there’s something a bit ‘little Edie Beale’ about her – i love the multiple stud details on her granny booties, and her animal print scarf is the perfect splash of print and texture.
First, this is a great look! From the matching dress and socks to the tapered coat and tights-and topped off with fantastic boots and accessories! Second, she’s sooooo cute! Love her pose!
i love the way she’s matched her gloves and bag! The rusty brown is great with black and white. I love the flowers in her hair, they draw attention to her very pretty, delicate features. I’ve enjoyed the more high fashion posts from recent fashion weeks but this real street style is a breath of fresh air!
gorgeous girl. I think the commenter who mentioned Edie hit the nail on the head. The matching gloves and bag with the black jacket? die. i’d love to see what was in her hair a little better.
I’m totally missing the boat on this one. The bag is just ok. The boots have been done before. Nothing special about the outfit that I can see and I can’t make out what’s going on with her hair. Hope the Sartorialist chimes in on this one because I don’t get it.
My first thought was "gosh, it's Blake Lively" :P Then when I saw it wasn't I thought about the bag, wich is gourgeous. I think H&M had a similar last year.
wow she did a good job with her combination…looks romantic, self-confident and sweet all the time. colourful accents and nice little details. more women should go for a modern princess-look like that.
When I first saw this I thought: Nice but not special. A bit plain, even.
But, the more I look, the more I notice the boots with the tiny socks, the interesting, intriguing ruffled skirt, the leopard scarf – adventurous but not loud or tacky – the great hair style, the cool bag, and the great overcoat. Oh, and the expression.
I’m swept into a Jane Austen romance by the faraway gaze in her eyes, her pose, the tendrils of her hair, and the soft layered clothes combined with the sturdy lace-up boots. But the color cohesion between her lipstick, that fabulous bag, and her gloves compliment her fair skin and hair color so perfectly. She is also wearing the perfect shade of blush and her eye makeup is strong and defined, but remains soft and mysterious. Her outfit is flawless, but I think this shot (gorgeous photography, as always) truly highlights how makeup can be used to accentuate a look.
Looks great! I also thought it was Blake Lively at first. I am not a fan of the animal print scarf, but I’ve never cared for animal print. Love the color of the dress.
the bag is ‘broken’ at the bottom…but i love that little ‘mistake’ ..its idiosyncratic and adds character and a sense of the off-beat to her already unique look.
It’s her beauty and attitude which make this photo. I have a bunch of similar stuff in my wardrboe but if I threw it on, I’d look like a mad bag lady. Something about the gaze – winsome but forthright – reminds of Regina Spektor. She’s in her own world, and very NY at the same time.
She is beautyful too, not only her clothes. Her bag and boots it’s amazing, and she, she is really beauty. I love her.She is beautyful too, not only her clothes. Her bag and boots it’s amazing, and she, she is really beauty. I love her.
I love her drawn in posture and slight curtsy; it even appears as though she is using the oval gape of her sleeve as an impromptu muff! The color of the bag is remarkable; it reminds me of a wine glass stain against a grey surface. However, the design is overwhelming; lamentably, it reminds me of those seat-belt buckle purses that one can find at gift shops.
Agreed! Love the bag! Though not sure I like that loose piece hanging out there on the left . . . Very whimsical design, and large enough to be practical.
she could easily be blake lively's more interesting older sister who doesn't like the spotlight. or maybe my imagination's just running wild…the simplistic intricacy of her outfit catches the attention

Funny how an update in a fashion blog can make a crummy day a bit less stressful . . .
Great bag. I adore the weaved look all the way down to the worn corner and flailing patch.
