Franca SOzzani told in her blog that this show is on of the best of ever made by Elbaz for Lavin. I don't agree with her but I thin that the creativty and youngness that are into this show are amazing!
It's nice to see four black runway models, but I am a bit troubled that they're all wearing vaguely "tribal"-inspired fabrics, while other non-black models, at least in photos I found, appear to be wearing more modern clothes.
This is splendid, it is a big deal that he used this many black models specially in a Paris show, especially after seeing Anais Malik video of how the casting agents there have told her "you are black that is a problem". But as someone mentioned start giving us other woman of color as well. Alber can do no wrong!!!
Love it! Now if the fashion world and runway had models that were diverse in heights, body types, and ethnicity's and features everyone could be represented.
Stunning, because even though this picture is static it resonates with movement. And while, yes, the clothes are beautiful, these women carry themselves with confidence and style and that makes them more so. Sharon, Melbourne

This was the show I was looking forward to the most.
And as usual Alber Elbaz was one step ahead of everybody else.
So far it has been a rather disappointing Paris Fashion Week, even Dior, Balmain and Martin Margiela didn't have original collection this time..
Looking forward to YSL.
