Great smile, love the shoes in the first picture, not sure about the second outfit though.

Absolutely! Parka and lace dress, fabulous pj suit… I guess working for AdR is setting certain standards (or is it the other way round?). Anyway, great style!
The floral suit is unbelievably classy. I love it!
July 15, 2010 at 9:04 am
Oh my, a pyjama suit worn with heels! That has just opened my mind to a whole new world that I want to be a part of!
July 15, 2010 at 9:07 am

Oh wow! It's the same lady! How cool is that?! I can never pull off the second outfit but she sure can.I absolutely adore the jacket in the first picture.Fabulous woman all in all!
July 15, 2010 at 9:15 am
She can pull off the 2nd outfit altho it's not my style. I love that she's not wearing a bag.
July 15, 2010 at 9:19 am
Personally, I think the second outfit looks like a pair of very expensive pajamas. But i still like it, somehow ;)Love her jacket i the first picture.XOXORiri
July 15, 2010 at 9:23 am
That top look is seriously how women should be dressing now. Feminine with a rugged edge. I also love that she plays up her legs with the short hemline. Total inspiration to wear out this weekend!
July 15, 2010 at 9:29 am
aah Milano, you find the most beautiful women there..
July 15, 2010 at 9:32 am
I actually really love her outfit in the bottom picture. I agree with Riri, it looks like pjs…BUT she works the pjs like not many people could! Plus, have you ever seen pajamas that fit that well? I don't think so.
July 15, 2010 at 9:39 am
I love the first outfit.. so sweet!http://www.modemuffins.blogspot.com

Love the first outfit!
She's so beautiful!
Milana from http://fashionstyleadvice.com
Loves the 1st picture. Gives me ideas on transitioning from summer to fall. Second picture, BOLD move… Some can pull this off and she did!!!
July 15, 2010 at 9:54 am
for the second outfit: BRAVO! spectacular, risky, daring. Just for some.

Wonderful women with class.
July 15, 2010 at 10:02 am
I prefer the first outfit, but in the second one I love love love her shoes!!!
First set is fabulous!!
July 15, 2010 at 10:03 am
Viviana is great!I love her!
July 15, 2010 at 10:08 am
She kills it every time.
July 15, 2010 at 10:13 am
it's truly an art to watch women walk in 4.5 inch heels in the middle of a city with pot holes and obstacles. Cheers to the challenge winners. I'm still on route.
July 15, 2010 at 10:14 am
She pulls off that floral suit!
July 15, 2010 at 10:19 am
Confidence really is the best accessory – the pj suit = fearless!
Would love a close up of her rings they look very cool!
She always seems to have so much fun in her outfits which is a big factor in being able to pull them off. I love her.
July 15, 2010 at 10:23 am
I generally love your shots. Normally, I find the people, the style and the photos equally breath-taking. But I'm having a hard time appreciating this woman. Her shoes in both shots seem coarse. I really don't like the combination of the grey/silver bag with the green and white in the first outfit. And I'm really not feeling that pajama suit at all. Even as pajamas go, that outfit is pretty ugly.
Even so, it's really great to see the variety out there and these shots made me think carefully about why I was responding negatively to them. So thanks so much again. I look at your site every day and it's superb.
July 15, 2010 at 10:27 am
Oh my god… she's a virtuosa. Not many people could pull off the floral black suit, head to toe (on me, this would look like pajamas) … but man, this woman is WORKIN' it! Love the simplicity of her first outfit – white dress, khaki jacket, brown sandals … lovely. Thanks for posting these, Scott!
July 15, 2010 at 10:39 am
the second outfit is interesting… looks like a pj but if its different and u can pull it off, ill buy it :)
July 15, 2010 at 10:47 am
Wow love it!!
July 15, 2010 at 10:53 am
Is it just me or do her shoes in the first shot look too small for her feet? (note the toe claws)
July 15, 2010 at 10:58 am
On anyone else, I would declare the pantsuit outdated. However, she carries it brilliantly!Papillon Vintage
July 15, 2010 at 11:11 am
Oh my goodness I love it!!!
July 15, 2010 at 11:12 am
Love love love the first look! The second one just reminds me too much of pajamas-maybe just wear one piece at a time.
day-time pjs for daydreamers?
July 15, 2010 at 11:15 am
I Absolutely love that white dress, and the green parka! Beautiful!
Best of Beehive
Brave use of the army jacket in the first picture. I think it works, but I would like to see that stunning dress by itself.
July 15, 2010 at 11:17 am
great post…love it…she is fabulous…amazing woman
she's so great, she can pull that pj suit off. nice one! :]

July 15, 2010 at 11:47 am
Wonderful!!I like the second picture very much! She is splendid with her flower outfit, very distinctive and very cool. Her second outfit gives her a great personality!! Do somebody knows the designer of the flower outfit?
July 15, 2010 at 11:49 am
SHE makes everything look GREAT. Absolutely LOVE the first dress!
beautiful woman. the first outfit is really chic, I love those colours together…the second one: wow! just someone like her could wear it so well. Besides the print on the suit is very classy, I like yellow+purple so much.
July 15, 2010 at 12:00 pm

I love Viviana!!
I wish I was part of the dream team trio!!
July 15, 2010 at 12:27 pm
Noooooooooooooooo…she is gorgeous but not the curtains!
SorryThis time I disagree with your readers: I think she is lovely, has great hair, and teeth, and a great smile, but; She does not have young enough knees for the dress she is wearing in the first photo.
July 15, 2010 at 12:30 pm
I think I love this woman…
July 15, 2010 at 12:42 pm
Looove the outfit in the first photo!
July 15, 2010 at 12:43 pm
That second outfit could just "Walk on By" but I do luv the shoes!
July 15, 2010 at 12:58 pm
love the first outfit! white lace dress + military coat = cool look
July 15, 2010 at 1:03 pm
I really enjoy the second one because it's most risky. But she have a great sens of style mainly with her selection of accessories : wonderfull shoes, glasses and watch : all of this makes an incredible "Allure".
I love both outfits! It's truly exciting to see a woman who is brave to try combinations from which other women would otherwise shy away. The juxtaposition of the delicate white lace dress with the rough-n-ready army green fatigue jacket & the sexy strappy heels…Fantastic! The matching "pajama" outfit is superb, perfect for hot, muggy summers in Milan. The patterns on the pj might be too much at first, but it works beautifully because the background color in grounded in black…the remaining colors, which are few, are muted and not blaring and ostentatious. And the pattern design is great! The shoes and glasses, and the wonderful confidence & attitude complete the whole beautiful picture!
J'adore!! la tuta floreale stampata è stupenda!!!!

Interesting combination.It works.
July 15, 2010 at 1:10 pm
Great inspiration to keep searching for the perfect military jacket to throw on at times like this!
July 15, 2010 at 1:12 pm
Original! Beautiful flowers :)

Viviana Volpicella is my biggest fashion inspiration…teamed up with ADR and I die.

the trouser suit look is very 'scarface' http://www.thearchblog.com
July 15, 2010 at 1:49 pm
Well, if it looks like a pj it's becasue it was intended to look like a pj – that is from Prada and Mrs. Miuccia has a penchant for arty pj's…

July 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm
I think her legs are better served with pants.
July 15, 2010 at 3:56 pm
Dang, that second look is good!! It's truly striking, and she looks like she's owning it. (I'd love to try that pj-inspired jacket with a pair of raggedy jeans.)
July 15, 2010 at 3:57 pm
I love the first look, but I'm not sure about the PJ's outfit in the second picture, I can see that has a lot of people divided
July 15, 2010 at 4:09 pm
Fantastic! I especially love the white lace dress.
July 15, 2010 at 4:13 pm
Love the top photo, though I'd like it much better with flat sandals. IMHO, the jacket's a little too casual for such high heels.
July 15, 2010 at 4:22 pm
Great first look! Love this khaki jacket!
July 15, 2010 at 4:33 pm
Lace dress, army jacket. Perfection.

She's a lovely woman but there's a not of fashion victimism going on here. There seem to be too many trends especially in the first photo. Maybe if she left off the coat or the metallic bag or the chunky sandals she'd escape the charge of trying too hard.
July 15, 2010 at 6:38 pm
I didn't see the second outfit as PJ's but as an oriental silk suit. I loved it, she has such long lean legs that it works. I like the red toenail and fingernail polish with it. I like white lacey dresses for summer, they work. She makes it slightly tough by wearing the khaki jacket over top. It is exactly the right length.
July 15, 2010 at 6:46 pm
I think she has very nice legs…
July 15, 2010 at 7:01 pm
She is beautiful, and more so your pictures. These photos made me forgot my work piled up in front of me for a moment.Grazie mille.

Love the shoes in both… and she is quite beautiful… the that second outfit is kind of scary.
July 15, 2010 at 8:58 pm
i see pj's for the second outfit…really awesome. all that silk and oriental print. i love the first pic. so simple and chic….!
July 16, 2010 at 12:52 am
I adore the top outfit, it's a great mix – fragile lace dress with the toughness of the army parka.
Make me wish I had tanned legs, it's a look I would be working.
However the bottom oputfit reminds me of 70's wallpaper.
August 27, 2012 at 1:38 pm
Love the color colors. I alawys look at beautiful fabric and want to cry, lol, because I can’t sew to save my life! All can do is look………LOL. You are such a fabulous designer, so unique!
July 16, 2010 at 2:15 am
Fabulous suit.. reminds me of the Chinese pyjama suits I used to wear (with lacy socks and sandals!!) when I was little, but she looks just *slightly* more stylish!
July 16, 2010 at 2:53 am
Love the first woman her dress! White dresses are the summer edition of the LBD
July 16, 2010 at 3:14 am
love the first look! she's so cute!
July 16, 2010 at 3:40 am
i love her 1st look urban yet super chic and then her 2nd look is soooo Gucci in the 70's … she clearly knows about being a chic italian lady!
July 16, 2010 at 4:52 am
Dolce e Gabbana made a pj inspired collection last year if i I am not mistaken. When I saw it I thought that it was absolutely unique but quite unstylish to be worn. I thought that whoever bought one piece of it would keep it in the wordrobe as a collector's object. And now…seeing it worn by Vivianna…I am amazed by it. It's classy. It's comfortable and definately romantic. She makes it so real! I am convinced that not all designer clothes are for everyone and that some persons-like Vivianna!- have the inborn elegance to wear everything and make it look amazing!Excellent!PS The first take is great! Mix and perfectly match look!
July 16, 2010 at 5:41 am
who would have thought that head-to-toe wallpaper could make someone look so tall and elegant? I love the rolled sleeves; a nice touch.
July 16, 2010 at 6:23 am
wow, I guess she changed her shoes (in the first pic)! Lovely Garance showed her in the exactly same outfit, wearing the same bag (a transparent Prada) but sporting Prada chandeliers. http://www.garancedore.fr/en/2010/06/21/hier-a-milan-chez-moncler/
Personally, I prefer these brown leather heels to those, which are not flattering at all (no matter how beautiful your legs are, IMHO)
July 16, 2010 at 6:26 am
I want that suit in the second outfit the pattern on the black with her hair is so fresh! and nw an italian girl to ear all black in summer!!
July 16, 2010 at 6:31 am
love the first outfit!
July 16, 2010 at 7:09 am
Wow nice share post i like this fashion dress thanks for share it with us.keep it up.nice blog.
Only in the First pic she has got a Prada plastic bag: more than 700 eur…I am sure she wouldn't look so "chic" spending less…
Scott, show her in normal clothes!

White dress with military green parka…i like it on this picture but i'm not sure for anybody else.
July 16, 2010 at 8:07 am
Both are absolutely gorgeous! I adore the flowered pantsuit, and I think it takes a bold personality to pull it off.
July 16, 2010 at 8:10 am
the lace dress, army jacket, lovely flower print, beautiful smile. love it all.
July 16, 2010 at 8:44 am
Wonderful outfits. So elegant. J'Adore.
July 16, 2010 at 2:19 pm
Ah LOVE the second outfit (both actually). Is that an actual suit, or are those silk pajamas?
July 16, 2010 at 4:18 pm
The floral set is just wonderful! I really like her hair too, always so smooth and natural. Her sunglasses are awesome too. Not too bold but just enough to catch your eye.

July 16, 2010 at 5:36 pm
The first outfit is fabulous, Gap gone Couture! I don't like the second outfit, its adventurous but borderlines on tacky. Too bad, she is a lovely woman with an obviously great sense of style. I think we all have days when we take it a step too far.
July 17, 2010 at 8:19 am
love the first outfit… especially the shoes.the second outfit looks like a pyjama
July 17, 2010 at 8:27 am
i love her first outfit
July 17, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Yay! I want to see more women "of a certain age" featured here, (although she's probably just shy of fitting that category.) With all of the figure challenges incumbent with female aging, it gets harder and harder to zero in on fresh looks that express our individuality without looking silly. This woman is long and lean enough to wear pretty much anything. I love the first look–her hair is lovely and free and she has fabulous posture, but I'm going to take off points for the ill-fitting shoes. (Never good to have your toes hanging off the front of your shoes.) What's wonderful to me about the second look is that she's completely owning it–she wears it with authority and without apology. Only a woman who's in charge of her destiny could wear this so well. Brava.
July 18, 2010 at 3:21 pm
Oh, wow.I LOVE that flower-print suit.It takes a woman who is unafraid to show her style to wear that… and who is, let's face it, pretty slim. Not too sure just anybody could pull that off.
July 18, 2010 at 3:56 pm
NO to #2 outfit
July 18, 2010 at 10:31 pm
I don't know if I love either outfit but her smile is radiant. In that regard, she could have on a lawn and leaf garbage bag with shoulderpads and a belt and still rock the world!
July 19, 2010 at 5:19 am
In the first picture I really like the combination of the girly dress to the military jacket. And the shoes are pretty nice ;)
July 19, 2010 at 8:05 am
could somebody please tell me where i csn find the pair she is wearing in the first photo?she's great like always!
July 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm
I really like the first outfit, but the second I am not so sure of. The whole suit look works, but the pattern seems to be a bit too much.
July 20, 2010 at 3:50 pm
Amazing! Love the pants more than anything, so chic.
July 21, 2010 at 9:01 am

July 22, 2010 at 5:34 am
Those 'pajamas' are from last s/s Prada. She is working it as well as it could be worked. Fit is perfection.

The second's probably an acquired taste for most.
October 15, 2010 at 7:08 pm
she must be in her pyjamas
January 10, 2012 at 12:17 pm
I love that she is wearing a short dress!!!!! her legs are perfect. I am so tired of this weird idea that someone has to be in grade school to show off their legs. Wit does not matter in the least if her knees do not look like they belong to a six year old, they still look perfect.
