It was one of the most modern and elegant YSL collections!
Every interesting collection for this season was inspired in a way by Yves Saint Laurent, and I was wondering if Stefano Pilati will do the same thing.
Instead he took the YSL icons, changed them all and made them his own!
Sexy and austere. I love it. Love the suit with the slit skirt and pocket. Gosh, Stefano Pilati is so handsome and talented. He really brought the brand back to life.
The skirts, teh shapes, the cut and the dresses, so yves Saint Laurent, everything is Amazing….!!!!! And the outfit that you choose are, maybe, the best one of all the collection (however I'd have liked to see the dress with the ruffle…)
The long green dress is truly beautiful, as is the first look. The others I'm not so keen on, and I definitely don't like how severe the makeup and hair make the models. It's a bit too sterile, I think, for such chic clothes.
These are incredible clothes. A real 1940's vibe, but he the skewed pocket and the thigh-high slit set the convention on its ear. The emerald ruffle dress is my favorite. I can see Ingrid Bergman sashaying into Rick's Bar in any of these.
Yes, very chic. I like the winter white suit with the black edging, and the belt. It is very wearable. The pocket placement at the top of the slit is also nice. These could be worn easily.
The last picture of the man in this lineup. Very handsome model, and like the way the shirt is cut low to show off his nice, well-defined chest. And that smile, framed by the beard – very nice.
It was a great collection. YSL never disappoints. Now, I haven't looked at the shoes in detail, but it seems to me that they are wedges, but from behind, they look like regular heels. What a great way to make wedges less chunky!
I love this YSL collection. I would personally wear the first, second and fourth outfit. The collection has that whole Italian sensuality to it. Very nice.
Wow!! It's a very modern way to conceive immortal YSL female icon! I really like the fact that Pilati didn't follow the "shabby chic" trend that is now on in Paris…
I love YSL, and this season's collection was awesome (as it is always), but I didn't like the makeup – way too much focus on the eyebrows. What's this trend of bleaching them? It's been seen at a few shows, and I am horrified by the orange-y blonde shades that are so unflattering, especially on brunettes. The lips are stunning, but the rest.. nay. Not even the hair.
