Again, very cute look, but even better haircut.

While I was in Mexico City, I spent some time at Centro, the fashion design school.

It was so nice to see fashion students that actually dressed like they wanted to be in the fashion business.

The young design students in Mexico seem to understand the strength of a cute outfit and great hair.

Wow! Mexico City is pretty great.  Today is my first day shooting here, so next week I think I will have lots of cool images.

I will also have new images from Barcelona, which is my next stop on this little journey.

I saw this young lady doing fashion sketches in Union Square the other day. I thought there was something so charming in how lost in her own world she was while she worked.

I just stood there for a little while, watching and trying to figure out how to capture the moment. Suddenly, the clouds opened for a few minutes and the sun bounced off her white notebook, lighting her face perfectly and basically creating the image for me.

This week, I’ll be visiting Mexico City for the first time. Not the best choice for my new diet (mexican food is my favorite!)

Any suggestions of places to visit or things to do, let me know.

I was at one of my favorite stores, Leo Design, the other day and discovered a new product called Barr-Co. Eau De Parfum. I had to buy it immediately, solely based on the incredible packaging. To be honest, I still don’t even know what it smells like.  I’m sure it smells great, but it looks even better.

As you know, I’m a huge fan of the Santa Maria Novella and this packing is the American version of that beautiful period of typography.

Flip flops, most divisive footwear on the planet.

I bought this book ,Another London, solely based on this image.

It blew me away, so simple and yet so powerful.

The hair, the posture, the knit, the cassette recorder!

It reminds me that sometimes what seems ordinary today could seem extraordinary tomorrow.

I always keep two pairs of Alden’s Cordovan in my closet at all times.

One pair’s worn down and beaten up, and the other pair, shoe-treed and polished.

They’re maybe the most versatile shoe in my closet.
