Its the gold watch!!! damn what a stunner! give him a cigar and a hat and you have yourself the 'elite mafia'!
kisses from India!
P.S. Lucky you… with garance around 24×7! have fun you stylish kids :)
I love a man who is not afraid of jewelry.
August 23, 2010 at 9:54 am
Very nice. A bit shiny there but nice.

August 23, 2010 at 9:58 am
I love his watch!!! And his earring. I usually don't like guys with earrings but his is cool :)
August 23, 2010 at 9:59 am
Take the rings out and he'd be perfect!
August 23, 2010 at 10:01 am
Perfection. Wow, what a nicely put together gentleman. His suit, tie, shirt, and jewelry are both lovely and understated. Nice to see someone as young as he, already so well put together. Just think what he'll look like twenty five years from now! Gosh, do you think he has trouble getting a date?
August 23, 2010 at 10:02 am
Really nice, but I didnt like the gold rings and watch. I prefer silver ones. I love his shirt and the suit. It is nice the red detail on the suit.
i love the lapels of that coat.i am an hermes man myself, but that is a beautiful suit
August 23, 2010 at 10:05 am
wow he looks young for this style, but he pulls it off! bello!
love his stare :)
He looks amazing!I bet he's gay :DDD No straight man looks that good :DDD
August 23, 2010 at 10:06 am
Wow, nice tie!
August 23, 2010 at 10:07 am
What I like most about this look is the red button holes at the lapel and cuff. They're eye-catching and they give the suit a bit of a kick. It's the details that get me, not the bling.
The Wild Fairy
August 23, 2010 at 10:09 am
Wow! Sharp! And smooth…
Love the gold watch, for sure. But the red detail on the lapel and cuff button holes is what makes the look for me.
The Sluice Box
August 23, 2010 at 10:10 am
That's an exceptionally beautiful shirt. Not sure he needed all that gold jewelry at the same time.
August 23, 2010 at 10:13 am
Oo la. Love the giant wristwatch. Too few people wear them, and they're such an intelligent statement.
August 23, 2010 at 10:14 am
This young gentleman wears more bling than I do. XD Nontheless, looking dapper!
its a classical
August 23, 2010 at 10:24 am
Men can definitely wear their share of jewellry when it is this well matched. Lovely!
The tiny touch of bright red is delightful.
August 23, 2010 at 10:43 am
Waou this guy have a lot of style! his style inspered me a lot!!
interesting – did he re-fold his lapel over the third buttonhole? Love the contrast stitching on top and on the cuffs. Rings need to go, though. Just too much.
August 23, 2010 at 10:44 am
August 23, 2010 at 10:45 am
altough his face doesn't really look italian, the way he wears the suit definetely is. i usually find gols watches too much, but the effect in his look is gorgeous.
August 23, 2010 at 10:49 am
Wow!All buffed and polished and sparkling!
August 23, 2010 at 10:51 am
The gold watch complements the understated wardrobe but the rings are overkill, and identical at that which is ridiculous. Lose the rings and it's close to perfection. Love those red seams on the buttonholes of the jacket!
August 23, 2010 at 10:55 am
Love the earrings.
August 23, 2010 at 11:00 am
He is dreamy! And I do love the watch!http://shop.missrubyboutique.com
August 23, 2010 at 11:01 am
the fancy watch and rings are ruining it for me…he is very handsome though!!!and the suit suits him prefect :P !!
August 23, 2010 at 11:02 am
I don't see many people wear their watch on their right wrist..he does, just like I do. He's cool.
August 23, 2010 at 11:04 am
contrast thread button holes, fantastique!

August 23, 2010 at 11:12 am
Gold watches often looks very cheesy, but he pulls it of beautifully. It goes really well with the blue suit.
I'd definitely skip the rings though, and the tie knot is way to tiny!
August 23, 2010 at 11:20 am
Key thing are the red sewings, but gold watch + rings + earrings, not sure of it. The tie is fine, looks like a Bulgari.
THE NYANZI REPORT
August 23, 2010 at 11:21 am
Unmistakably Italian.Super duper dapper.
August 23, 2010 at 11:22 am
now THAT is a high gorge.
August 23, 2010 at 11:24 am
The high notch lapel is very sharp, and the pop of red really commands attention. Unfortunately the gold kills the look off. Hands = Bob The Bruiser from Romford, Everything else = Italian gentleman.
The red stitching on the lapel buttonhole is what makes this pop.
Otherwise, I think he could do without the rings.
August 23, 2010 at 11:26 am
This is a cool look!

August 23, 2010 at 11:51 am
wow. first off, what a stunning man. such confidence… starring right at you.
second, that suit! the color and the the cut!
and last, the 'BLING'…! uggh, this picture goes straight into my archives of favorite shots!
thanks for sharing.
August 23, 2010 at 11:52 am
i love the tiny red button stitches here and there.

August 23, 2010 at 11:54 am
My goodness!Everybody is mentioning the watch, the rings. What about the fit of THAT suit…
August 23, 2010 at 11:56 am
The jacket fits beautifully across his chest. The shirt collar is smart and I like the small tie-knot. No fan of the bling.
August 23, 2010 at 11:58 am
Very nice! I especially like the tie and watch.
August 23, 2010 at 11:59 am
he is handsome and impeccably dressed, with attention to all the details…. and yet, there's something off about the outfit. it makes him look narrow shouldered and broad hipped. i think it's the wide, high notched lapel on the jacket.
August 23, 2010 at 12:02 pm
Oooooh sexy man!
August 23, 2010 at 12:04 pm
absoltuely love everything but the watch (too gold and showy)
August 23, 2010 at 12:09 pm
Ok. There is a guy who would most probably make my head turn. But one look at his hands and I would surely turn, I mean RUN, away! If it was just for the watch, he could get away with it. But, the rings?
August 23, 2010 at 12:10 pm
Cute but the jewerly it's a little too much.
August 23, 2010 at 12:11 pm
The gold watch stands out so much as do the rings.
August 23, 2010 at 12:13 pm
The Sart. Blue Period continues. As noted by a fellow commenter, Blue suits, even very dark blue suits or pin-striped are hard to find in the US for some odd reason. I think the lapel was mis-pressed? I've never seen a button hole on the front of a lapel! Great fit- all else is flawless as well
August 23, 2010 at 12:21 pm
August 23, 2010 at 12:23 pm
He exudes coolness.
August 23, 2010 at 12:26 pm
he´s really gorgeous! :]
August 23, 2010 at 12:38 pm
great, seductive shot of an incredibly handsome guy. love the suit's red details, but the notches on the lapels seem unusually high to me. and i'll definitely pass on the gold watch. bling is fine, but here i'd opt for "less is more."
that tie is pretty snazzy!
August 23, 2010 at 12:49 pm
I definitly don`t like it. Too much gold and a mobilephone in his hands. Looks more like a russian boy than an italian gentelman.
August 23, 2010 at 12:50 pm
Fui…. looks like Christmas tree
Wow that watch really pops!
August 23, 2010 at 12:53 pm
I think that's a cool look but better without this gold rings, definitely that's not the best jewellery option for this suit, Thanks.
August 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm
The tie/shirt/suit combination is tremendous, but anyone notice his tie is a bit too long? Apart from that, I think he's on point
August 23, 2010 at 1:05 pm
August 23, 2010 at 1:09 pm
I love this suit, the high notches on the lapels, the cool red stitching on the buttonholes. I think maybe it's supposed to have the pressing of the lapels so that the buttonhole shows. I don't like the rings either, too much, but the earring and the watch are perfection.
August 23, 2010 at 1:38 pm
Yes to all but i like silver more than gold, I think it matches most skin tones a little better. I like the red details on the suit a lot too. And Scott, when are you going to start shooting the shoes of these men? I really want to know what shoes they're wearing!
I agree, the suit does make him look narrow shouldered. And the rings are too much for my taste. Love the colors, though!
August 23, 2010 at 1:52 pm
ohh so chic, love it! and the golden watch is wonderful!
August 23, 2010 at 1:53 pm
Do all Italian guys hand-carry their cell phones? Must be because they would cause a pocket to droop otherwise.
This guy's impeccably dressed. Not a rumple in sight.
August 23, 2010 at 1:56 pm
I recognize this gentleman! He was featured in your blog before wearing a tan poplin suit and a rich, dark purple tie holding a cigarette.
It's fun to see the duality in comparing the two photographs. In the previous one, he's discreete; here, he's quite bold with his jewelry yet somehow subtley so.
August 23, 2010 at 2:10 pm
August 23, 2010 at 2:23 pm
metro, yet still sexy!
August 23, 2010 at 2:26 pm
Can't really beat a man in a suit can you? I'm actually loving the bling! Like how the shirt is buttoned to the top; nothing cooler than a shirt buttoned all the way up.
August 23, 2010 at 2:30 pm
the red on his lapel and the gold watch and rings take this look from average to classy. this man has impeccable taste!
August 23, 2010 at 2:47 pm

August 23, 2010 at 3:25 pm
I am cracking up at the gal who said he must be gay because straight guys never look that good! BUT darling, he is in Italy. And they do. ;)
August 23, 2010 at 3:29 pm
my heart seriously just fluttered a bit…
August 23, 2010 at 3:36 pm
For me this is all about what's going on above the waist. The proportion of the lapels, shirt collar and knot: all are very flattering. He's like a John Currin painting.
The stitching details are great, too.
August 23, 2010 at 3:46 pm
is having the lapel notch up on the shoulder seam common now? It lays perfectly so I'm guessing it is intentional.
August 23, 2010 at 3:52 pm
A bit blingy–but an immaculate fit! More of these, please!
August 23, 2010 at 3:56 pm
…a gold Daytona…for goodnessake!..
The good thing about of this pic are the little red holes (cuff+ lapel!)

August 23, 2010 at 4:27 pm
Brilliant! Stylish, tailored look: absoutely gorgeous! Love that tie :D
August 23, 2010 at 4:28 pm
the gold watch shouldn´t be covering the shirtcuff! it should be halfway under it! good looking guy, nice neck but narrow shoulders, the suit is incredible, red detail on lapel and lapel itself, so chiq.
August 23, 2010 at 4:44 pm
i have seen several suits with red button holes on wrist and red stitching around button holes on the lapel… Ive come to the occlusion its a designers "logo" i have yet to figure out who these suits are made by..
i want them!
im bout to ask someone next time i see someone in it.

August 23, 2010 at 6:18 pm
Damn he's fine! Love the bling—it sets him apart. Without it, he'd just look like everbody else (although with an amazingly well-tailored suit.) The bling brings it to the next level & shows his individuality and confidence. I need to move to Italy!

So much American male bling shouts from across the street; this bling leans in close and whispers… I can smell the espresso he just drank. This is bling I could learn to love.

August 23, 2010 at 9:49 pm
Many people mentioned the high lapel/notch. This is the sign of a handmade jacket.
August 23, 2010 at 10:30 pm
Wow after reading the comments I can't believe there isn't anyone that finds this look tacky- between all the gold and red stitched button holes….
August 23, 2010 at 10:50 pm
Wow!! what a tie! Such a great combination. However, I'm not sure why EVERY single comment here just focuses on the pedestrian, arcane details about the gentleman's entire look! He owns this outfit, look at this posture! That perfect symmetry effect on each side
PEOPLE its about the wholesomeness, gestalt, seemingly effortless look of the attire. If we're to dissect everything one by one and comment on why or why not it works, we miss the picture itself! Please, lets be open here! Its like looking at a painting and focusing on the frame, or the contour!SART say something!
August 23, 2010 at 11:01 pm

Proportion is a bit out of balance.

August 23, 2010 at 11:37 pm
Love how well his suit fits. Italian tailoring rules. This gent knows how to work a look. Generally not a fan of bling on men, but he pulls it off by being so impeccable regarding details. Love a well-groomed man…you can keep your "casual Fridays."
August 24, 2010 at 1:06 am
Gorgeous!, but too much bling.
August 24, 2010 at 1:18 am
For me it's the look in his face, and his position that really make the outfit work.
August 24, 2010 at 1:48 am
the colours have been coordinated so well, and this is really captured in his well fitted suit. The bling's a bit ostentatious though.
August 24, 2010 at 1:52 am

August 24, 2010 at 3:51 am
Nooooooooo! He is not nice or cool or trendy. Yes he is slim and his suit is "correct" (I would remove a couple of details) but come onnnn its the takkiest pic ive seen posted to this blog! So I wonder, do we not have a criteria anymore? Anything scott schuman posts to his blog is inmediatly okay?
August 24, 2010 at 4:11 am
take the watch and the rings out! then he'd be totally perfect!
August 24, 2010 at 4:16 am
Not cool at all. Too much jewellery and he looks like he spent way too much time in front of the mirror.

Handsome and very well-dressed but I definitely am not into this bling-thing. Love the earring though!
I had an Italian boyfriend once who wore jewelry as confidently as this guy….It really makes such a difference not just to an outfit, but to the persona too.

The amount of jewelry isn't excessive (I don't think anyone will disagree with a ring on each finger and a watch.), but the size of them comes off a little tacky to me.
August 24, 2010 at 7:04 am
When a face from an italian citizen "doesn't look italian" to you, take a step back, breath heavily and tell yourself that maybe you don't know Italy that much yet.
August 24, 2010 at 7:34 am
Very subtle are the teeny splashes of red… which toy nicely with the bold watch and seem to balance the outfit. Fabulously folded handkerchief, how long did it take him to dress?
August 24, 2010 at 7:38 am

August 24, 2010 at 9:46 am
why does everybody talk about his golden watch. i guess its too much of shiny stuff here. and those signets.. bleee. Im not really into that kind of accesories. besides that, he looks sharp and good.

Most stylish!!! He lokks better then any model.
Stunning men's tailoring, very lovely detailed with the red embroidered buttonhole. The whole outlook refined with high-end men's accessories. High-end watch and men's rings at the right place and VERTU-Handy (I imagine). Just perfect, this Dandy of the 21th Century!!

Some people can wear just anything and looks perfect. That golden watch on him looks so delicious.
August 24, 2010 at 10:00 am
The suit and the rings are fine, but I am not sure about the watch…
August 24, 2010 at 10:13 am
it's as much his sharp digs as it is his confidence! what an amazing gaze. its those italian men!
August 24, 2010 at 10:41 am
Couldn't really let this one pass. Have to agree with Ozwald…you know if your jewellery is over the top if it can be referred to as 'bling'. Strangely this guy is wearing this rather unmissable watch on his right arm (left handed perhaps?)
The suit is nicely cut and no doubts about it he is a trim good looking chap! Few pointers – tie knot should be bigger to fill the collar spread. Pocket square is a nice touch if a little close in tone to the shirt (avoid actually matching). The contrast stiching on the button holes (especially on cuff which appear to work) highlight this is a well made suit. Red is a strong colour to choose though for my taste…
August 24, 2010 at 10:51 am
his expression is priceless! http://www.indigopeacock.com
August 24, 2010 at 11:25 am
No, there's too much going on there. He needs to cover the watch and remove one ring, at least.
August 24, 2010 at 12:14 pm
great look. but i think he's too young for the gold watch.
August 24, 2010 at 12:15 pm
Methinks he stood out because of the blings.
August 24, 2010 at 12:53 pm
just take off the rings! please!
His eyes drag you in, then the jewelery. I love the pocket. He looks like a gentlemen version of Eminem!
Wow, he looks so sharp!…very dapper!
August 24, 2010 at 12:55 pm
crossed the line! bit to much. love the watch tough.
August 24, 2010 at 12:58 pm
Gold watch ? bad taste. What is it with dudes wearing nice suits, and a steam cooker for a watch?
August 24, 2010 at 1:27 pm
I regret to say that the large, gold watch and both gold rings are simply too much. This handsome stylish young man sets the entire look back with so much gold. It detracts and overwhelms therefore taking away from rather that adding to what is already a marvelous look!
August 24, 2010 at 1:51 pm
August 24, 2010 at 3:09 pm
I think its too much with that rings and watch!!!Not a good combination of accessories. The one and only thing I liked is the red button hole detail of his suit…
August 24, 2010 at 4:12 pm
waay too much bling. But i like the little red details on the suit.
August 24, 2010 at 4:34 pm

Yum. That man is the perfect accessory.
August 24, 2010 at 8:41 pm
Very cool! I like the jacket detailing. http://domaineschematique.blogspot.com/
August 24, 2010 at 9:46 pm
Bleh. I don't like this as much as everyone else. Look at where the notches on the lapels sit! Too high. Wimpy know considering the cut and collar.
August 24, 2010 at 10:38 pm
Nice suit. Sharp shoulders, good color combo and the watch is a good accent. I wish the tie knot was bigger. The big collar with small tie knot seems out of proportion. Either a fat knot or a thinner collar with skinny wool tie would've worked better in my opinion.
Other than that, he looks sharp.
August 25, 2010 at 3:01 am
This blog makes me want to go to Italy just to sleep with men who look & dress like this. DAMN.
August 25, 2010 at 3:22 am
For some reason I would not expect this fellow to wear bling. His fine (yet still powerful) features don't quite suit it to me. But I do love the earring on him. However–he is beautiful looking and his stance is sexy. About the bling though–I think silver would have suited this blue suit tone more than this colour gold–or maybe a deeper toned gold? I normally don't like too much bling on men either, but I do think it can look great….and if he really had to…with silver bling this would have looked perfect in my eyes.
August 25, 2010 at 3:42 am

the gold watch is ruining the coherence, a simple old fashion but expensive looking watch would be much better. also rings on both hands, just too much, one would be fine..

Italians are the best

I don't like the watch, I don't like the rings, but I like his shoulders.

Now that's a guy who knows how to accessorize.
August 25, 2010 at 10:39 am
the too tight suit and too bold jewels turn this man's look from smart to pure SEX
August 25, 2010 at 12:45 pm
Awesome man, cool and charismatic glance!
August 25, 2010 at 12:53 pm
wow!!!! he is gorgeous!
August 25, 2010 at 2:25 pm
I like the shirt collars, shirt cuffs, wide lapels on the jacket, and the detailing on the jacket (plus the handkerchief!).
But:(1) there is too much bling (the watch is far too "shouty").(2) the unbuttoned jacket cuff shouts "look at me! I have an expensive bespoke jacket!"(3) a tie should show a full knot, particularly with wide collars. Otherwise it looks like it might belong to a schoolboy.
A couple of other picky points:(1) his tie is too long(2) his trousers are pressed carelessly, creating two creases on his right trouser leg. This kind of detail is important and would really finish the sharp look.
Even still, the overall look is quite stylish and just needs a couple of tweaks to look truly stunning.
Great blog by the way.
So high fashionista

I'd like to have seen his shoes.
August 25, 2010 at 4:46 pm
Rather busy outfit, but still full of class – wow!
August 25, 2010 at 10:28 pm
Sharp! Impeccably groomed. I'm drawn to the watch as well. NICE!
August 26, 2010 at 3:05 am
I don't think he looks gay. I'd say he's just whatever he's asked for so he can afford all that corny gold.
technical perfection at dressing don't necessarily mean good taste, does it? But then again judging abuout taste is sooo bad taste.
August 26, 2010 at 5:47 am
Did he deliberately have the right sleeves-of shirt and suit-jacket made shorter to show off the watch?
August 26, 2010 at 11:06 am
the gold bling are so gangster! but his eyes are clear and shining like diamonds!

um he is a stud… love the suit!
August 26, 2010 at 9:52 pm
Oh my, defnitely I would marry him
August 26, 2010 at 10:01 pm
Nice. I know of some suits with red button holes on the cuffs, but I can't remember if they had them on the lapels too. Those suits were British, though, and I'd be surprised if this guy was wearing one of them.
August 27, 2010 at 3:27 am
more pics like this one pls!love the bling: bold but not vulgar
August 27, 2010 at 6:22 am
Too much gold for my liking!
August 27, 2010 at 6:26 am
Very well cut suit, handsome guy, kitch gold watch (wanna gold? Buy a white gold one you know you have it and the others will see steel). Stupid Vertu mobile phone, once again for those who just want to show off. Useless to comment the rings, just too much. Sometimes less is really more.
August 27, 2010 at 12:01 pm
-GASP!-And I love his jacket. Talk about Italians and good fit.
August 29, 2010 at 4:16 pm

My God, he's so damn hot. I want him right away.
September 1, 2010 at 9:46 pm
This look is so simple and put together but the addition of the red buttons, the watch, and the cellphone all bring a different view.
September 4, 2010 at 9:24 pm
Such confidence! I wish more men around the world took their fashion cues from the Italians

For those saying that too much gold looks tacky or cheesy; please remember that this is usually based on fashion advise. Problem is that most fashion advise that is given out is usually that which suits western/Caucasian/fair skinned people. Hence the preference for white metals like silver, platinum and steel as these tend to look better on them compared to gold.
Gold is a warm metal and looks great on people with warm/dark skin; so gold looks incredible on people with black, brown, dusky, olive, ruddy and maybe even tanned skin but, many time ends up looking horrible on someone with really pale or excessively fair skin.
While white metals are more suitable on different skin types because they are color neutral; hence the fashion advise is to stick to them as it is difficult to go wrong with them. The problem however is that they also tend to be appear "cold" as well as have a high contrast on darker skin tones such as black, brown, high tanned and Mediterranean types.
So the gold jewelery is perfect for his skin type; white metals would have made it look a bit cold. The gold gives warmth both to his personality and also adds color to his outfit given that with the exception of the subtle touch of red his dress is entirely in one single color range – blue. Even the tie with a bit of blue, black and white plays to the color blue.
Gold is a conspicuous sign of wealth and such display of wealth was usually frowned upon; this is probably at the root of the complaint that the watch and rings are too showy and a bit too much and draw too much attention; well I will have to say that in this day of cookie cutter suits and cookie cutter personalities it takes courage and confidence to stand out.
Personally I would prefer to stand out from the crowd and express my own individuality rather than go with the flow just so that I can get people's approval.
I think this guy does that exact same thing perfectly; he knows how to stand out and express his individuality and had the confidence and style to carry of that look.

so sleek! Very sexy italian man!
September 7, 2010 at 6:50 pm
Apart from the watch, as said above a simple old fashion watch would look a lot better.

I think his outfit is amazing in that there is such an balanced amount of details that makes my eyes scan the photo carefully.
From the red buttonhole on his jacket to the baby blue pocket square to his patterned tie and his gold accessories. Best of all, at the end of it, it brings the focus back to his face, which is just as intent.
September 9, 2010 at 5:28 pm
wow. love the red contrasting thread of the buttonholes. this man loves the details, though one ring would've been enough.
September 9, 2010 at 8:05 pm
one word – gorgeous
his watch is amazing .
September 14, 2010 at 2:01 pm
He got me at the red buttonholes. Mmmmm mm.
September 19, 2010 at 12:00 pm
wow…I'm in love with him!!
September 19, 2010 at 5:32 pm
I agree with one of the posters before: "the gold watch shouldn´t be covering the shirtcuff!"
He looks great. I like the amount of jewelry. But it looks like he pulled out the watch and put it on top of his shirtcuff, so you could clearly see it. And that makes it seem like he's maybe too into his jewelry. Maybe this was just a mistake.

Another three button roll two suit. I don't like three button three button suits, and I hate it that designers are bringing them back just to say that they are doing something different, but I do love the proportions of the suit given by the notches on the lapel being that high, and I do quite like his rings!

He's amazing, I love men who are not afraid to wear jewelry! I like his watchCongratulations for the blog.Kisses from Spain!
March 5, 2011 at 11:15 pm
Looks sharp however, I'd like to see a thicker knot to the tie and lose the rings.
I love big watches however, I prefer stainless steel/titanium or white gold.

ya han dicho todo ..pero el corte del terno y la altura del cuello de la camisa estan dignos de comentar…muy elegante… el detalle de los anillos esta de observar….no deberia ser solo 1??….igual los veo bien!

Wow. Kudos to that gentleman. Great fit. Love the button hole color accents. Lose the right-hand ring, though. Inspirational.
