind of) french emmbelished white top.
I love to wear something rather night-ish during the day every once in a while
June 17, 2010 at 8:54 am
wow, this top is gorgeous!!! love the headband as well :)
I realyy lover HER!!!!!!!!!!
June 17, 2010 at 8:57 am
Beautiful style! I'm in love with the pants and shoes. Fantastic. x,
She's beautiful. Love her eyebrows!
The outfit is fun, but I'm not digging the fit of her pants. I'll never get into the baggy-pant look, especially when it makes one's bum look three times bigger than it is.
I also appreciate the colour contrast of this photo, with the blues, whites, and greys. Superb.
simple love Florence's causeless, relax but confident
can't believe i am the first one who leave message here :)

June 17, 2010 at 9:01 am
Really pretty…sometimes sequins can be overdone jersey-style (no judgement! I'm a jersey girl myself) so it's nice to see it done in a soft elegant way…
June 17, 2010 at 9:02 am
I love the background! Beautiful picture!
June 17, 2010 at 9:03 am
beautiful two tone
June 17, 2010 at 9:11 am
I simply adores how soft she looks, what a wonderful weekend out and about combo. The sequined top during day I was not feeling but it is awesome.
June 17, 2010 at 9:13 am
quelle allure !
June 17, 2010 at 9:15 am
Nice photo. Great casual outfit–the style of the top allows it to be worn by day even if sequinned–although I'm not sure I would've noticed if it hadn't been written. Love the strappy sandals and background.
Looking good!Especially love her sandals and the ribbon in her hair.
June 17, 2010 at 9:23 am
love her sandle !!
The Sluice Box
June 17, 2010 at 9:25 am
The Fellini-like background is perfect for this very Italian shot.

June 17, 2010 at 9:39 am
LOVE the street art, the rest is a little American Apparel no?
June 17, 2010 at 9:40 am
great pose and posture
June 17, 2010 at 9:56 am
I like her attitude…smiles.
Total elegance. The ease of the pieces and of the woman herself are fantastically attractive.
As for the fit of the pants, I think a loose pant drawn in at the waist can be–and, here, is–a tremendously sexy look. I don't necessarily look for "sexy" in an ensemble., but this woman has definitely got that. I am more seduced by her eye: LOVE HER EYE.
June 17, 2010 at 10:01 am
ahhh, ive been looking for a sequin top like that!!
June 17, 2010 at 10:11 am
Beautiful simplicity. Love the delicate necklaces, they finish it off perfectly
June 17, 2010 at 10:25 am
She is so italian with her feminine styling. I like the high waisted chino pants and the delicate string sandales.Reduced style.
June 17, 2010 at 10:32 am
I love how this outfit is so simple and elegant that what truly stands out is how beautiful her face is.
Las Lolicas de ayer, hoy y siempre
I love that outfit, i love your blog…
June 17, 2010 at 10:44 am
amazing. I really love all of your shots of Italian women, they're probably my favorite thing on your wonderful blog.
June 17, 2010 at 10:47 am
It's really cool how her arms are not sickly bony but elegant and strong. Kudos for highlighting that with a fresh, sleeveless shirt. ^_^
Summer brings another kind of cool.
June 17, 2010 at 10:59 am
Although seen the paintings on the wall, it's great!
Love her outfit! So simple but very chic!

I love the photo and i like the background too with the dancers(upper of wall)dancing on the ruins(bottom of walls).
June 17, 2010 at 11:07 am
One of my favorites I have seen in a while! I love that top for day, and the rolled up pants…effortless
June 17, 2010 at 11:16 am
Love her skin tone and her hair band, very stylish…and despite the great background she still manages to pop out. x
June 17, 2010 at 11:30 am
love that, and the background is amazing.

So fabulous, I love it.
June 17, 2010 at 12:45 pm
June 17, 2010 at 1:06 pm
I love this look, daring with the white sequins and the plain pants. I personally like carrot pants, they are easy and new. Rolled up is how they should be. Because she's Italian, she has the access to the most beautiful necklaces in the world.
June 17, 2010 at 1:07 pm
Her outfit is great, but I especially love her hairdo. Great style!
June 17, 2010 at 1:18 pm
love this photo, great scene
June 17, 2010 at 1:28 pm
it seems as though the wall was painted around her. a dynamic snapshot (per usual).
June 17, 2010 at 1:32 pm
She's got the most gorgeous skin and she radiates calm confidence. I'm on board with everything, but I'm going to have to sit on the bench with the people who aren't loving the pants. It looks like she bought them when she was fifteen pounds heavier. They make me see the ghost of her bigger self. Some 1960's fit pedal pushers would make this a home run. She really is a beauty nevertheless.
June 17, 2010 at 1:49 pm
The wall is a great backdrop and I love everything about it-even the pants. She's thin enough so that wearing them a few sizes too big is a statement, not a faux-pas.
June 17, 2010 at 1:52 pm
Very cool.I love the background too .Beautiful photo !
June 17, 2010 at 1:57 pm
Where exactly is this? I used to live in Florence until a few years ago but I've never seen this fabulous piece of street art!I personally love the trousers! The whole outfit is gorgeous!
June 17, 2010 at 1:58 pm
Loving the sequins top and matching headband!

Love sequins, this shirt's amazing because it's flashy in a super discrete way. Super beautiful.
June 17, 2010 at 3:20 pm
she is perfect: great match of colours, she's simple but she's got a great image and silouette.the picture is beautiful as usual, really like the setting and the light, it points out her personality and sopuisticated style.

June 17, 2010 at 4:46 pm
I like her necklaces… they don't seem like they would go together, but they do. And I like her headscarf, that's how I've been keeping my hair out of my face lately too.
June 17, 2010 at 4:49 pm
Not… not diggin' it. Too high waisted. Just sort of Mom/Aunt looking all around.
June 17, 2010 at 4:50 pm

ahhh this is so nice to see! I love how you are posting these beautiful street-style shots on a consistent basis again. These photos are so fresh and so simply chic. I've missed this!! Your work is inspiration!
June 17, 2010 at 7:32 pm
does anyone know where the sandals are from?
June 17, 2010 at 7:51 pm
This girl exudes coolness, but I have to say that with a great figure like hers, those pants are a shame. Something more fitted would be far more flattering. Or a mini-skirt! Love the colors and textures though.
June 17, 2010 at 7:56 pm
Her Style is so simple and effortless! Effortless beauty is a gift.
Beautiful as usual.

Bella, Bella, BELLA!!!! She is one of the most beautiful young women you have ever featured. Everything about her is perfect! She has such an intense post-WWII Italian realist film look about her, Sart, and your pic captures this absolutely! I wonder, if you did this in B&W, if we all would be hard-pressed to identify the era.

Love her flats..so beautiful
June 17, 2010 at 9:49 pm
Love how the scarf encircles her head – so flattering. Also, her whole look is so effortless – not like she's trying too hard. She seems to know herself.
June 17, 2010 at 10:10 pm
This woman is not only beautiful, but pulls off a relaxed, classic, hip style, and with bling. Absolutely love it!
June 17, 2010 at 10:43 pm
She looks like a moviestar from the '50s with that headscarf and hairstyle.
June 17, 2010 at 11:00 pm
i love her pants and sandals.
June 17, 2010 at 11:19 pm
I'm glad to see that girls are wearing baggy pants again like they did in the 80s. On a thin girl they look sexy, and they have a lot of attitude.
June 17, 2010 at 11:40 pm
She's perfection, the pants are perfection, your pic is perfection!
June 18, 2010 at 12:38 am

June 18, 2010 at 1:58 am
Interesting background. Very feminine lines- the high waisted pants, and the top. I love the jewelry.
June 18, 2010 at 2:09 am
i love the pose and expression in her eyes; it makes her so much more outstanding
June 18, 2010 at 2:12 am
Bautiful. Both the style and the woman and the picture too. Nothing more to say.
June 18, 2010 at 2:19 am

June 18, 2010 at 10:29 am
The headband, the top, the highwaisted rolled up pants are very 80s. Nothing new, just revival of past fashion. But it looks really fresh vs. low cut pants.
June 18, 2010 at 10:38 am
she look defintely chic !

She keeps it simple and looks so chic!
June 18, 2010 at 3:23 pm
I get most excited about images of outfits like these, ones I can emulate or adopt. You do great things, but your work in recent years has been out of touch with my everyday – not to say they're not worthy of admiration, but I visit moreso for the inspiration. Thanks!
June 18, 2010 at 4:07 pm
The loose fits of the top & pants make this outfit look literally cool–perfect for summer. And the photo itself if excellent–she looks like she could be one of the dancers in the mural, and the figure on the right seems to be looking at her!
June 18, 2010 at 5:03 pm
she's absolutely beautiful! and can easily make such a simple outfit gorgeous
June 18, 2010 at 9:09 pm
The outfit looks very elegant and comfy, I like it. Plus I love sequins.

June 19, 2010 at 4:10 pm
My favorite part of her outfit is actually the pants, love the cut.
June 20, 2010 at 11:38 am
Love her look, her masculine/feminine sultriness and the gorgeous–but not-too-much exposure of caramel skin. Love that the pants are a bit baggy–skin-tight is the opposite of sexy!!!!!!
June 20, 2010 at 2:16 pm

June 22, 2010 at 6:23 pm
I am just stunned at how gorgeous and perfect this is. Kind of reminds me of the 1980s/Bananarama look that I LOVED so much back then but don't have nearly the style to bring it back. Yet she is so modern. I could stare at this all day.
June 23, 2010 at 1:13 pm

June 23, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Loving this look on her. So elegant and easy.

June 24, 2010 at 10:38 am

June 25, 2010 at 9:48 am
Casual yet special. Love the look and its simplicity.
June 26, 2010 at 2:07 pm
I don't understand why this is thought of as stylish… she's lovely, and the picture is great, of course, but the pants are absolutely hideous and make her look huge.
June 29, 2010 at 11:43 am
She makes the outfit look effortless: simple and put-together. Lovely, confident girl!
July 2, 2010 at 12:39 am

I’m pretty sure many have already mentioned this, but she is the epitome of “Italian”. She’s just so Italian that if you had put this picture without a caption, I would have known it was from Italy.
Her toned arms & lovely complexion are as beautiful as her jewelry (:
October 23, 2013 at 11:26 pm
This picture made me smile. Love her stance.
