Well, he looks very pleased!
March 25, 2009 at 10:19 am
Ah! That’s superfantastik! I love the lime/chartreuse with black. Also the crazy proportions. Reminds me of Bernard Wilhelm somehow…
March 25, 2009 at 10:40 am
You know… I actually rather like his use of color. The knit and texture is interesting, too.

Yes, it is fun to learn to knit!

Lets hope the wind doesn’t pick up, he might take off!
March 25, 2009 at 11:34 am
how hilariously french is his facial expression?
March 25, 2009 at 12:02 pm
hey this guy was was behind me in the eurostar queue back to london. how funny and there he is again with all his knitwear…
March 25, 2009 at 12:14 pm
I can’t belive it, I’m going to Paris in a month! Where are the best shops, both second hand and other shops? I’ve heard that Paris is a great partycity, where should I go?

March 25, 2009 at 12:18 pm
i like his use of the fitted hat. not your typical streetwear outfit.
March 25, 2009 at 12:21 pm
March 25, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Reminds me of my best friend, gay neighbor in his adolescence, discovering he’s gay and wanting to wear womens’ clothes but hasn’t quite figured out how to do it yet. The vest/dress and the red shirt are the feminine cloaked beneath the black vying for equal exposure.

March 25, 2009 at 12:35 pm
OMG. i would really wear this outfit and the fact that it’s a he wearing this outfit makes everything even better.
March 25, 2009 at 12:51 pm
Hmm. It’s like Yazz and the Plastic Population meets Echo and the Bunnymen in their respective pomp. He makes me smile but I won’t be told by anyone that that is a good sweater.

such a funky nerdy kid!
March 25, 2009 at 2:28 pm
March 25, 2009 at 2:29 pm
The cap is sweet, makes him look like a children’s book illustration come to life.
March 25, 2009 at 2:36 pm
He could have saved alot of grandma’s yarn if he had told her his size before she started knitting…
March 25, 2009 at 2:47 pm
This is art (sculpture).
March 25, 2009 at 2:49 pm
His expression says, “Yeah, I know how I look.”
So I won’t comment on how I think he looks.
March 25, 2009 at 3:21 pm
His proportions are quite audacious and its awesome. He has that “i don’t care if you like my outfit” attitude.
March 25, 2009 at 3:43 pm
His oversized sweater and his big, dark coat do more to make his head look smaller. Does not help that he has long arms for being so pencily, either. I’d be pissed, too. But I do appreciate the photo’s perspective…as always expertly shot by our wonderful Sart. He can make questionable dressing look interesting, every time. Thanks.
March 25, 2009 at 3:51 pm
AWESOME love it! definitely makes me smile the proportions rock! as does the jumper:)the hat and scarf with the boots balance each other out. It’s nice to see guys playing with fresh colours. Really LOVE IT!
March 25, 2009 at 4:13 pm
WHERE can i get that sweater? AMAZINg with the black skinny jeans and lace ups.
March 25, 2009 at 4:41 pm
i know what im wearing tomorrow now
March 25, 2009 at 5:05 pm
My argument would not be on the knit but on the scarf. I rather like it with the red shirt underneath… and I don’t think anyone else but this man could pull off that outfit successfully.
March 25, 2009 at 5:06 pm
Pretty silly. Not my favorite, but it grows on me…
March 25, 2009 at 5:30 pm
I get that he’s an art student and employing creativity and experimentation to try to express himself as an individual (while of course keeping to the current uniform of skinny jeans and combat boots). And I applaud him for his attempt. But that sweater has absolutely no redeeming qualities. Is it supposed to be ironic?
And he looks like Ugly Betty’s nephew with a Hapsburg chin. Is he a Hapsburg?
March 25, 2009 at 5:41 pm
Dang! He looks like a pack of Lifesavers!!! LOL.
March 25, 2009 at 5:54 pm
You needs things like this to keep it amusing and fresh—no matter how ridiculous.
I'm glad to see ball caps used (and working), too. I don't know why but I like to see ball caps put together in an interesting way
I just captured this kid recently>>
March 25, 2009 at 6:01 pm
like the funny vest with the jeans shoes and coat but think the rest is all a bit too much
March 25, 2009 at 7:06 pm
Hmmm…I’m not sure I could get behind this look… he needs to heed Chanel and remove something…
I do like the funky knit vest, but not in this combo.
March 25, 2009 at 7:28 pm
Some kinda Nickelodeon cutie
March 25, 2009 at 9:15 pm
all of you guys are retarded. what are all of these RULES of style you people are so obnoxiously making up? this boy is completely enigmatic. funky fresh fo sho. stop being ignorant.

I love wearing oversized knit with a skinny jean and I’m a boy too. I want this sweater.
March 26, 2009 at 3:31 am
I’d never wear this but love seeing someone else in such a crazy outfit!
March 26, 2009 at 4:08 am

his jumper is a mazing!
March 26, 2009 at 7:10 am
March 26, 2009 at 10:40 am
If only I could pull off this look..
March 26, 2009 at 11:55 am
Ok, this dude is not French nor is he English. And neither an art-student. He’s studying fashion in South-England and is orginally from Norway. That put a side – I like the outfit, minus the scarf.
March 26, 2009 at 3:33 pm
Like no one ever experimented when they were young??
Maybe he bought the sweater vintage for 3 euros?? And made it his personal statement!!
However, dear friends, if I ever show up with such a sweater, please, remove me from the premises immediately!!
March 26, 2009 at 6:43 pm
Oh lord. He looks like one of Fagan’s orphans.
His look definitely works, though!
March 26, 2009 at 7:54 pm
though i do like his sweater, his look kind of screams “i need attention”
March 26, 2009 at 8:49 pm
Seriously? The scaff is absolutly atroscious. Potentially it could look funky with the sweater and shirt contrasting the rest of the outfit, but the scaff just makes it seemed contrived. Even without it, the outfit is still arguablly bad and poorly texturised (although I would have to actually see it without the scaff).
March 26, 2009 at 11:08 pm
My original reaction was that this outfit is like a train wreck -horrid but you just can’t look away, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Without the sweater, it would just be another all black/scarf/skinny jeans and a pop of color outfit, but the sweater is just so completely unexpected, so completely granny/little kid-like, so completely uncool, that it’s the perfect foil for the hipster look we think he’d be aiming for. Maybe it’s supposed to be ironic – anyway it’s fascinating.
March 27, 2009 at 2:00 am
It would fun to start pulling on a thread end.
March 27, 2009 at 9:59 am
Who doesn’t love a boy that knits? and oh, how I missed those over-sized boots.Brava!

I did not know that Samantha Ronson was in town.
March 31, 2009 at 6:31 pm
Colour is fine.. most of it makes sense.. the size of the knit is just too big and awkward.
April 1, 2009 at 9:52 pm
The red/lime stripe with the red shirt is brilliant! What a shame he kept knitting a little too long and got out the cream wool.
Just the striped sweater without the extra textured cream band would have been wonderful. I would love to unpick the bottom quarter of this sweater and re-knit it the same as the rest. Then you would all love it!
May 7, 2009 at 11:05 pm
how deliciously left of centre
September 26, 2009 at 1:06 am
Is weird to see that vest, its funny, i think i like it :)
January 26, 2012 at 8:03 am
It’s rather random bits and pieces but it all sit together in a very comfortable and nice-to-look at way. I think he’s just having fun and that’s what the street fashion is about. Love it.
May 18, 2012 at 11:07 am
This is kind of like gangsta meets Grandma’s jumper.
August 8, 2013 at 12:52 am
He has a real point of view.
The unusual proportions are just amazing , it is very difficult to find the right unusual …. here absolutely managed!
