Peace and love!
WOW! I love this…
September 14, 2010 at 9:18 am
Wow, amazing couple, although she gets more of my attention. Her dress, hair do and attitude are elf-like and out of an other galaxy. Stunning.
Wow. This picture is rife with emotion. The story! The shared glances mesmerizing; I want to know what the two of them are thinking about!
September 14, 2010 at 9:19 am
I'm not even sure what to make of the looks being exchanged by this couple. Somebody did something the other didn't like…?
They are such a contrast of soft vs. hard in their appearance/style.
The softness of her dress is gorgeous.
September 14, 2010 at 9:21 am
Her dress is beautiful. When looking at her hair and face, it's like she couldn't have worn anything else.
September 14, 2010 at 9:22 am
Wow, she is from a completely different era.
Rock'n Roll Ballerina
September 14, 2010 at 9:23 am
Makes you wonder what they are thinking..pretty intense look in her eyes. :) Cool photo!
September 14, 2010 at 9:26 am
This is so beautiful. The way they are staring at each other is intense.
September 14, 2010 at 9:35 am
Her dress is divine. Both body language are so perfectLOx
September 14, 2010 at 9:43 am
Nice dress ! ;)
September 14, 2010 at 9:45 am
It's all about the contrast between them, isn't it? The girl looks like nymph from fairy-tale and the boy is a variety of her beauty…
September 14, 2010 at 9:48 am
She looks amazing, well both are awesome!

Loving the odd knit-cap yarmulke effect on him. Like her vibe more than her clothes. hate the bag with the outfit.
September 14, 2010 at 10:16 am
Two negatives always equal a positive and that is true in this case too. Beauty is a wonder!
September 14, 2010 at 10:26 am
She looks perfect from shoes to dress to hair and he definitely is working that amazing green.
waow!!! they look so glamorous and so in love!!!so cool!!! great photo!
September 14, 2010 at 10:28 am
I love the secret look they're giving each other. It speaks of complete communication of something serious… as if they are making a comment on the environment they're walking in without saying a word.
XX.Mae Lu, thereafterish.

Ah, young love.
I'm recommending a new blog (it's not mine). It's called Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.
September 14, 2010 at 10:32 am
The best pictures always tell a story beyond what's in the picture, and this one does. Very interesting.
September 14, 2010 at 10:34 am
I love the long dress. Such a great bohemian feel to this photo. x
September 14, 2010 at 10:36 am

September 14, 2010 at 10:53 am
They look amazing the way they contrast each other in looks and yet you can tell that they have such a connection!
September 14, 2010 at 10:58 am
she looks like an angel…
Most of the time your photos alone are enough for me, but in this case I would love to know more about these two – what they do, what kind of styles they like, even how they met! A visual feast here.
September 14, 2010 at 11:02 am
The Girl looks just beautiful!
September 14, 2010 at 11:09 am
Yes, love her dress and his sneakers.
In the 80' I always used that shoes.
Had to go to Munich, because the original was impossible to buy in Spain, only fake.
September 14, 2010 at 11:18 am
Love her dress, so pretty and sweet!
September 14, 2010 at 11:23 am
great style… but the beanie is kind of strange:
September 14, 2010 at 11:27 am
she looks like a Manson Family member, he like a Carradine, stay away from the rope.
September 14, 2010 at 11:28 am
Wednesday Addams all grown up!!!
i love how they look at each other – so deep in the eyes! look like love!
September 14, 2010 at 11:29 am
What a striking pair! Truly a moment captured.
Love the way she looks at him !
September 14, 2010 at 11:32 am
how they look at each other! it's a great pic!
September 14, 2010 at 11:33 am
Love her dress…elegant and timeless classical. They must be having a great time!
(Streetstyle from Hong Kong)
September 14, 2010 at 11:53 am
His shirt is too small, his pants do not fit and his hat looks ridiculous. It's not about how great the photo looks……
September 14, 2010 at 12:06 pm
Beautifull!!Yes,one can see love. This picture tells a story of love, ghostly apparitions at desert streets, zombies, grandma's nightgown wore at day light, cadaveric pale skin, concentration camp weeding, woman's toes cleaning the streets.Love induced by Trioxin, similar to zombification proccess in the movie "returun of the living dead".Neverthless, LOVE!
September 14, 2010 at 12:21 pm
I love how her dress flows so wonderfully but all I can think is, IS SHE REALLY THAT THIN? At first I thought it was a trick of the camera.
September 14, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Wow! truthfully i know that look- he is seathing with jealousy and she is looking at him to see if it is under control!
incredible capture of a moment!!!
September 14, 2010 at 12:29 pm
Gosh, the simplicity of this girl's style is amazing. She reminds me Carole King and Janis Joplin with her no bull style.
September 14, 2010 at 12:34 pm
Saw her in Berkeley in the 60's–saw him at the tat parlor on Melrose yesterday…………..
September 14, 2010 at 12:46 pm
interesting contrast! difference unites them for sure.
September 14, 2010 at 12:51 pm
I'm with Angela… hate the bag with the rest of her look. (Which is otherwise soft and lovely.) He is nice to look at, but the pants are unflattering :(
September 14, 2010 at 12:53 pm
They are from another era;)http://www.thebeautylover.blogspot.com
September 14, 2010 at 1:03 pm
if looks could kill….
September 14, 2010 at 1:07 pm
Wow. Talk about an ethereal beauty. What a cool looking couple. They are almost too cool.
September 14, 2010 at 1:13 pm
angels or devils?
September 14, 2010 at 1:14 pm
What an intense moment. I couldn't tell what they were thinking, only that they were feeling something very powerful. She looks great, I love her long dress. I think it rules next summer.
September 14, 2010 at 1:24 pm
this guys loose top and tapered high pants are money.
digging her dress.
September 14, 2010 at 1:32 pm
a visual goody
September 14, 2010 at 1:35 pm
Love her look…great shot

The Style Realist
September 14, 2010 at 1:39 pm
that dress is such a great transition piece for summer to fall!
September 14, 2010 at 1:41 pm
I am hoping that 2 seconds after this photo was snapped, they burst out laughing…that whatever the seriousness was in their faces was just the prelude to the climax of a big joke.
September 14, 2010 at 1:47 pm
i like her dress
I usually love the fashion and the photography. This shot is photo only, they're looking a little cultish to me. Her dress and his hat. If it was just one and not the other, it probably wouldn't have made me think he forgot his black Nikes at home.
September 14, 2010 at 2:04 pm
This guy is handsome in his own way as this lady is aware that she has a certain undeniable effect on many people. These two are not a sharp contrast to each other, they complement quite nicely. His/her height is quite right!
September 14, 2010 at 2:09 pm
September 14, 2010 at 2:24 pm
60s retro – except for his hair and hat. If he had hair he wouldn't need that hat. It looks like he is wearing the wrong size of watch cap.
September 14, 2010 at 2:29 pm
wanting her hair and shoes..
September 14, 2010 at 2:48 pm
Very unique interesting couple, I adore her style!

so beautiful !!!!!
September 14, 2010 at 3:08 pm
i love her dress and her hair. so simple.
September 14, 2010 at 3:12 pm
lovely girl, very simple style. I can't see the guy's whole face, but what little I could, his expression comes across sinister.

this is surreal
September 14, 2010 at 3:30 pm
Preciosa foto!! Ella parece un angel salida de una canción psicodélica de los 70´
September 14, 2010 at 3:32 pm
Seems like a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
The photo itself is a success, but I find their style to be pretty horrendous.
September 14, 2010 at 4:23 pm
The contrast between them is so spot-on. The attraction of opposites is perfect!
September 14, 2010 at 4:49 pm
That color green is amazing, oh how I would love to have a cotton dress in that color.
September 14, 2010 at 5:01 pm
Their outfits are very different, but somehow go together. I think it's perhaps the flowy fabrics.
September 14, 2010 at 5:13 pm
Love the dress too…but he needs an iron XD
September 14, 2010 at 5:16 pm
Uhm…Scott. This might be your best pic of the month. And I'm not talking about the kind of clothes they're wearing but this whole setup: light, motion, the moment where they're looking at each other….nice one.
September 14, 2010 at 5:23 pm
September 14, 2010 at 5:27 pm
That dude is creepy. I don't see young love in that look at all. She is pretty, but he is glaring at her with clenched jaw and she does not look happy.
September 14, 2010 at 5:40 pm
nice couple! they look very picturesque… a bit surreal.quite opposite characters, the girl looks boho in her long romantic dress, long wavy hair and flat shoes; the boy on the contrary looks quite rough and street smart. but the look in girls eyes and the fact she's holding hands with him… gives her away ;)good shot!
September 14, 2010 at 6:01 pm
Overpaid cult members out and about…I love NY in the fall!!
September 14, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Woaw, very intense !
September 14, 2010 at 6:43 pm
Wonder where they could be going?
Anyways, her dress is fantastic. They say a picture paints a thousand words? This one garners millions.
September 14, 2010 at 7:57 pm
September 14, 2010 at 8:26 pm
intense staring contest.. love her dress and his shirt.
September 14, 2010 at 8:27 pm
great-looking couple! a great photo.
September 14, 2010 at 10:05 pm
they play with proportions and i love the result, but i change her purse and his hat…
September 14, 2010 at 10:40 pm
Good gracious, it's fascinating to read the myriad interpretations. I feel mildly terrified for the girl – the whole situation looks fraught. But it's a nice dress, and lovely hair – she knows her style. I hope he is nicer than he looks in that millisecond.
September 14, 2010 at 10:58 pm
This is awesome! Gosh, definitely one of the best couple photos you've done thus far, Scott. Their style is so politely casual, and facial expressions aside, they do compliment each other quite well. Very simple, and really just… nice.
September 14, 2010 at 11:00 pm
She's like a daytime goddess. I'm not sure what that means, but it feels right saying it.
September 15, 2010 at 12:37 am
September 15, 2010 at 1:04 am
they look like that have a lot of passion and intensity in their relationship
September 15, 2010 at 2:32 am
Ringo, have a banana!
Ah, I wish I knew who this girl was! She popped up all over the place last fashion week, in a sweater with a penguin on it and an amazing coat/pants, then I saw her on E Houston a couple months ago looking incredible in a long skirt and all that hair. So glad to see her again, she's fascinating :n )
September 15, 2010 at 3:15 am
so cute. love her dress.
September 15, 2010 at 5:47 am
Nice dress and sandals…
September 15, 2010 at 6:59 am
He found her asleep on his doormat one morning. Not knowing what to do with an angel on a regular Wednesday, and without much time to invite her in, he put his room mate's high-end purse in her hand to give her a more worldly appearance. On the way to the coffee shop where he worked, she kept glancing over. “Am I doing it right?”
September 15, 2010 at 7:37 am
Her hair is divine!!! and the dress is very gracious and old style.
She certainly has style!
September 15, 2010 at 8:33 am

September 15, 2010 at 8:48 am
I like their . . . shoes.
September 15, 2010 at 10:35 am

September 15, 2010 at 2:10 pm
Such a fabulous look, 70's maxi look – very next summer! And he looks very Tom Waits.. I have lifestyle envy and I know nothing of them!

love her dress!
September 15, 2010 at 4:24 pm
Is it strange that I want to be a part of this couple?
September 15, 2010 at 5:18 pm
what a look :)
September 15, 2010 at 5:41 pm
What a gorgeous couple – I love her dress, very simple, renaissance, classic, airy – I could go on!
September 16, 2010 at 7:30 am
He's not trying as hard as she is.
September 16, 2010 at 8:44 am
wow, great style! beautiful male look
September 16, 2010 at 9:59 am
This photo leaves you wanting to know more about them. Their looks, the expressions on their faces….what is their story!? Love what you captured.
September 16, 2010 at 10:48 am
Gosh–this photo is amazing in so many ways. How did you capture that moment in time Sart? Their exchange of looks is so evocative.
The richness and contrast/complement of colour is also fantastic–the grey pavement–the black car, the dark teal and creme of their clothing.
The movement in the dress, her hair and eyebrows, the long puff sleeves–his cap, shaved head and shoes–oooeee.

"Sexy" is so different for men and woman. These two are a perfect example.
September 16, 2010 at 3:35 pm
The two star crossed lovers look furtively into each others eyes, looking forward to their shooting up in the back alley behind the theater.
September 16, 2010 at 7:05 pm
they must be siblings cause based on fashion alone, a hippie and 1/2 rudeboy, errrrr.
September 16, 2010 at 10:36 pm
i think we have all officially fallen in love with the young lady..thank you
September 17, 2010 at 2:19 am
great shot! love the look into each other eyes. the beanie slipping off the guy's head & the girl's tresses.
September 17, 2010 at 2:43 am
how graceful she looks!!how delicate..whimsical!!!love it..reminds me of Cate Blanchett's character Galadriel, from lord of the rings..
September 17, 2010 at 5:29 am
The beauty and the beast!
September 17, 2010 at 5:30 am
How he manages to keep his hat on his head?
September 17, 2010 at 12:17 pm
I love the mid-step look in each other eyes.
September 17, 2010 at 5:18 pm
she reminds me that famous scene when Linda Blair starts to rotate her head in The Exorcist…
September 17, 2010 at 5:24 pm
i love it. the hippy-ish style is so cool. and i love the look they're giving each other, its like they're too cool for fashion
September 18, 2010 at 6:55 am
WOW, love this picture. She looks like an angel.
September 19, 2010 at 5:03 am
Is she really going out with him? (Sung by Joe Jackson) ;)
September 19, 2010 at 10:17 am
LOVELY! You are the master of situation photography.
September 19, 2010 at 11:06 am
best color green in the world: this guys shirt.
September 19, 2010 at 12:50 pm
I love her shoes – always happy to see a woman in flats. I get so sick of the godawful psychotic skyscraper bondage heels everyone is wearing these days. I don't understand how they walk around the city in them. These look feminine and pretty and make sense.
September 20, 2010 at 2:23 pm
The white dress is beautiful and the image is really striking. I really love this picture!
September 22, 2010 at 5:07 am
I think they individually would not draw so much attention, but together they are perfect.
September 22, 2010 at 10:27 am
love her dress and her hair
October 17, 2010 at 1:44 pm
Exactly the same couple than "Paris, Pont Alexandre III"? How come?
October 18, 2010 at 3:06 am
What a hottie!
November 10, 2010 at 10:58 am
they look exactly like a couple in Paris in later photos (he also wears same hat). Are they the sartorialist's friends or do they follow him? :)
January 28, 2011 at 1:41 pm

The girl has something otherworldly in her look. I’m in love with this one
