Love the YSL’s. They have a really simple design, and that is what makes them beautiful. Really cute girl too, that was such a lovely smile!
April 27, 2009 at 12:37 pm

April 27, 2009 at 12:50 pm
love how the crosswalk sign emphasizes the shoes… premeditated?
April 27, 2009 at 12:52 pm
Those boots and that sign! So fun. I can hear Nancy Sinatra’s voice now…
April 27, 2009 at 1:03 pm
Absolutely beautiful. And that sign is too cute.
April 27, 2009 at 1:04 pm
Got to love that sign. “Warning! Runaway legs!”

April 27, 2009 at 1:42 pm
the miroslava duma shoes! beautiful.
April 27, 2009 at 1:46 pm
I’m so tired of seeing those YSL platform boots! They’ve made their way into many closets, but do nothing for those who wear them. The gorgeous girl you snapped just had her leg line truncated by those boots. Shame!
April 27, 2009 at 1:51 pm
this is just amazing, the easy fabric and the heavy shoes :) great shoes :)
April 27, 2009 at 1:52 pm
What a wonderful shot with the road sign’s feet going the opposite direction!
life according to celia...
April 27, 2009 at 2:06 pm
this girl gets it!
April 27, 2009 at 2:28 pm
what a rebel punk she is.…as we can clearly see that in sydney are only pants and flat shoes allowed.
April 27, 2009 at 2:54 pm
love the YSL’s… but not with this outfit.
Rock'n Roll Ballerina

April 27, 2009 at 3:37 pm
love those killer shoe of the season YSL heels
April 27, 2009 at 3:42 pm
This girl seems very chill and confident. Hot style too, and those sexified shoes add a perfect touch!
April 28, 2009 at 11:29 am
Cute girl. But this ensemble first appears to be all about the shoes. She seems too short or petite for them. Maybe it’s just me being a little tire of seeing them on this blog.
Her hair is great. Its texture and the skirt’s print works well together. Her vest has an interesting loose cut.
April 28, 2009 at 3:35 pm
HOw can she wear them without falling down. She looks great.
April 29, 2009 at 6:15 pm
AHHH! that dress is amazing. It reminds me of those marble paintings.
April 29, 2009 at 6:29 pm
The sign is there to indicate a pedestrian crossing
Really wish Sart had spent more time in Melbourne.. and hope he goes north the Qld.
April 29, 2009 at 6:32 pm
a great model pose meets a great photographer.
April 29, 2009 at 9:56 pm
It’s those shoes again!
April 29, 2009 at 11:09 pm
Superb framing. I love the arch surrounded by vertical lines. Awful shoes.
April 30, 2009 at 1:48 am
Is this the girl from the Virgin adds at central atm?
April 30, 2009 at 4:47 am
where do you find these people? I guess I don’t get out enough in Sydney, she is very cute and the shoes are just great.
April 30, 2009 at 4:59 am
Sign means pedestrian crossing. Nothing pedestrian about her, though!
May 2, 2009 at 12:58 am
The girl’s name is Assia Benmedjdoub and she’s a fashion journalist for Ragtrader magazine. Trust me, she always looks this flawless!

May 5, 2009 at 11:30 pm
That skirt is from Barkins, $39.95…. love it, esp with the luxe shoes.
May 6, 2009 at 7:56 am
amazing photo – love the crosswalk sign, why don’t we have those in the US? Fantastic shoes – info? http://www.lotussarasota.com
May 9, 2009 at 3:01 am
know that I seem to be the sole deviant on this entry. YUCK. I don’t like the boots or the outfit, and especially together. I know that there is this resurgance of 80′s -esque fashion…I lived it the first time…I just don’t dig it. Something newThe woman, though, is quite beautiful.
May 10, 2009 at 2:05 am
This outfit is nice but nothing special. However, I don’t see how she could have walked around in the Rocks with those heels. She would have rolled her ankles soooo many times!
May 10, 2009 at 4:19 am
it’s a sign for a crossing
i love her hair
May 10, 2009 at 6:46 am
i was a little obsessed looking at this girl at fashion week – she has the most beautiful smile in real life – slightly buck teeth- even more adorable than anything else with that gorgeous face.
May 10, 2009 at 5:07 pm
I’m sorry, but these ankle boots have to go. They’re ridiculous – am I the only one who thinks this? (Probably…) This outfit would be much more pleasing to me if she had on a simple pair of flip flops or even some kind of espadrille… So, so sick of the boot thing. They make short women look shorter and every outfit look tougher than it should. Tougher than it deserves to be. Enough with the stupid boots.
May 11, 2009 at 2:49 am
i’d definitely follow her rather than the directions of that sign
May 15, 2009 at 5:28 am
love the gucci’s! Best shoe innovation in 5 years!
June 11, 2009 at 2:48 am
Great shot! The black outfit in the magical sun. The shoes are nice too.
June 11, 2009 at 2:49 am
I agree mot made for walking made for looking at them, they're really cool
August 30, 2010 at 8:27 am
Its a pedestrian sign to walk across the road. Its about 3pm somewhere around the Rocks, its Autumn..a great time of the year in Sydney.Paul
August 15, 2011 at 11:33 pm
You can tell she feels sexy in those shoes, and that is why she looks good. A great example of someone that looks good because they know how to dress.
