Have you photographed her before? I recognize that face… green trench coat, black scarf, burgundy wedges, hair tossed over the same shoulder? If not, then it’s definitely the same facial expression.

March 29, 2009 at 9:53 am
Great synergy of colour: nice melting of “cold” colours and “warm” ones! Interesting the attemp to introduce the black among this universe through the bag, but I would have preferred an elettric blu one, to enhance the cold colours and balance this armony!

I love this handbag. Where can I get one? Thanks much…
March 29, 2009 at 11:23 am
wow, she’s cute. the first thing i thought when i saw this picture was “what a sunny disposition”, even though i don’t even know the girl, her outfit speaks louder than words.
March 29, 2009 at 11:26 am
Gloria’s style is fantastic. She’s always colourful and fun. I don’t think she takes fashion too seriously.
March 29, 2009 at 11:31 am

She looks happy! Great colors for SPRING- puts a smile on your face.
March 29, 2009 at 1:53 pm
I think her jacket is just too bright/hot for a sweet young lady like her.
March 29, 2009 at 2:02 pm
Great hair–great dimples. You have to be happy to be dressed so brightly. She is gorgeous!!
March 29, 2009 at 2:17 pm

March 29, 2009 at 2:23 pm
cute and comfortable
March 29, 2009 at 2:26 pm
I usually love her playful style but I don’t like this. It looks like a clown’s jacket.
March 29, 2009 at 2:31 pm
I don’t like the pants, but the colors are fantastic!
March 29, 2009 at 2:34 pm
How innovative to put these colors and patterns together.
March 29, 2009 at 2:38 pm
I completely adore this… That bright plaid makes everything about her glow.
March 29, 2009 at 3:02 pm

March 29, 2009 at 3:32 pm
What a stunning mix of colour, the orange, red and yellow in the check the pink cardi the teal scarf! I love how it is all anchored with the tan pants.
March 29, 2009 at 3:44 pm

March 29, 2009 at 3:48 pm
Nice…but very flashy…don’t know what to think of it…:)
March 29, 2009 at 4:13 pm
Saw you mentioned in the German news on television in a serious production. Really cool to see this blog making waves all over the world not only on fashion related boards.
March 29, 2009 at 4:27 pm
love this look – i’m especially digging the cuffed skinny cargo pant this season. very versatile spring basic, as this girl so chicly demonstrates.
March 29, 2009 at 4:29 pm
March 29, 2009 at 4:35 pm
Oooh look at the colors! It’s so pretty how it pops out of the picture! And great contrast going on with the warm colors and then the cool colored scarf!:)
March 29, 2009 at 4:42 pm
Ooh! Love the gorgeous vibrant colours, and everything about this outfit is so 'fun', down to the bag & sneakers!
March 29, 2009 at 4:46 pm

March 29, 2009 at 5:11 pm
What an awesome jacket. I definitely like the clash of her scarf and jacket. There should be more of that going on
March 29, 2009 at 5:23 pm
wow! now that’s knowing how to work with colours!
March 29, 2009 at 5:36 pm
I love hot colours and i like her bas!
March 29, 2009 at 5:47 pm
As is, this is very cheerful but that’s a lot of color to take in. Would a khaki tee quiet the cacophony of color here? …Yes, a khaki tee and nude shoes IMHO.
March 29, 2009 at 6:09 pm
Perfect outfit for a sunny spring day. You even managed to get a bike in the background.
March 29, 2009 at 6:20 pm
adorable bag, but overall i’m NOT a fan.
March 29, 2009 at 6:22 pm
i always have a hard time wearing cargos, i always feel too casual wearing them, the only time i’ve worn my black cargo pants is working on a rebuilding project..even then i felt some how out of placebut she looks fantastic! i love her jacketreminds me of a jacket i had when i was young that my aunt made for me
March 29, 2009 at 6:25 pm
Spring has sprung in NYC!
March 29, 2009 at 6:29 pm
I am not a big fan of this.
The colour combination of the scarf/ cardigan/ top/ coat is great. But it’s let down by the pants which are not a great colour, and are blemished by the unbecoming cargo pockets. I also don’t really like sneakers like these, and I think they look like an afterhtought on this outfit.
She herself is gorgeous though, love the facial expression.
March 29, 2009 at 6:43 pm
Spring personified! The pink bike to her left could be hers too..dandy lady, another true sart n the city! Kudos scott ( u too gloria ;-)
March 29, 2009 at 6:49 pm
my god that jacket is GREATTT. i love how she pairs it with the bright blue scarf as well!! YESSS.
The Brooklyn Circus
March 29, 2009 at 6:56 pm
Beautiful mix of colors and layers.
March 29, 2009 at 7:13 pm
I love the pants (sort of anti-fashion, I guess?) and all the proportions. I wonder if that coat looks as good as that when she’s walking somewhere, and also how tall she is to work that.
The clear centerpiece of the pic is her awesome smile and how happy she looks, though! :D
March 29, 2009 at 7:16 pm
Love the colors! Her bag is very understated (obviously, because it’s black) but it would have been nice if it were a different color or shape to keep up with this extremely colorful outfit. Even so, this is just in time for spring!
March 29, 2009 at 7:51 pm
March 29, 2009 at 7:55 pm
Not so sure about this combo – it’s the pants. Great Photo, the colours have come out perfectly!
March 29, 2009 at 8:05 pm
That jacket is amazing! I really hope the bike is also hers.
March 29, 2009 at 8:26 pm
I am wearing a lot of cheched stuff lately… maybe it has to do with this whole “80′s punk” revival?
March 29, 2009 at 8:34 pm
i love the individuality, she is a breath of fresh air
March 29, 2009 at 9:21 pm
March 29, 2009 at 9:24 pm
Fresh & happy.
March 29, 2009 at 9:25 pm
I can jive with the bold color, but the chunky, black Marc Jacobs bag overpowers the look.
Also, a more finished shoe in a cream tone would be ideal. Maybe a cream and white spectator.
March 29, 2009 at 9:43 pm
Marc Jacobs bag! Not too crazy about the blue scarf, though. Looks too tight…
March 29, 2009 at 9:49 pm
She is so great. That jacket has a whole lot of color. Just what we need to see right now!
March 29, 2009 at 10:20 pm
the jacket is amazing!
March 29, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Couldn’t love this coat more.
March 29, 2009 at 10:29 pm
She reminds me of a trip to Costa Rica: her fresh face, beachy shoes and those colors! So sweet…
March 29, 2009 at 10:30 pm
March 29, 2009 at 10:32 pm
I can’t beleive no noe has commented yet on this photo. What a great, casual look – vibrant colors and a cute young woman. Great pink bike in the background too – you do love bikes don’t you Sart?
March 29, 2009 at 10:33 pm
my goodness, i adore this coat. its so bright, fun and happy. dont necessarily love how the whole look is styled, but my eyes instantly go to the coat, and how well it matches the t-shirt and cardigan underneath. love the green scarf too.
but the thing i like most is the candy pink bike in the background.. exactly the type of bike ive been looking for of late!
March 29, 2009 at 10:36 pm
So colorful! I’m in LOVE with the jacket and scarf (:
March 29, 2009 at 10:45 pm
I like the jacket and scarf. It’s nice to see some colors in New York! I was getting tired of seeing all black!
March 29, 2009 at 10:46 pm
I dont understand why people cover all their extremities except their ankles? It looks unbalanced.I want to unroll her pants and send her home to change her shoes.
March 29, 2009 at 10:55 pm
Gloria is glorious! Her outfit is so happy.
March 29, 2009 at 10:56 pm
SUN! She looks fresh in these colors!
March 29, 2009 at 11:34 pm
I’m not feeling the cargo pants
March 30, 2009 at 12:07 am
even though I’ve never met her before, it seems like this would fit her personality so well. adorable.
March 30, 2009 at 12:08 am
Terrific colors.Notice the coffee cup next to the pink bike!
March 30, 2009 at 12:41 am
March 30, 2009 at 12:51 am
While not a fan of orange, this colour combo looks delightfully fresh and flattering on her.
March 30, 2009 at 1:03 am

I like the vibrance here
March 30, 2009 at 2:46 am
I love this, it’s so refreshing! The colors are lovely, very eye-catching, yet relaxed.
March 30, 2009 at 2:50 am
marc jacobs bag!
March 30, 2009 at 3:24 am
Great the melting of “cold” colours and “warm” ones, which gives placity and lighting to the whole. Interesting the attemp to introduce among this colourful universe the black, through the bag, but I would have preferred an eletric blu bag, to enhance the contrast of colours; anyway the black provides discretion to the fit!
March 30, 2009 at 3:25 am
I love the light and how she managed to mix those colors. :)
March 30, 2009 at 3:31 am
wow. thats a whole lot of colour!

March 30, 2009 at 8:01 am
I’m always afraid of mixing orange and blue (possibly looking as if I have too much school spirit by wearing the school colors) but she looks absolutely adorable! And she also looks super–comfortable as well.
March 30, 2009 at 8:09 am
not a fan of the outfit to be honest
March 30, 2009 at 8:20 am
Spring is on the way! Love the layering and mixing of colors!

frans boone-great observation. she is wearing all the colors in the street behind her. in a sense she’s more new york than the less colorful ones.
she is a sign of spring
March 30, 2009 at 11:14 am
I like the combination of the bright jacket with a scarf from a completely different color spectrum, it really pops.
March 30, 2009 at 11:53 am
it’s interesting to notice that the nyc pictures have more color in them than the european ones
March 30, 2009 at 12:46 pm
How adorable, her jacket has the most wonderful juicy starburst candy colors I’ve ever seen, I want to eat it up!
March 30, 2009 at 1:40 pm

Delighted and Charmed
March 30, 2009 at 3:28 pm
sigh. so much love for Gloria.
March 30, 2009 at 3:59 pm
…NYC needs these colors, bravo!
March 30, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Not a fan, I feel like the pants and shoes are all wrong. Also think the dark bag kills the entire bright/sunny look…
March 30, 2009 at 9:06 pm
great colors. i have this marc jacobs sports bag – such a keeper.
what a doll n’ a 1/2
March 30, 2009 at 10:40 pm
bright colors like this are uplifting in our depressing economic situation. i like her vibe too. it works with her outfit.
March 30, 2009 at 11:33 pm
I Heart Gloria B !!!
March 31, 2009 at 2:09 am
her coat hurts my eyes.
March 31, 2009 at 2:29 am

March 31, 2009 at 8:54 am

March 31, 2009 at 9:48 am
uauu I love the jacket, really colorful and gorgeous gloria !!!
March 31, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Looks good for camera, but otherwise I wouldn’t wear that bright plaid jacket.
Golden Girl Olive
March 31, 2009 at 9:46 pm
The top half of this outfit is super cute. I’m also jealous of whoever owns the pink beachcruiser in the background. But, I’m not really a fan of khakis. Or cargo pants. Or capris.
April 1, 2009 at 12:46 am
i love to see cheer in NYC with the way things are these days, so hopeful
April 1, 2009 at 8:52 pm
Ooh pink bike!
What strikes me about this outfit is what I’ve started noticing about a lot of my cooler weather/freezing-cold-wish-I-was-in-your-Miami-photos-weather outfits is that it looks so much better with the coat and the scarf.
If you took away either one of those elements the outfit doesn’t have nearly the same impact.
Take away both the coat and the scarf and the outfit will put you to sleep.
Sometimes I need to be reminded of that. Its like three different outfits to plan for: your inside one; your buttoned up outside one; and this type of look, where the coat is open so you get an outfit defined by the play between the outside and inside layers.
Phew thats a lot of outfit planning.
I always get a bit sad when the best look is # 3, b/c eventually I’ll have to take my coat off…
April 1, 2009 at 10:12 pm
Oh PLEASE tell me she arrived on that beautiful pink bike in the background! That would make the whole thing just PERFECT!
April 2, 2009 at 9:53 am
I would look very weird in that outfit but it works on her… what I like about it is that the only black thing is the bag… thumbs up for colours!
April 2, 2009 at 4:12 pm
I have that Marc by Marc bag.I loveeee it.
April 2, 2009 at 8:36 pm
I wish I could figure out how to wear colour like this!
April 3, 2009 at 1:52 pm
I love the khakis with a splash of color from the coat, but I personally would’ve ditched the scarf and t-shirt and wore white instead.
April 3, 2009 at 6:44 pm
What effortless style she has.
April 4, 2009 at 7:42 am
OMG. SHE IS GREAT!!!
April 6, 2009 at 11:12 pm
That jacket is phenomenal. You’ve photographed her before, haven’t you? I recognize her from the shoot with the four Teen Vogue girls.
April 7, 2009 at 1:31 pm
who is the bag by?
May 1, 2009 at 4:23 pm
