I especially like the second photo, with the man in the green tee-shirt. He has a wonderful haircut. His pose is great. The sockless shoes are cool. The shadows and the bike make for a wonderful photo!
I am sorry but I am a fan of Green in a gentleman’s wardrobe…
Green in khaki/olive/army and alikes are a completely different game from the emerald green of a Paddy’s outfit
Second picture perfectly epitomize it
I hope every place "goes green"- it's a color which seems to me to have been largely "missing" in fashion for some time. I'd love an olive suit, but haven't seen one in 20 years. It looks good here, particularly the bottom photo.
I'll ever tire of the Persol sunglasses pictured in top photo. Designed 50 years ago, it is one of the few frames that is both iconically timeless and modern.
Guy on top does look like Toby! Both look great. I personally wouldn't ever be decked out in the same color scheme head-to-toe, but it works for these two!
I love the dress shoes with no socks! (or perhaps he's wearing below the ankle socks hidden by the shoes?) In any case, I think its a nice way to transition black, dressy shoes for a casual summer day. If only guys in the US would dress like this…so timeless, effortless and chic!
yeah I agree with Eric, the fellow in the first picture does look uncannily like Tobey Maguire all spruced up…and the guy with the bike looks a teensy bit like a rugged version of Adam Levine (of Maroon 5), the haircut especially.
How strange, I just the past two days decided bottle/racing green is going to be my new fancy, thanks for the confirmation! I like the bike guy. Now thinking about these seasons old green suede Balenciaga shoes I saw in Browns sale store today…
Flashback to college chemistry! the green suit meant it was Wednesday – every single Wednesday, all semester… at 8:00 am, too! Dr. Mauer's hour of power… Now if this gentleman had taught the class, I'd have brought my cup of coffee and paid attention.
I love the green t-shirt in the second photo, but not nearly as much as I like the twist of the cyclist parked on the bike rack and the bike in the middle of the sidewalk.

Yes, that´s Manuel Frei from Germany´s GQ, I worked with him for several years. He´s got style, this is one of his more subdued outfits – check him out with pink socks, green knit tie and brown jacket! Unfortunately, there are few guys in germany who dress that well…
Have been doing green in my clothes for the last two or three years and it is always amazing how people react to it – they come up and ask where I got the green item I will be wearing, even if they have seen it on me before in another colour. I can never have enough green sweaters or t-shirts and have been searching for the perfect fitted green linen jacket for ages (preferably in moss green)
I'll tell you little secret: this kind of dark olive green always make you looking tan, even you had never seen the sun – good choice for beginning of summer, try it and you will like it.
LOVE the second photo, especially the shoes with no socks. I have a pair from j.crew that I've been wearing for a decade- sockless, except in winter. best look ever.
A few of us at the office have taken to wearing our shoes sockless this summer. We get kidded all the time about our smelly, sweaty shoes. I guess it's a look that comes with a price. Sure gets alot of attention though. Definitely worth it!
a fan of the guy's style in the second photo. hope it wasnt too hot in milan with the skin on leather, theres a fine line between sacrificing personal hygeine for style.
