I really like the summer autumn transition, as those shorts could almost work well as trousers, though i'm not too keen on the bag- would be nice for some colour, and also the bag cunningly hides the join of her shorts to her legs! lovely hair though!
Her hair is the first striking visual about her, you then draw your eyes further down to the simple clothing, down to the clutch of the handbag strap which gives a sense of seriousness to her, and then to the perfect pair of earthy cream shoes. Her facial expression ties the story together, and she is a true woman!
people you captured in the photos have the style and seem never be lazy about their look. im trying to be one of them except the days when i feel very tired in the morning, when it's raining hard outside and when i just try to get through the day. oh many excuses.
So nice to see those shoes at the end of the outfit – was expecting something ultra-feminine after the overall unisex look. However, glad she didn't go there: her hair and face are beautiful enough as a foil. She looks comfortable and confident; white bucks with the dark are a good, unexpected choice.
Fantastic – mannish style on a very feminine woman. Oh, to have her hair. I agree with another comment that this feels like one of the more original looks you've caught in a while – I think it feels stylish rather than fashionable (or maybe that's just the Parisian background?!).
This look would have a different feel to it if it was in New York. The fact that she is in Paris makes it that much more refreshing. French women can't help but getting it right, don't you agree?
This girl was also featured on Stockholm Streetstyle yesterday! She must be feeling pretty special being asked to be photographed by strangers multiple times in a day.
If this isn't your quintessential Parisienne then I don;t know what is! Classic, understated, sickeningly chic and carrying a VERY luxurious handbag… One of those girls who is terrifying and intriguing in equal measure. I want to be her, just a little bit X
This is one of the rare moments when I think the model (who is beautiful) is wearing a very nice outfit AND shoes. Usually the shoes are bizzar, but these look great. Her purse, though, looks like it's held together by hair clips!
Great shot. She is very lovely and her outfit, casually stunning. I love the shoes, but I'm a bit thrown off by the bag. A little too soon I think, for an accessory of this type. Or perhaps its too business like for such a casual outfit? All in all, she is perfection. Terrific lighting.
As the young 'uns would say, OMG! I WANT THAT JACKET!!!! Love the belt too. Don't like the shoes per se (prefer that style in dark suede), but I dig the way she says FU to expectations and, instead of precious heels, wears down-to-earth, I-mean-business oxfords. And I like that her bag is simple and obviously old and well-used–so much more cool and stylish than the typical showy, overdone bags seen in fashion photos.
On that note, one side, and quite serious, question: Why do people get so fizzy about handbags? I just don't get it. They're annoying to carry (I avoid using one whenever possible) and most, to be honest, are sort of silly-looking–form overwhelms function, and most are so overdesigned and over-ornamented that they end up looking tacky. So how have they ended up being nigh unto fetishized by so many? An inquiring mind honestly wants to know.
Perhaps I'm one of those women who have odd heat-management systems, but how does one wear a wooly jacket with knit cuffs with shorts? If I'm hot enough to manage shorts, I'd be sweating profusely at the neck and wrists. Sigh.
The candidness in your photography is amazing! In my opinion, each piece of your work carries a distinctive personality that's always a pleasure to explore.
Contrast her chic outfit against her blond nemesis stepping away from the photo. A much slouchier less structured bag, a heel with a skinny heel & sleeves of a blazer shoved up. The brunette's look is so much fresher & original.
She's SUBLIMISSIME! The hot new Parisienne style icon! She looks like Julia Faure, the irresistible main actress of "Sauvage Innocence", a great Garrel movie. Is that her?
