I’m not sure on the colours she matched… I mean, it isn’t bad if senn like this, but the entire figure… I’m curous to see it. Anyway, I love her shorts
This might sound strange, but I really like that her shoes are dirty. I’ve always shied away from white shoes because they get dirty, but this is inspiring because she still looks fab. Not many could pull this off, especially the pink tights.
Feels like someone is anxious for spring. The shorts with the texture-y print are great but next to the pink legs, olive drab jacket and brown suede bag, they’re too summery. Save the shorts for when the weather’s a little warmer and ditch the tights, the legs are great too.
OMG, I remember her write-up on this shot. She said she was so thankful for the lighting, because she had a snag in those tights that didn’t show. Great shot, Scott.
I absolutely looove this, but i’m seeing those legs as much more orange than pink. It’s sort of earthy with a bit of glam because of the heals and swarovski covered shorts.
Bill Cunningham noted a few weeks ago that in Paris, the legs were flaunted but covered–short skirts with tights, whereas in NY pants were more the rule, and if legs were shown they were bare, even in the cold. Interesting divergence. I see, even in the south of France, women in tights though temps are around 70 these days. I have to admit that the bare leg look seems very Bridget Jones tarty to me.
hehehe…very cute shot… the way the light dances on the pavement is beautiful too
LOVE those heels, and the shorts – the way this photo is taken makes the red legs look cool, but i bet in real life it made ‘em look like those plastic german sausages.. what are they called? frankfurters!
SO GLAD to see the large version of the photograph at last- Susie Bubble truly is one of style’s greatest originals today, there’s no one quite like her. And that’s some clever shot-taking, you managed to avoid showing the rip in her tights altogether. PS: She has awesome legs, and they do not look like sausages of any description. In or out of tights.
Also, yay for the appearance of Ms Bubble on The Sartorialist at long last- wonder how you guys managed to miss each other at Fashion Week before this.

I’m loving those shorts and hating those shoes. I too wonder if the shorts would hurt when you sat down – they’re buttons, not embroidery, right?

Just wonderful. Such great personal style. I’m not sure of the colors in reality, but on my screen the tights show up as a bright coral red.
