I am really trying hard to restrain myself from making some sort of lame comment about how they 'should be on the other side of the lens'… Well looks like I failed on that account. But wisely observed mon amie, at London Fashion Week I couldn't help but notice how goddamn gorgeous virtually every blogger, photographer, street style snapper etc was… Maybe it's just a pre-requisite for attending fashion events. Who knows. X

Hey, here's an idea. Have you thought about giving your readers the same assignments…go out into your city and photograph people wearing clothes you admire, people that inspire you to try something new in fashion, to live bigger, bolder, more fabulous lives! I would love to see the results of that experiment. YOU might be the one inspired!
You don't have to post my comment, just thought I'd make the suggestion on the rare chance you hadn't thought of it. :-D
I'd love to become a photographer, it is an amazing art and I admire your work and writing, we briefly met at Liberty in London book signing. Thanks- Polly
This post is great! you have such amazing work! I'm always impressed when I open my homepage! I hope that one day I'll be that last girl, shooting fashion runways… in the mean time I'll keep dreaming and taking photos. ps: thanks for the constant inspiration.
Sometimes you just have to look behind the camera to find the true beauty. They all look great and it's refreshing to see the other side of the camera for a change!
This is great.. I am so envious of a lot of these other bloggers/photographers that live in large cities where they can actually catch a good number of candid photos of people on the street. If I relied solely on people standing on street corners I wouldn't have anything. I can't wait for when I visit NYC in January, its so easy to take peoples pictures when they aren't looking there..
I liked this post very much – I collect pictures (from magazines) of people *taking* photographs or holding cameras and I was just working on the scrapbook earlier. I love how the same thing can explode out from different minds at the same time.
All three pictures are great, but I am especially in love with the second. The casual black dress, bare legs, and dirty completely worn sneakers. How does she pull this into such a great look? Don't know, but it works!
Unless one of my kids grows up to be somehow connected in the fashion industry, I will probably never have the privilege of attending a Fashion Week event, so I especially appreciate the view of what's going on off the runway as well as on. cool capture!! and Im sure they were snapping you back….must be such a vibe during fashion week – wish i could experience it – just once and id be happy!!!
I think the last girl is wondering how to work it – who's plant is she? Come on, own up! These days everybody does have a camera around their necks but a true master is sure of what to do with it, where to point it and at what moment.
